@ATaco - Honestly the people who get upset over a white person playing a black person OR a black person playing a white person OR anything similar, are already such a small minority of Karens that I don't know why people even acknowledge them or give them the time of day.
I mean did anyone truly care that Apu or Carl from The Simpsons were played by white people? Same for Cleveland from Family Guy? Kevin Michael Richardson; a very talented voce actor, he's black and has played many white characters across every medium, and no one cared, but now? It's considered racist for some stupid reason, hell Doctor's & Dieticians can't even say 'fat' or 'overweight' without fearing they may lose their job, I heard a female teacher lost her job because she refused to play along with a student who identified as a cat... I don't know, too many snowflakes these days.

Re: FPS Far Cry 5 Upgraded to 60fps with PS5 Patch

JustPlainLoco

Been thinking about going back and replaying Far Cry 5 the last few weeks, honestly Far Cry 5 was such a great game (I feel the same way about Far Cry New Dawn too), I don't entirely understand why people disliked it (Same goes for Far Cry New Dawn), I thought it had a pretty compelling story, four great villains and I really liked the supporting cast of characters, though I wish they got more screentime, and Dan Romer; the legend that created that incredible When the Morning Light Shines In theme that sometimes plays when viewing the map, that guy deserves his own special mention, I LOVE that music.
Though I HATED that they patched the Meat Bait exploit, you used to be able to buy Meat Bait, but Ubisoft patched it so people couldn't use it to farm easy money from Bison pelts.

Re: Dead Island 2 Is 'Around 20 Hours' Long, Says Dambuster Studios

JustPlainLoco

On average it took 18 hours and 36 minutes to complete the main story of the first Dead Island, plus an additional 10 hours if you included Side Missions & Collectibles. So the way I'm reading this is that Dead Island 2 will be relatively the same length as the first Dead Island, I'm cool with that either way, I already know I'm going to devote a lot of time to this game, hell I spent so many hours in the first game just looting them backpacks outside the Resort Hotel.

Re: Funko Pop Tossing Over $30 Million Worth of Stock into a Landfill

JustPlainLoco

I was obsessed with Funko POPS 5-6 years ago, now I only buy Spider-Man POPS, a handful of very specific Disney POPS like Stitch, WALL.E, Bill Cipher & Winnie the Pooh, and the occasional Video Game related POPS like Kratos, Sly Cooper, Monokuma & The Phantom Thieves (Persona 5)
My Aunt runs an Op Shop and I give her many of the Funko POPS I bought on a whim (years ago) for her to sell at her shop and apparently they sell quickly, so she makes a decent profit out of them.

Re: Xbox Execs Eager to Save Call of Duty Fans from PS5, PS4 Exclusive Perks

JustPlainLoco

@BAMozzy - If Microsoft had any intention of keeping COD on PlayStation, they wouldn't be offering them a 10 year deal, they would have written that 'COD will remain on PlayStation' into the contract as a condition of being acquired. Bungie's current and future projects remaining multiplat was a condition that Bungie requested, thus it was written into the contract, so at least Sony was being transparent with their intentions, Xbox/MS on the other hand are all over the place with their mixed messaging and refusal to elaborate on their intentions, they pulled this exact same stunt with Bethesda.

Not to mention; there was nothing ever stopping Activision from putting COD on the Switch or other platforms, they simply chose not to, MS didn't have to acquire ABK to make that happen. Additionally; Nintendo, Steam & Nvidia were offered the same 10 year deal as PlayStation, so what's the plan? Put COD on Switch, build an audience and then what? "Oh yeah we know we've built an audience for COD on the Nintendo platform, but those 10 years are up sooooooooo yeah we've decided to remove COD from this platform due to (Insert BS excuse here), it's unfortunate that it must come to this, but we're thankful we able to reach more gamers... ciao!".

Re: Xbox Execs Eager to Save Call of Duty Fans from PS5, PS4 Exclusive Perks

@Friendly - Rockstar actually approached Microsoft first to strike a deal for GTA3 Timed Exclusivity on Xbox. However THEY (Xbox) pretty much turned them down because and I quote “I don’t think that game (GTA) is going to be able to make the transition from 2D to 3D” and so Rockstar went to PlayStation, and they signed a 2-year exclusivity deal. As for GTA Vice City & GTA San Andreas, only reason those games were made exclusive to the PS2 was largely thanks to the success of GTA3 on PS2.

