I’m playing the impressive CYBERPUNK 2077: Phantom Liberty and I just got a (rather hard to find) physical copy of Helldivers 2 I’ll be starting once I finish the Phantom Liberty DLC. I’m very much looking forward to Helldivers 2 but I’m also in no rush to blow through Phantom Liberty either as it’s quite well done and beefy for an add-on.

Not a Final Fantasy player but definitely a big Fan of Tifa Lockhart! 😉😂💪🏽👍🏽

Nothing for me personally but admittedly another solid month. Sony is crushing the Essential tier so far this year. Every month has had good games so far.

I see that Quantum Error is down to $25 and I'm tempted to pull the trigger on it as I've had my eye on it since it was in production, but I hear it's absolutely AWFUL. Maybe if I hold out long enough it'll drop to $15???

This one isn't for me but it's definitely a quality game and good to see Sony continuing the strong offerings trend for this year after starting with Evil West and following up this past month with the excellent Steelrising and completely addictive and fun Rollerdrome.

Playing through Rollerdrome which is an incredibly fun and rather addictive game. Also playing through RESISTANCE: Retribution for nostalgia’s sake and because I really enjoy (and miss!) the RESISTANCE series. Controls and graphics are terrible but it’s nice to have another RESISTANCE game on the trophy stack. I wish they would make a new one. Either that or a remaster of Fall Of Man with trophies!

Looks Amazing!! My most anticipated game this year is now actually DLC. And a substantial one at that judging by the price tag. Also one of the VERY RARE instances where I will preorder something.

Just upgraded my subscription for $8 so I can download RESISTANCE: Retribution. I will, however, be switching it back before it renews automatically.

With the addition of RESISTANCE: Retribution Sony will finally be getting me to upgrade to Premium. Been looking forward to this for a long time. Plus Jet Moto 2 is a nice addition as well. I’m not a big fan of racing games but for some reason I always really enjoyed the Jet Moto series

Just have one trophy left in Jedi Survivor (a rather grindy one at that) for platinum and then I’m on to Rollerdrome.

I absolutely loved the Resistance series (wish it would make a comeback with a new entry) and have been looking for this to hit Premium. I played it back on PSP and had a blast with it. Now that it finally will be making it's appearance on PS4 and 5, as long as it has trophies , it looks like Sony will finally get me to upgrade to Premium for a few months until my next subscription cycle.

THERE IT IS!!!!!!!! Been waiting for RESISTANCE: Retribution to show up on Premium! If it shows up with trophies Sony will get my $$ for the remainder of my yearly subscription. And Jet Moto 2 as well?? BONUS!!!

STAR WARS: Jedi Survivor

To be fair, since the comparison was made, The Callisto Protocol was a ‘AAAA’ game in terms of actual QUALITY, but it underperformed in terms of expectations and wasn’t as fun to play due to the clunky melee based combat the game relied so heavily on. But as far as graphics, sound, environment, responsiveness of the controls, etc? Yeah it was solid as a rock.

Been burned FAR too many times on pre-orders so I’ll pass until some reviews are out. More than likely I’ll buy this at full price and close to launch as I’ve had this on my radar for quite some time but I can’t bring myself to pre-order an ‘unknown quantity’. If it were something like God Of War, Dead Space, Crysis, BioShock, etc I would do it as I know what I’m (likely) getting for my money but not w a new IP.

Had my eye on Rollerdrome for quite a while but never pulled the trigger on it. As soon as I’m done w Jedi Survivor that’s what I’ll be playing next.

As for Steelrising, I 100%’d that a while back but I will say to anyone on the fence about it, it’s a fantastic game and one of the better Soulslikes out there. DLC is worth picking up too.

Honestly don’t get the ppl that think this month is a crap selection. Sure, to each their own / no accounting for taste, but this is one of the better months I’ve seen in some time. Sony has stepped it up this year, as last month was pretty good too.

Always wanted to play Gears Of War but never wanted to buy an Xbox. Really hope this happens! At this rate, throw in Halo and Sunset Overdrive and I'd be over the moon about it all!!

A great looking body is nice, don’t get me wrong, but you can find that anywhere on the internet or streaming these days. How is the gameplay though? THAT is the real question. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks promising but then again, so have a lot of games that didn’t measure up upon release. Time will tell…..

