@Beerheadgamer82 Baldur’s Gate 2 is largely seen as the pinnacle of isometric RPG’s, has sold oodles of copies and influenced countless games.
But BG 3 is the first to come to consoles, so on the hype of a long awaited sequel it’s reaching a bigger market, plus 2 came out when most gaming news came from magazines and heresay, so 3 is more the louder in popularity/hype at the moment I think.
Are we able to reliably and consistently put the console into sleep mode and bring it out without crashing yet? I still get cold sweats when I accidentally put it to sleep instead of off. That endless screen void haunts me.
Sounds like some Elder Scrolls-level hyperbole…until I remember Baldur’s Gate 2 varied wildly whether you went right or left out of the first dungeon, and carried that throughout the game. So if any game can make good on its promises, Baldur’s Gate 3 can.

Re: Larian Studios CEO Responds to ‘Raised Standards’ Concerns: ‘Standards Die Every Day'
Excellent ad placement on this article, I got:
“firing a shot across the bow of the AAA video game industry writ large. Speaking to PC Gamer, Vincke declared:
ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE: 70% OFF”
Can’t argue with that logic.

@Northern_munkey asking for time off? Nah, it’ll never catch on.

Re: The FTC Officially Files an Appeal Against Microsoft-Activision Court Victory
Good to see multi-billion corporations having to work for their money. Sort of.
They’ll win by throwing money at the problem, but hopefully they’ll have to throw enough at it they won’t be in a hurry to do it again.
It’s highlighted how much direct political clout Microsoft have though, particularly in the US. Suddenly Deus Ex doesn’t seem so far-fetched.

It’s going to be such a missed opportunity if it’s not on Bond Street