Re: The Last of Us Co-Creator Sparks Developer Debate As He Declares Linear Games Are Easier to Make

JustPlainLoco

@Nem - I can see both sides of the argument, but I guess it really just depends on the game and the gamer, I mean give me an open-world zombie game like Dead Island, Dying Light, Days Gone or Dead-Rising and I'll absolutely lose myself in those games. Sure there are absolutely some open-world games that are exactly as you said, but there are a few open-world games that are in fact; great games, and while I admit grinding in games can be an issue, if done right, it might not even feel like a grind, but just another enjoyable part of the experience.
But again I guess it's just comes down to the game and the gamer.

Re: The Last of Us Co-Creator Sparks Developer Debate As He Declares Linear Games Are Easier to Make

JustPlainLoco

@motorik6 - Problem is that most gamers don't seem to want those linear experiences because they are of the belief that a game being linear automatically means the game's length will be short, and thus can't justify spending money on a short game.

Personally I like both Linear AND Lengthy more Open-World games, often after playing a lengthy game like say Spider-Man, Elden Ring, Days Gone, Persona 4/Persona 5, Far Cry 5 etc. the last thing I want to do is jump back into another lengthy game, I'll take a break and play something like Little Nightmares, Stray, Ratchet & Clank, Cuphead, Uncharted, Resident Evil, Resogun, or a Telltale Game, something I can play and finish in the span of 1-3 days, might play 2 or 3 of these types of games before I'm ready to jump into my next lengthy game.

I'm all for more Linear Experiences, but like I said; most people want those lengthier games that they can play for 60-70+ hours, because they need to feel like their money is 'well-spent', which can be a detrimental mindset to have because it can harm a Developers desire to make their game, I mean not every developer wants to make these big open lengthy games, most don't even have the funds or the capability of making those types of games, some Developers simply want to make these shorter more linear experiences, but knowing that such a game is unlikely to sell simply because most gamers have little-to-no variety in the games they play.

This is why it annoys me when certain individuals say "Urgh I want something new and different" but when presented with just such a game, they don't buy it, they don't play it, and they complain "Urgh I wish it was more like-" and then they wonder why most Developers don't want to take risks and create new unique experiences.

Re: Saints Row Sales Flop Forces Parent Company to Change Its Policy on New Games

JustPlainLoco

Saints Row 2 was truly something special, as much as I enjoyed GTA San Andreas, Saints Row 2 IMO was overall the better GTA experience. It's sad how hard Saints Row fell from grace. Saints Row the Third was fine, but the cracks were clearly starting to show, and it felt like it was trying to be more like Crackdown than Saints Row, and Saints Row 4 was pretty much a Crackdown knock-off masquerading as a Saints Row game.

Re: God of War Ragnarok Testers Weren't Bothered by Early Puzzle Spoilers

JustPlainLoco

Maybe it's just me but I never found it to be an issue because there were a handful of times where despite being given a hint, said hint didn't help, granted I suck at puzzles, and despite most puzzles being simple in design, there were some puzzles that really perplexed me and weirdly enough, the puzzles that really perplexed me, didn't provide me with a hint at all.

That being said; I like the idea of characters assisting you in figuring out a solution to a puzzle, you literally have 'The Smartest Man Alive' dangling from your waist. In a real life situation, if you were struggling to solve a puzzle, and you have friends with you, naturally they're not going to wait for you to solve the puzzle, they're going to be thinking of there own ways to solve the puzzle as well.

Mimir & Atreus staying silent while you/Kratos are trying to solve a puzzle would be unrealistic, especially if you/Kratos struggling to figure it out.

Re: Sony May Have Added Another First-Party Studio to Its Roster

JustPlainLoco

@JayJ - Bungie is literally the ONLY example, and they bought Bungie for their Talent AND their expertise in the GAAS model, if they bought Bungie just for the Destiny IP, I doubt they would have payed an additional $1.6 Billion Dollars to retain the Talent, plus there'd be no reason for them to invest in 10 GAAS games. They could have relied solely on the constant stream of revenue generated from Destiny, yet they not doing that.

Not saying Destiny didn't play a factor in the decision to acquire Bungie, and even if it did, that's literally one IP AND it isn't being used as leverage like Xbox is trying to do with COD, nor do Destiny or future projects from Bungie appear to be in jeopardy of not coming to competing platforms as that was written into the contract when they were acquired (Hard to say if that's true as far as Nintendo is concerned, but Destiny 2 supposedly is coming to Switch, so who knows).