Currently playing Jedi Survivor and doing a Godzilla movie marathon with some friends.

If true, the key to its success is going to be support of good AAA games and developers. The Vita was a great platform but big titles and developers vacated the platform rather quickly and it ended up more or less being an Indie platform which made it suffer in profitability and relevance.

This game was boring and I deleted it before I even finished it, despite being at the final chase sequence. I can’t get those 2 hours back which is the most upsetting part of the experience……

Glad we don’t have to wait much longer for this! Really looking forward to it!

There are a few titles I've had my eye on that are included in this sale, but nothing significant enough to entice me to buy. $5 off Phantom Liberty isn't much of a discount IMHO. Maybe when it gets down to $20 I'll pull the trigger on it. Same with Lords Of The Fallen. Once that's around 50%off I'll grab it, but it's not quite there yet. Otherwise I still have plenty to play until then.

Can't reccomend Steelrising highly enough. Fantastic game for any fan of Soulslikes. The DLC for it is absolutely worth the purchase too. GREAT game!!

Had my eye on this one for quite some time. I hope it turns out great. Looks really promising!

I’m in between games right now and while there are a handful of games I want to play, I just can’t bring myself to buy any of them at full price. I’m hoping the eventual sale that will start on February 1st will have a few of what I’m looking at in it. Until then I might just take a break. I will be watching my Lions tomorrow night though and hope they can punch their ticket to a franchise first Super Bowl!

Outriders was fun but Bulletstorm is their true gem. Such an underrated game IMHO. Would love to see a sequel but I doubt that will ever happen. None the less, I wish the best to the folks out of a job over there and I hope they find gainful, steady employment quickly!

Hands down this is the worst Joker design I think I've ever seen. Which is compounded by the fact that this is the same studio that brought us some of the best Batman universe character designs I think I've seen in the Arkham series. ....... Come to think of it, isn't this supposed to be in the same universe as the Arkham games?? So why the different design if so???

Getting close to completing both the DLC for COD: Ghosts on PS3 and Evil West on PS5 but definitely gonna be watching my Lions Sunday afternoon! After I’m done w those games….??? Not sure what I’ll play next. A lot of titles I’m interested in but we’ll see what I go with.

Not interested. Platinumed it once and that was enough for me. Both games are fun but very overrated IMHO. I know I’m in the minority there but that’s just how I feel about them.

I’m definitely interested but not at full price. This looks like something I can wait for the eventual sale on. Especially with the backlog of games I currently have.

I’m not jumping on the trash train. I’ll wait and see what the people who actually buy this game with their hard earned money have to say about it. I figure if someone is interested enough to pony up $70 they’re likely to be more honest about the game than a reviewer who played it for free or someone who hasn’t played it but wants to be edgy.

Just a personal preference, but if Sony does revive a long dormant franchise, I hope it’s the Resistance series

Currently in my second playthrough of EVIL WEST on NG+ on the hardest difficulty setting. Hasn’t been too terribly bad through the first 9 chapters but I know there are some REALLY difficult fights coming up.
Also working on getting 100% for the DLC for COD: GHOSTS on PS3. It’s one of two games in the series I have left to 100% them all (except for BO4 which I absolutely refuse to play for multiple reasons).

Has definitely caught my eye and if the reviews are decent to good I’m sure I’ll get around to playing it, but likely not until it’s on sale

As tired as I had gotten of the ‘Borderlands formula’, I found Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to be quite fun and enjoyable. Definitely recommended for any Borderlands or FPS fan. RE2 is also incredibly good and a solid game, needless to say.

I feel bad for Rocksteady. This game is gonna be DOA and I'm guessing Warner Brothers pushed them in the live service direction (??)

Just finished up GOD OF WAR Ragnarok - Valhalla so now I’m starting on a game I’d been holding off on buying since it came out over a year ago that just happens to be ‘free’ this month: Evil West. I’m only one chapter in so far but I can at least say the game looks incredible. The graphics are pretty top notch. Will have to play it a bit more to form any opinion beyond that.

There's actually very few games coming out in Q1 that I'm interested in, and those that I am I can wait for the inevitable sale or price drop. Besides, I have way too many games in my backlog I want to play and a few games that have DLC's coming out that I'll have access to as part of their Season Pass (Remnant 2, Atomic Heart). So, I won't be buying anything new and at full price........... which I rarely ever do anymore anyways.
