@Gamer_Guy But that's a good figure for Xbox in a region that they have no terrortory. Last gen they would be lucky to shift 400/500 consoles in a week. To take nearly 7k in a week, and I think the highest I've seen is 11k a week is good for them.

I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully we get some more 1P reveals and announcements. We don't know anything else other than Spider Man 2 for next year. Yes, we have those third-party exclusives like Silent Hill 2, although don't think that has been confirmed yet for 2023?

Hopefully all brands bring to the table next year. Think it will be strong for both Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo next year.

@uptownsoul to be fair, at the time I wouldn't have trusted Microsoft with Marvel games. This was going back 2014/2015.

I guess the jury is still out whether they'd have done anything in 2021/2022 with Marvel, but Insomniac are superb with Marvel. I say let them do whatever Marvel IP they want to do after.

Xbox shafted by Square once again. It's a shame really, although I suppose one would argue that if you were a FF fan you would have been on Playstation from the start anyway

Played this a bit on Xbox when it first came out, quite an addictive game.

Some interesting predictions. Think we will get something from Kojima, think its more likely to be Death Stranding 2 more than Overdose, but we will see.

Hopefully we get some good announcements and reveals from both sides. Would like to see Sony announce some more bits, and would like to see a release date for Redfall/Starfield on Xbox side.

Think Elden Ring will take the GOTY over God of War.

So far I'm very underwhelmed with it. Such a shame.

One of Forza, Starfield or Redfall will not release in the first half of the year anyway. Suspect Starfield may end up getting pushed to later in the year

Other than Spider Man 2 and Wolverine, have they officially announced anything else first party? I can't think of anything else first party.

Perhaps it's just not there yet. I suspect maybe we will get something SOP for Forspoken/Hogwarts Legacy in the new year, and then maybe a full showcase or something towards SGF/E3.

It's very hard, but it is not impossible re american acqusition of Japanese companies. Sony would find it a ton lot easier than Microsoft would. Anyway, out of the Japanese companies I would have said Sega was more likely MS's target.

Suspect Japan is their next target after ABK so will be very interesting

Be an interesting one re acquisition - Always thought Sony will acquire at some stage, but at this point given most of Square's games are exclusive to Playstation anyway, not sure how much it would be worthwhile

I guess this is where playing on the different consoles comes into play, so the allegiance doesn't ally anywhere as they both offer great games, but it has been hilarious to watch, and also read. That Sony response to the CMA makes for some very interesting reading