Re: Dead Island 2 Release Date Brought Forward, Resurrects One Week Earlier on PS5, PS4

JustPlainLoco

Loved the first Dead Island despite it's numerous flaws, but I'm worried this new 'over-the-top' cheesy comedic tone is going to take away some of the magic that the first game captured quite well. I mean the first game had this constant uneasy atmosphere to it, I rarely felt at ease while playing, constantly looking over my shoulder, and just had this constant feeling of anxiety in the pit of my stomach, and I think the music played a large part in creating that uneasy atmosphere, and I enjoyed that feeling of never feeling safe.

So while I'm still looking forward to Dead Island 2, I'm worried this new tone may impact my enjoyment of the game, and there's nothing wrong with the 'over-the-top' tongue & cheek tone, it worked for Dead-Rising, but I don't think it fits in with Dead Island.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Hogwarts Legacy's Launch Week Sales Trump Elden Ring's in Massive Debut

JustPlainLoco

If anyone tells you that you're a bad person if you support Hogwarts Legacy because of JK Rowling's transphobic remarks then they better not be using Twitter, because last I checked, Twitter is owned by Elon Musk who has ALSO made some transphobic comments. So if you're someone using Twitter to bully/harass/attack anyone playing/supporting Hogwarts Legacy because of the things JK Rowling has said, just remember that by doing so, you are indirectly supporting Elon Musk's and his views just by using Twitter, thus making you the monster that you're those that buy/support Hogwarts Legacy.

I'm NOT defending what JK Rowling OR Elon Musk have said, just pointing out the hypocrisy of being against Hogwarts Legacy and those buying/playing/supporting it, but are also doing the exact same thing by using Twitter and probably don't even know it.

Buy what you want. Play what you want. Support what you want. Enjoy/Dislike what you want. But don't make people out to be monsters for doing any of these things, and NOT sharing or agreeing with your views/beliefs.

Re: Sony May Have Added Another First-Party Studio to Its Roster

JustPlainLoco

I believe the rumor is true, I mean why would PlayStation put out a job listing for a studio they don't own, I remember something similar happening with Insomniac Games & Bluepoint, PlayStation put out job listings on behalf of Insomniac Games 4-5 months before they were officially acquired, same thing happened 3-4 months before Bluepoint, I believe the job listing occurred a month before that accident 'Welcome to the Family' banner leak for both Bluepoint & Housemarque.

And considering Ballistic Moon are made-up of Supermassive Games & Quantic Dream talent, I think this would be a smart acquisition, Ballistic Moon could potentially fill that Supermassive & Quantic Dream void, plus it wouldn't be a very pricey acquisition. I hope there's a chance they could acquire Ember Lab soon too, Kena: Bridge of Spirits was a great game, pretty impressive considering it's their first ever attempt. It sounds like Ember Lab's is even working very closely with PlayStation on their next project, if all goes well, or if Sony like what they're seeing regarding their new project, I can see them acquiring Ember Lab (If they haven't already) like they did Haven Studio. I'm also confident they're going to acquire Deviation Games at some point too, I don't think it's a case of 'if' but rather 'when'.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 463

JustPlainLoco

Still chugging along through Persona 4 Golden, I'm on my 2nd playthrough, 130+ hours in, focused on completing as many Social Links as possible, but looks like I won't be able to complete Adachi, The Nurse & The Old Lady's Social Link until my 3rd Playthrough, whenever I decide to do that. I'm just about ready to move on to something else, like Forspoken, Hogwarts Legacy, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Persona 5 Strikers or FF& Crisis Core.

Unrelated but there's apparently a rumored 'leak' going around that PlayStation may have acquired a new Studio, a studio by the name of Ballistic Mooni, it's supposedly made-up of talent from Supermassive Games & Quantic Dreams, apparently there was a job listing from PlayStation (Apparently it's now taken down) for Music & Sound Design and it listed all First-Party Studios, but Ballistic Moon was listed among them, and it was the only non First-Party studio on the list. Apparently Ballistic Moon has partnered with PlayStation to create a New AAA Horror IP, but why would PlayStation be hiring for a studio they apparently do not own? However something similar actually happened 4-5 months before Insomniac Games & Bluepoint were acquired, can't be just a coincedence right?

