I never played the original but this just looks amazingly good and I’ll absolutely play this at some point, but likely once the price drops or there’s a sale. I just can’t justify full price for games these days unless it’s something really special to me.

I wouldn’t say that I hate this game but I will say it in no way (art style, gameplay, etc) appeals to me and I’ll likely never play it. Just my tastes.

Still working my way through Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Chaotic Great Edition. Definitely fun and more of what you expect from Gearbox but I can’t seem to sit and sink more than a few hours at a time in it. Probably going to try the Lies of P demo out at some point too…..

There’s only 2 or 3 that I think are cool so that’s a pass for me. Some interesting designs for sure though!

@RaZieLDaNtE @playstation1995 When this drops if y'all want to co-op it, I'm down for that, time zones allowing. I'm always up for some good co-op on a fun game.

And yeah - Nioh is utterly fantastic as well! BTW, if y'all haven't tried Mortal Shell either, you need to check that one out for sure. There's a bit of a learning curve on it and it can be tough in spots, but both the base game and the roguelite DLC for it are also exceptionally good. That was another Soulslike that took me by surprise and I enjoyed every minute of it quite thoroughly!

I hadn’t heard of this until I saw it at SGF today and it definitely piqued my interest. Likely won’t buy until it’s on sale but provided it reviews well by critics and players alike, I’ll probably grab it at some point.

So incredibly stoked for this!!!!!! The first one was one of the biggest pleasant surprises in recent memory. I sank MANY, many hours into that game and loved every minute of it. Absolutely can’t wait for this!! As much as I’m dead set against pre-ordering games, I **might** make an exception here.

@Nepp67 That’s a real bummer to hear. A sequel to that game would have been fantastic! Oh well……..go figure and F EA!! LOL

Shadows Of The Damned wasn’t all that good IMHO but I loved ALICE: Madness Returns. THAT is what should get a remake. Just my 2 cents worth……

From what I've been reading about this game lately, this looks like it could be a sleeper hit for fans of the Soulsborne games. I know I'll end up playing this at some point.

I’ve had my eye on this since it was announced and I dig shooters so I’ll definitely end up playing this, but likely only after it’s gone on sale. I just can’t see paying $60-$70 for this.

I picked up Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Chaotic Great Edition in the Days of Play sale so I’m playing that now. $90 worth of content for $36 - I couldn’t resist.

@Northern_munkey I was actually thinking the same thing. Though I don’t know I can really justify that kind of expenditure for one game (so far). And that’s if it even translates well to VR.

Bulletstorm is so utterly amazing!!! Criminally overlooked, a damn shame there was never a sequel and this actually makes me debate getting a PSVR2............if there were actually a few more games for it I had any interest in.

Too much money for too small a catalog of games that interest me. I’ll wait. And by the time I’m ready grab one, PSVR3 will likely be close enough to wait for that. 😂

Seems to be a lot of people are quite happy with this month's selections, but unfortunately not I. Typical garbage month as far as I'm concerned. To each their own, for sure.....

Always hopeful that some of the games on my wishlist go on sale, but we shall see. Will more than likely take advantage of the 25% off to renew my PS Extra subscription, regardless. I’d be crazy not to.

Still playing through the DLC for Mortal Shell as I’m really enjoying it. Not sure if I’m going to 100% it or not, but until there’s a sale on something on my wish list it will keep me busy and satisfied.

@MFTWrecks I’m a HUGE fan of the Resistance series so I’d be all for having that come back, for SURE!! Killzone too - that was a great series as well. But there’s no denying that there’s a MASSIVE appeal and market for a ‘militaristic’ FPS, along the lines of COD, which neither of those series would really fill. I’ve never played SOCOM or MAG so I can’t comment on those. I just think they could come up with something altogether new and appealing.

Riiiiiiight. They’ll take COD away from Sony as soon as they can. Make no mistake - that’s what this whole purchase was about to begin with. If I were Sony, I’d get busy (like a year ago!) on creating a new military FPS franchise to compete w COD and make it typical Sony exclusive quality good.

There’s over half a year to go and a LOT of games coming out that we have yet to see much of. I like their confidence but let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.

I know many of these are multi-platform so hopefully some make an appearance at the Summer Games Show, but still……. what a mostly LAME show!

