LOL. Pretty good sense of humor on who ever came up with that tweet! I know it's fashionable to hate on COD at this point, but I can't deny I enjoy the series / games. Some are better than others for sure, but the only COD I refused to play since 2007 was Black Ops 4. Pure trash that one was, but otherwise? I'm in. I, for one, will be picking this up.

The game is absolutely AMAZING. Glad it's a commercial success as well. They have some balance and bug issues to work out right now, but that's to be expected from any game these days at release. Regardless, I'm still having an absolute blast with it, as tough as it is in some spots.

Remnant 2 all weekend long.

Nothing for me thanks. Garbage selection IMHO, but after such an awesome month last month I wasn’t expecting anything too good either.

@Northern_munkey I completely forgot they made that game but good call! Fuse was a lot of fun in co-op and definitely an overlooked and underrated game. The weapons were absolutely amazing. The black hole gun and the mag shield were SICK!! Would definitely be awesome to see a remake of that for sure.

@katamariUK Couldn’t agree more about the player character chatter!! That DEFINITELY a needs to be toned down or given FAR more options than the few you hear over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!

@Pixipantalon There’s an option to join friends - it’s just very convoluted. When you’re in game, go to the world stone and when you touch it there should be an option to ‘join’ (doesn’t work on checkpoint stones). When you select ‘join’ a map will come up with a bunch of different worlds / places and as you hover over each one, you’ll be able to see which friend’s game is which and can join them through there. Hope that helps!

I’ve been playing this all weekend through early release and I don’t think I’d give this game a 7; It’s more like an 8 or 8.5, IMHO. Games ultimately come down to how much fun you’re having with them and, whether in co-op or solo, this one is a LOT of fun! Yes, it has a few things about it that could be improved on, but what game doesn’t?

Man, I’d really like to see either a new Resistance game or a remake of RESISTANCE: Fall Of Man. Honestly, I’m quite surprised we haven’t seen a remake or remaster of the series to this point as that’s one of the best FPS of all time IMHO.

I bought the Ultimate Edition of Remnant 2 so I am allllllllllllllll over that this weekend through early access and enjoying every second of it! Excellent sequel to an excellent game. 👍🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

I've never really understood people who refuse to buy a game because of something like framerate. I mean, play the games for the fun of them, not the framerate.

I’m in. I’m not going to be like a lot of people and post in forums that they hate the franchise, it can die, blah, blah, blah and then turn around and buy it when ‘no one’s looking’ so-to-speak. The sales numbers don’t lie. I like it, I buy it almost every year and I enjoy it for what it is. Just that simple.

I've always preferred the 'Warfare' series over the 'Black Ops' series and primarily because I prefer Spec Ops (the classic kind from the original MW2 & MW3, although the more recent versions are OK too) in a military shooter title, over zombies which is more prevalent in Black Ops than the warfare series. That said though, I also prefer Infinity Ward over Treyarch. So, as far as this year's release goes, it will remain to be seen who develops it and if they all of the sudden switch from Spec Ops, like the 2 most recent Warfare entries had, to zombies.

@Dusk_Actual Oh I am. For sure! I dig MP FPS and few do it as good as COD so I’m all over it but I’m also a relentless Platinum hunter (ck my profile 😉👍🏽💪🏽) and I like a challenge so I’m doing the Dead Ops Arcade 3 grind right now.

Well, I'm one trophy away from 100% completion on the trophy stack for CALL OF DUTY - Black Ops: Cold War, and it's the one giving any trophy hunter a run for their money; completing Dead Ops Arcade 3. Even doing it using Solo Advanced Start is a BRUTAL grind but I'm determined to get it done, so I'm chopping away at that. Next weekend though is a big one for me as my most anticipated game of the year drops: REMNANT 2!