Re: Bobby Kotick Says Sony Is 'Trying to Sabotage' Microsoft's Activision Bid

JustPlainLoco

@Rob_230 - The thing I personally like about PlayStation (Other than their incredible Story-Driven Single-Player games) is that they know when it's time to move from an IP and create something new, sure it sucks we have to say goodbye to an IP, but I appreciate the constant rotation of old & new IP's.

Insomniac Games went from Spyro the Dragon to Ratchet & Clank to Resistance to Sunset Overdrive to Spider-Man, Naughty Dog went from Crash Bandicoot to Jak & Daxter to Uncharted to The Last of Us, Sucker Punch went from Sly Cooper to Infamous to Ghost of Tsushima, and again yes it sucks we may never get a new Jak & Daxter or new Sly Cooper, but I would rather see them move on from a series BEFORE they st5agnate or potentially get worse with subsequent unnecessary entries, but if they DO decide to return to old IP's, I'm all for it IF they can make a great game out of it.

And sure there are many areas that PlayStation can improve upon, I've been saying for years they need a First-Party developed Fighting Game franchise of their own, and to fund & highlight more JRPG's, Bluepoint already said they would be all for a Legend of Dragoon Remake, and if enough people buy and support it, turn it into a franchise, that way they don't just have to rely on Square Enix with Final Fantasy.

But for that guy to claim Sony don't try or innovate, is simply ludicrous, apparently they aren't 'innovating' with VR, they aren't funding development of games via the China Hero Project, they aren't approaching Third-Party developers about reviving popular IP's like Silent Hill (Only reason Crash, Spyro & Persona even made a comeback), they assisting Third-Party developers develop games like Control & Calisto Protocol, they're trying to create more Multiplayer Games, even if I myself don't care for Multiplayer Games, the fact is they're trying. While I don't care about PS Plus Premium or services in general, they're there as an option, though they really need to step-up and overhaul the service by adding more PS1, PS2 & PS3 games.

So to claim PlayStation don't try or don't innovate is quite a silly claim to make, sure there's always room for improvement, but that applies to any company or business really.

Re: Bobby Kotick Says Sony Is 'Trying to Sabotage' Microsoft's Activision Bid

JustPlainLoco

@cragis0001 - Not really a fair comparison, Square Enix are not on the same level in terms of size & popularity, not to mention that if Sony were to acquire Square Enix AND choose to keep Square Enix games off of Xbox, they (Sony & Square Enix) would be more justified in doing so than Xbox with ABK, because Square Enix games don't particularly sell well on Xbox anyway, and would only need to provide sales numbers of past Final Fantasy games & Kingdom Hearts games AND point out that those games were also available on Gamepass and that there wasn't enough player engagement from Xbox Players to justify putting those games on Xbox. Whereas COD is HUGE on PlayStation (I'll never understand why), Sony makes a lot of money off of COD & a lot of people buy COD on PlayStation (Again I don't know why), combined with the fact that MS lied about Bethesda and how they wouldn't take games away from PlayStation, but once the deal went through they said Starfield, Redfall & Elder Scrolls 6 weren't coming to PlayStation, and that lie is a major reason why the ABK deal is under such scrutiny and could potentially NOT go through, and if they got away with taking games away from PlayStation with Bethesada, no reason not to suspect they won't lie and do the same with COD if they acquire ABK.

That's just what I think though, I don't care about COD at all, I'm more concerned about the fate of Crash & Spyro, I don't want them to meet the same fate as Banjo Kazooie & Conker, and under Xbox, there's a high probability of that happening.

Re: Bobby Kotick Says Sony Is 'Trying to Sabotage' Microsoft's Activision Bid

JustPlainLoco

If the deal doesn't go through, it's because Phil Spencer, Satya Nadella, Aaron Greenberg & Bobby Kotick can't seem to keep their mouths shut, it's like every time they speak on the ABK deal, they say something stupid or contradictory, that the FTC & CMA will likely use against them in blocking the deal.

I can see why Sony has been quiet lately and not answering calls from Activision, they trying not to say anything at all so that it can't be used against them, 'Silence is Golden' in this case, but I guess Phil, Satya, Aaron & Bobby didn't get that memo.