It would definitely be good to hear SOMETHING regarding where they’re at with this title, but I really hope they just take their time with it and don’t release it until it’s TRULY ready. As eager as I am for it, I can wait…..

I’m guessing one of these titles will be a Sony exclusive FPS to fill the hole that could be made if COD ever moves off the platform due to the MS purchase of Activision. Doing so sooner rather than later will give them time to gain space in their consumer base’s mind and to hone said title to the liking of the fan base. Just a guess but I dot think I’m going too far out on a limb with it.

Still working through Mortal Shell. I’m now doing the ‘no hit’ playthrough where so much as one hit from anything will kill you. Not impossible, but definitely a PITA. Pretty good game though. Especially considering it was made by only 4 people.

@Northern_munkey Agreed. That was my biggest issue with the mode. They just couldn’t get anything right about that game for a LOOOOONG time.

@RawnDawn Couldn't agree more. Portal was the lone bright spot in the flaming dumpster fire that was 2042 but it also wasn't without it's issues. If they really hone it and flesh it out a little better that could be the selling point of any future games alone.

Glad someone has confidence in the franchise because after V and 2042, I have NONE. Nor will I ever buy another BF game again until 1) it's been reviewed solidly and positively by the general player base & 2) it's on sale.

I picked up Mortal Shell enhanced edition off of PS Extra and I’m really enjoying it. It’s scratching that FromSoft itch after I just got done playing Elden Ring and while I’m waiting for the DLC.

***SIGH*** Zombies??? Give me a break. I was never a fan of them being in a militaristic shooter game to begin with - always thought they could be their own game - but the lack of them and the inclusion of Spec Ops was what always elevated the Modern Warfare series for me above all the others. Now they're gonna stick 'em in MW3 when they've never been in a MW game before?? FAAAAAIL!!!!

I came in at the PS3 as my first console, but the PS1 intro is absolutely undeniable and SOLID. Best they've ever done. Everything else seems weak by comparison. But I LOVED the customizable backgrounds of the PS4. REALLY wish they'd bring that back for PS5.

I'd much rather see a Bloodborne 2 than a remaster of a one generation old game for the sake of soemthing as arbitrary as an add'l 30fps. If we're gonna talk games or series in DESPERATE need of remake, how about the Resistance series? Man, I'd LOOOOOVE to see those get remade and upgraded to today's standards, MP and all.....

I’ve had my eye on Evil West for a while now but I’m thinking $42 is still too expensive. I may just stick with something in the PS+ Extra catalog like Mortal Shell or The Surge 2.

I get the rating system but it’s ridiculous that many of these games are actually originally PS4 games that simply got an upgrade of some sort. What about the actual best native PS5 games?

I’m waiting for a steep discount to this game before I even touch it and then we’ll see about the DLC. If I do end up going for the DLC at some point, that too will be at a discount.

@MoorePs4 I was actually thinking pretty much the same thing. And I’d love to see it too. FPS games are one of my favorite genre in gaming and I’d love to see what Sony could come up with along the lines of a military FPS. heck, I’d even settle for a revived Killzone or even better RESISTANCE!

Both GHOSTWIRE: Tokyo and Gotham Knights got free DLC updates recently so I’m plugging away on those. Both are actually quite fun and ‘free’ is the best price possible so, win / win there!

I’ll definitely be going back for these trophies. This game got a very undeserved bad rap. It was actually quite fun. It wasn’t at the level of the Arkham games but it wasn’t far off either. And in light of what the upcoming Suicide Squad game looks like, Gotham Knights is gonna be a LOT closer to the Arkham games than that is (if that’s what you’re looking for).

I love the From Software formula so I’m all in on more games from them and more often!

I just finished it this week so I’m itching for more. What a fantastic game and quite possibly the best FromSoft has ever done!

Since I personally can’t stand racing games, I’ll just say this is one of the worst selection of offerings I’ve seen in a while and leave it at that.

I'll get around to this at some point. Likely when it's on sale. The base game was absolutely GORGEOUS with tons to do in it, but for whatever reason, I just wasn't blown away with it like so many others seem to be. I thought it was good but not great. And after 2 hours into the story I was button mashing through the dialogue like I was in a hack n' slash.
