Re: The Order: 1886 Dev Ready at Dawn to Close After VR Stint

I was one of the few that rated the order. Loved the setting, graphics and the fact it didn’t feel bloated like many games these days.

Quality over quantity every time for me and this news is a shame. Reckon they could have done well for Sony if they’d bought them.

Re: PlayStation Likely to Go All-Digital By PS7, Analyst Predicts

That will be the day consumers lose out once again. There will be no retailer competition and therefore price wars between them plus we’ll lose the option to resell and recoup some of the investment if we want to.

Yes digital obviously has some benefits but it mostly is beneficial to the company’s selling the goods.

Re: Stellar Blade (PS5) - A Stellar PS5 Debut Destined to Become a Fan Favourite

@Stonecold you do need to parry or dodge and I’m one that’s not great in games where you need to parry a lot. However I just mostly use the dodge button (circle) and have had a blast playing it fine.

There are upgrades to make both of these easier too.

Having said that I realise your comment is old so no doubt you’ve already played it and found out yourself by now!

Re: Sony Is Allegedly Pulling PSVR2 Funding, Report Claims

Maybe they’ve realised they have their work cut out to keep up with MS who now own so many studios. Highlighted possibly by their strong showcase last week.

Putting resources towards PS5 is probably a safer bet even if it sucks for those that bought into VR.

Re: Preview: Astro Bot on PS5 Could Be the Best 3D Platformer This Side of Nintendo

@get2sammyb for me the bigger levels in 64 beat the smaller ones in galaxy not to mention full 360 camera control in 64 and “proper” traditional Mario setting.

Also I doubt there will ever be a time in gaming again where the amazement of something like true 3D movement being felt for the first time will happen.

64 created the path for all to follow and even galaxy didn’t top it imo just because 64 was so revolutionary. I realise I have some super strong rose tinted glasses on though typing this! 🤣

Re: Criticised Star Wars Outlaws PS5 Demo Merely an 'Amuse-Bouche' of the Full Experience

Dodoo

It is likely unfair to base opinions on the full game via a 20 minute demo.

Stellar blade comes to mind. I wasn’t massively impressed after the demo but loved the full game.

Having said that I’d assume the dev team would want to show off the best of the game in a demo and that certainly doesn’t seemed to have happened with outlaws.

Let’s wait for the full reviews I guess.