Re: Bobby Kotick Says Sony Is 'Trying to Sabotage' Microsoft's Activision Bid

JustPlainLoco

Oh please! Bobby ToeD@ck is only concerned about the payout he'll receive if the deal goes through, he don't give a damn what kind of impact this deal has on the Gaming Industry, be it positive or negative. And considering the type of scum he is, I truly hope he doesn't receive a dime of that payout money, because if he does, he's pretty much being rewarded for his disgusting actions.

Re: PS5 Fans Speculate Uncharted Tease in New Ad Campaign from Sony

JustPlainLoco

Both Uncharted & The Last of Us have a lot of untapped potential, I don't want to see either series fade into obscurity, but I would like future entries to focus on brand new characters with brand new stories, granted I'm all for seeing old characters return, but include them sparingly. The Last of Us especially, the Cordyceps outbreak impacted the entire world, let's see how it affected other people in different parts of the world, let's see how the mutation affected people in those parts of the world, let's see different types of Infected that require different tactics in order to kill them, the world of The Last of Us is filled with infinite potential.

Re: Motive Studio Is Keen on 'Exploring Dead Space More'

JustPlainLoco

EA better not interfere with Motive Studio on future Dead Space games, be it a Remake of Dead Space 2 or a brand new entry in the Dead Space series. EA are still on VERY thin ice with me after all the meddling they did with Dead Space 3, followed by what they did to Visceral Games.

Re: Activision Blizzard Exec Says Last of Us HBO Proves Microsoft Acquisition Should Go Ahead

JustPlainLoco

I fail to see how the success of The Last of Us TV Series corelates to why the ABK deal should go through, seems like a desperate attempt to grasp at straws.

Hypothetically speaking; imagine if the Halo TV Series was as successful and well-received as The Last of Us TV Series currently is, and The Last of Us TV Series was the one that wasn't as successful or well-received as the Halo TV Series currently is, and Sony used the Halo TV Series as a reason why the ABK deal SHOULDN'T go through, people would be looking at Sony like 'What the hell does that have to do with anything?'.

Re: TV Show Review: The Last Of Us (HBO) Episode 3 - Television At Its Finest

JustPlainLoco

While I really enjoyed this episode, I was a bit saddened that we didn't end up getting Joel & Ellie making their way through Bill's trap-riddled town or the hilarious back-and-forth between Ellie & Bill, but I guess it would have been incredibly difficult to pull off the entirety of the Bill's Town segment in just a 1-hour time frame.
Regardless the first 3 episodes have been fantastic so far, and I'm really looking forward to episode 4, I have a feeling the episode will end with Joel & Ellie meeting Henry & Sam, CAN'T WAIT!

Re: Bruce Straley Wasn't Credited in HBO's The Last of Us, Calls for Unionization

JustPlainLoco

I'm not entirely sure where I stand on this topic, I mean Bruce Straley didn't create the show so I get why he wasn't credited, but perhaps a 'Co-created by" or 'Special Thanks' mention wouldn't have been too much to ask for.

Reminds me of the behind-the-scenes issues with AMC The Walking Dead during Season 2, when the Showrunner Frank Darabont was fired, but despite being fired, he was still credited with the show's creation during the opening credits in every episode going forward, however Bruce Straley had no involvement with The Last of Us show whatsoever.

Also I don't believe Amy Hennig was credited in the Uncharted movie, nor Uncharted 4 (I could be wrong though), and David Jaffe isn't credited for God of War 2018 or God of War Ragnarok, whether or not they should is debatable, but it's not like their past contributions were scrubbed from past games, like what Konami did to Kojima with Metal Gear Solid V, and Konami will likely try to credit Kojima as little as possible in any subsequent remakes, remasters or sequels.

Many others here have already addressed this, but I agree with them, the hate for Neil Druckman continues to get from some of you is borderline weird, I swear some of you act like he was caught kicking puppies or pushing old folks into oncoming traffic. It's weird especially considering there are far worse legitimately evil people inside EA, Activision & Konami, but somehow ya'll act like Neil Druckman is somehow worse? It all just seems like petty hate from those that hated The Last of Us Part 2 and nothing else, The Last of Us Part 2 wasn't even that bad a game, but apparently you're not allowed to say anything good about The Last of Us Part 2 without being verbally abused and branded as 'woke' or 'SJW' or some such made-up nonsense. Imagine if I did that to everyone who praises The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2, games I despise but also don't have anything against those that happen to like/love those games.

