Been playing a ton of Far Cry 5 over the past couple of days so it's time to pop Ni no Kuni 2 back in and see how my kingdom is doing.
Between those 2 my time is pretty much accounted for but since I also got early access to Tera (yay for Twitch Prime) I might log on for a bit and continue leveling my character.
God of War and probably Yakuza 6 for me, even though I still haven't finished (or even started) Kiwami. I'm interested in Extinction but that's one that will be decided upon at a later date, depending on reviews.
Not bad I guess. I'll take Trackmania since I enjoyed the older ones on PC but I expected more of Mad Max. I'm not even sure now why I found it to be quite mediocre but I just remember it being a little tedious. The Arkham style combat was fun though.
Ni no Kuni 2, naturally, as well as carrying on with my playthrough of the brilliant but very technically flawed PS4 version of XCOM2 (War of the Chosen expansion included).
Despite starting the PS4 version of DMC1 last weekend, I'm enjoying XCOM 2: War of the Chosen way too much to be able to put any real time into anything else.
Ni No Kuni 2 may well end up destined to sit on my shelf for a while if I can't put XCOM 2 down this time next week.
I still haven't played through The Hidden Ones, since I only just finished getting the plat when that DLC released and I needed a break from it. This looks like it's going to be a whole lot of fun though. Count me in... once I'm done with Hidden Ones
I'll be jumping into the Tera beta, seeing how well it translates to console. I'll also be playing the DMC collection on PS4 since my copy just got delivered. Played these games to death on PS2, they're just so good (well, apart from the second, though I do like it more than most other people).
I don't even know. I want to play a mix of MHW, DBFZ and Pillars of Eternity but my depression is really weighing on me at the moment and I can't seem to stick with anything for more than 10 minutes.
I was planning on playing Kingdom Come but after having a village load everything but actual walls, doors etc, making it incredibly hard to feel my way around, I've decided to wait on a few more patches.
I'll no doubt be playing at least a little MHW and DB FighterZ, but I might also jump back in and try to finish the last few chapters of Yakuza 0. It's been a long time coming.
I kinda wish they'd work on the patches in quiet. I really want to play the game and it's right there on my PS4 but every time they say "this will be done in the next patch" I feel like I should hold off until it's added.
I'll admit that I am a little disappointed they didn't get Will Yun Lee to continue his role on the big screen. I'm still interested since I love the game but Will Yun Lee did a great job of voicing Wei.
It was a really good game that I had a lot of fun jumping into now and then. I love that Epic are giving refunds to everyone who ever spent money on it, even though it had a 2 year lifespan. Class act.
@Fight_Teza_Fight That's good advice, thanks. I played the first DLC mission last night and it was definitely a little harder than the last story missions had been. The boss was a special pain in the butt.
Finally managed to get my hands on a copy of Nier Automata so after finishing the initial ending I'm now in control of 9S.
I'm also back with Nioh. Farmed some stuff for trophies last night so now it's time to jump into the DLC. Oh and those 2 bosses at the same time missions can sod right off.
You know, these kinds of systems aren't inherently bad. I mean what's wrong with a grind heavy game having systems, like the experience point thing you mentioned, that persuade players to take breaks from playing? Back in WoWs heyday, when every player seemed to be addicted to it, people would be all for this kind of thing. However the problem is the fact that Bungie seem to like doing it behind the scenes, without the knowledge of their players. All they need to do is be honest but I guess that's too much to ask.
Spent the past 3 days feeling really ill so I'll be making the most of it and carrying on with Tales of Berseria, one of the most engrossing JRPGs I've played in some time.
I may also jump into Ghost Recon Wildlands. Been putting off finishing that one final province I need to get 100%.
Don't mention Nier Automata. I've been wanting to get a physical copy since everyone raves about how good it is, but it literally seems to be sold out in the UK. The only available copies are ridiculously overpriced ones. Disappointing.
As for my weekend, I'll be playing Tales of Berseria after finally managing to find a decently priced retail copy in a January sale. Really enjoying it so far. Much better than the disappointment that was Zestiria.
Finally decided to jump back into FFXIV this week, so I'll be spending my weekend working through the Heavensward main quests. Can't believe it's taken me this long to get back to it, I used to love the game.
Having finished and loved the main story of RE7 a couple days ago, I'm now working my way through the DLC. I also started Star Ocean: The Last Hope remaster last night, which I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into some more.
Other than those I'll also be carrying on with my daily bout of the ESO event.
Besides jumping into the MH World beta for a bit I'm continuing my Elex playthrough, carrying on with my replay of the first Evil Within (memory refresh before starting the sequel) and probably starting Dead Rising 4.
Didn't they do this with the first game, with Taken King or something? I seem to remember them locking certain strike playlists unless you had access to the expansions strikes.
I got Elex on Black Friday and while I won't deny that it's flawed (incredibly so in some respects) I've found myself hooked when it comes to quests and interacting with characters. I've always had a soft spot for flawed gems so I tend to enjoy Piranha Bytes games in general.
I also got The Evil Within 2 in the BF deals so I've decided to replay the first to freshen my memory before jumping into it.
I've built up quite a backlog with all the new releases and sales over the past couple of months, so I'll be spending Xmas working through that.
Like last Xmas I'll probably end up putting a ton of time into ESO as well. My fave game to just relax with and Xmas is a great time to be chilling out with a game I've been loving for the past few years.
I'll mostly be playing Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 with some Sims 4 on the side. I also need to jump into AC Origins at some point in order to get Sobek beaten before the event ends. I've got some other unfinished games but they'll no doubt stay that way until I get Lego Marvel finished at least.
At this rate we'll never get an Isolation followup. I'm a huge wuss when it comes to games with that style of suspenseful horror but Isolation is still one of the best games I've ever played. Desperate for a sequel right about now.
My sim was getting married; the grim reaper showed up during the reception and killed one of the guests. I pleaded for his life, the grim reaper resurrected him and then me and the reaper proceeded to chat and ended up friends.
I love the weirdness and unpredictability of this series, flaws and all.
Interested in Hidden Agenda and Planet of the Apes but considering how much I've spent in the past couple months and the Black Friday sale, I'll pass for now.
I'm really enjoying The Sims 4. It has flaws when compared to the third but it also improves on a bunch of stuff. Plus it seems to have got off lightly compared to the other EA release this week, lol.
Other than that I still have a few areas to work my way through in AC Origins and I couldn't resist ordering Outcast: Second Contact yesterday. I'm really looking forward to Amazon delivering that today because even though I only played the demo of the original release, and at a terrible framerate, I loved what I played and cursed my PC for ages because it couldn't run it properly.

Re: Weirdness: Lara Croft Barbie Looks Deep into Your Soul
Barbie, showing every little girl that they can be anything they want, including a young archaeologist turned hardened killer.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 207
More MHW without a doubt. I also got DB FighterZ on Wed but barely played it because of MHW stealing every spare moment. Need to get on that.

The Evil Within 2. Phenomenal game and I'm so glad to see it getting a sales boost.
Re: Is the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Sneaking to PS4?
Nowadays if there's a rumour of a game being remastered/ported to PS4 it's probably safer to assume it's true. Well except for Mass Effect

More and more Monster Hunter. My copy of Dynasty Warriors 9 was also delivered today so no doubt I'll start that at some point.