I’m very much looking forward to this. I’ve been a big Mignola fan since before he ever created Hellboy and I dig rogue-likes / lites so I’ll be very interested to play this. Would love to see a release date on it. And I get the feeling this is going to be a ‘budget’ title along the lines of ALIENS: Dark Descent, where it releases at a price of $40 or something to that effect. I just don’t see this being a full blown $70 game for some reason……

I’ll likely check this game out but only once it hits PS Plus Extra or is steeply discounted.

Dead Space is my #1 game so far this year but that's just my tastes. And I fully expect that to change shortly with the release of Remnant 2. REALLY looking forward to that!! And there's still others yet to come out that I'm quite hyped for as well.

@Flaming_Kaiser No doubt he has a few decent flicks earlier in his career but I’d be curious to hear what you think is decent that he’s been in lately. I can’t think of a single thing, myself.

I've been playing my son's copy of BLACK OPS: Cold War lately and I have to say it's actually quite good! I'd been playing MW2 recently and got tired of it so I switched over to Cold War and found that, surprisingly enough, I actually like it a little better, despite my general disdain for zombies. The only piece of the package I really don't care for is the (dead Ops Arcade). It''s completely out of place, dumb, un-fun and ridiculously difficult. Definitely looking forward to having my own copy and also picking up Alan Wake.

My son has a physical copy of COD: Black Ops - Cold War so I’m getting a jump on the game being free on PSN and starting it now. I’m actually really enjoying it. Far better than I expected. Just hoping that the Fireteam game mode fires back up next week cuz the servers are absolutely DEAD for it and there’s a trophy tied to it…….

For me, this is one of the best months in an incredibly long time. In addition to Alan Wake, which I’ve been debating getting for ages, I’m most looking forward to COD: BO Cold War. I really enjoy shooters and I just never got around to this one. Pretty stoked for these to show up.

If this holds out to be true I’m gonna say this is one of the best months (for me personally at least) in a VERY long time and maybe ever!

I really want to play this game but after all the bad to middling reviews, I can’t justify getting it until it’s deeply discounted. And at this point I may just wait until either the Gold Edition is on sale or the game AND SP are both on sale separately.

Hard pass. Not a fan of LeBron or his bad designs. Would rather have something PlayStation related if at all.

I’m traveling this weekend so I’m not gonna get a chance to play much but once I get back to Atlanta later today I’ll download KILLZONE: Liberation for free and play that and I may also pick up Evil West in the current PS Store sale.

@NinjaNicky I’m a pretty hardcore trophy hunter and platinum pretty much everything I play, if not get 100% completion on the trophy stack, DLC included. I can only speak for myself, but I just enjoy having tasks and things to do within the game that I might not normally shoot for or experience and it helps me get the most out of my purchases. It also extends the value of the game in some cases (sometimes unnecessarily so) and, it feeds my obsessive / compulsive nature. 😂😂😂. Bottom line it’s just become something I enjoy doing with my gaming. Hope that helps answer your question!

Glad to see this got trophy support! I might just end up playing this because of that. Gives me hope that if RESISTANCE: Retribution ever lands on PS Premium it will hopefully have trophies too

KILLZONE: Liberation has trophies (and pretty easy ones at that as far as I can tell) so it looks like that will be the next game I play!

Shamefully,, I bought the Season Pass for this underwhelming game so I’ll play through this story DLC. But everything else that’s been released for it has been a total waste of $$ IMHO…..

That’s nice. But since I still have my PS3, 4, 5 & Vita, until they drop RESISTANCE: Fall Of Man or Retribution WITH trophy support on PS Premium, I’ll stick w extra thank-you. The one caveat here is if KILLZONE: Liberation gets trophy support next week, they might get me there but that remains to be seen.

This looks great but man September and October are looking to be absolutely STACKED with (potentially) great game releases. Going to be a LOT of competition for my gaming dollars toward the end of the year!

I've already played it but Far Cry 6 was a solid return to form for the series. Probably the best since FC 3. If anyone likes those games and hasn't played it, it's a really solid entry, and that includes the DLC's for it as well. At least IMHO.....

I’ve had this on my watch list and there it shall remain. This definitely looks interesting. Hope the delays are worth it.