Re: Persona 4 Golden (PS4) - An Utterly Engrossing RPG, and That's the Truth

JustPlainLoco

@Juanalf - Likely it's a timed exclusivity thing, and they'll update the PS version for free at a later date, however if enough people on PS buy the game, that might force ATLUS to come to their senses and add the 4k 120fps patch sooner than later.
Then again I don't mind either way, 1080p at 60fps is perfectly fine, and considering how dated P4G already looks, 4K ain't going to exactly make it look much better, and 120fps doesn't seem that necessary for a turn-based game like this, but to each their own I guess.

Re: Persona 4 Golden (PS4) - An Utterly Engrossing RPG, and That's the Truth

JustPlainLoco

Easily one of my favorite games of all time, easily makes my top 10 games of all time. It has a great story, amazing characters, a god-tier soundtrack (I want 'Snowflakes to be played at my funeral), the combat is simple turn-based affairs but still manages to be fun, the dungeon design probably being the only 'weak' aspect of the game, especially after experiencing how great dungeons can be from having played Persona 5 & Persona 5 Royal, but I won't hold that against Persona 4 Golden, originally made with the PS2's limitations in mind, but still ending up a damn fine game.

I remember getting Persona 4 Golden on New Years Eve, which happens to be my birthday, I knew literally nothing about this game, I had never heard of the Persona series, my Mum had simply bought it on a whim, and my Mum has a surprisingly good track record for buying games that always end up being good or great games.

Anyway on the first day of the New Year, I decided to play it... and I swear as soon as I witnessed that incredible 'Shadow World' opening intro video, I knew I was in for something truly special, not since Kingdom Hearts 2 had I felt that feeling. 3 months... 3 MONTHS I was playing and replaying Persona 4 Golden and nothing else, I was absolutely engrossed into this game, I genuinely did not want my time in Inaba to ever come to an end. I always tear up when I'm nearing the end of the game and they hit me with the 'Snowflakes' music, I absolutely love that theme, the entire soundtrack is phenomenal, but 'Shadow World', 'Heaven' and 'Snowflakes' will always hold a special place in my heart.

Oh and Kanji Tatsumi is the best Persona 4 character, I will 100% die on that hill.

Re: Rumour: Sci-Fi RPG from Sony Supposedly Leaked

JustPlainLoco

No doubt XDev is providing support for the lead studio behind this project, if I had to guess, it's either Santa Monica Studios or Naughty Dog. Leaning more toward Santa Monica Studios since I believe Cory Barlog expressed interest in creating a Sci-Fi Action Adventure Game shortly after the release of God of War in 2018.

XDev has collaborated with multiple First-Party, Second-Party & Third-Party Studios on multiple projects, including:
> Heavenly Sword - Ninja Theory
> Heavy Rain - Quantic Dream
> Beyond Two Souls - Quantic Dream
> Detroit Become Human - Quantic Dream
> Until Dawn - Supermassive Games
> The Impatient - Supermassive Games
> LittleBigPlanet - Media Molecule

> Sackboy A Big Adventure - Sumo Digital
> Matterfall - Housemarque
> Returnal - Housemarque
> Destruction All-Stars - Lucid Games
> Death Stranding Director's Cut - Kojima Productions
> Stellar Blade - Shift Up
> Rise of the Ronin - Team Ninja
NOT CONFIRMED: But I believe they assisted with The Last of Us Part 1 Remake

Re: Mini Review: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS5) - A Marginal Upgrade on Backwards Compatibility

Only issue I had, and I believe it relates to every version of the game, is that it has very bad lip-sync audio issues during cutscenes. I've played it on PS4 & PS5, and I was watching my friend play this game on PC just the other day, and all 3 versions had this issue from time-to-time, not every cutscene though, but I encountered it 4 times during my playthrough on PS5 earlier this year, surprised the issue hasn't been fixed yet.

Re: Naughty Dog Structuring Next Major PS5 Project 'More Like a TV Show'

JustPlainLoco

@trev666 - True, you're not wrong, but having that experience alone is certainly better than not having it. Yeah there's no denying Sony has put out some absolute garbage movies, but I would argue PlayStation creates better more compelling stories with even greater well-written characters than Sony's own movie division.
Xbox's TV TV TV push was unnecessary and a rather 'out-of-the-blue' novelty that no gamer was even asking for, but ultimately it was harmless, it's the DRM/Always Online nonsense that really damaged Xbox's reputation.
