Judgement & Persona 5 Royal, both are the PS5 versions. First time ever playing Judgement, but I wanted to replay Persona 5 Royal on PS5 in preparation for P3P & P4G in January.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to the entire Push Square Community.
@Haruki_NLI - Not surprised very few people ran out to buy Persona 5 Royal on PS5, I'm currently playing it and a bit of Judgement right now, and I don't see much if any improvement, I've heard it runs best on PS5, but having played Persona 5 Royal on PS4 a year ago and now playing it on PS5, I'm not noticing a difference, supposedly the PS4 version runs at 30fps & the PS5 version is 60fps, but I'm not noticing any difference.
So yeah there really isn't much of a reason to buy Persona 5 Royal, unless you're someone like me who buys most games and sometimes multiple times, like I did for Persona 5 Royal on PS4, PS5 & Switch, or Ni No Kuni, Dragon Quest 11 S & Cuphead on PS4 & Switch.
Can't wait to replay Ragnarok fully decked out. Though I wonder if that means the first fight with Thor will let me fight him with the Blades of Chaos & (Other Weapon)? If so I wonder if Thor will acknowledge I have the Blades of Chaos with me? Probably not but that would be a cool detail to include.
@somnambulance - I thought the level design & gameplay for the first game was mostly great, but in the 7 hours I've played of A Plague Tale Requiem, yeah the level design is indeed questionable. Especially the more open areas swarming with enemies and you have to stealth your way through, which normally wouldn't be an issue if the game gave you more means of sneaking by, incapacitating enemies or simply distracting them, I feel like the first game gave you the right tools at the right time, but early on in Requiem I felt like I often just had to wing it and hope for the best because I didn't have any of the early-game equipment that early game Innocence gave you. And I'm not a big fan of how much this game forces you into combat scenarios, where you have no choice but to fight, the first game only forced you into combat scenarios only a handful of times and gave you plenty of time to plan your move, but Requiem plays the combat scenarios too fast with little to no time to plan your move, as a result I died an absurd amount of times in some sections where I really shouldn't have.
@arra1213 - So we can own the game and replay it whenever we want versus renting a game and then praying it's still in the service next time we get the urge to replay it?
@somnambulance - I asked myself many of these same questions about A Plague Tale: Innocence, which was an incredible game, and ended up being my personal GOTY back in 2019, but barely anybody seemed to play it or even talks about, which is a damn shame because it truly deserves more love and attention than it currently gets.
I still need to finish A Plagues Tale Requiem, my right Hearing Aid malfunctioned the day after I started playing it, took 4 weeks to repair, and I didn't want to play a heavily story-driven game with just one Hearing Aid, especially considering the speech volume was a tad low already. Then by the time my broken Hearing Aid was fixed & returned, I was lost in God of War Ragnarok which had amazing Accessibility Options that made playing with just one Hearing Aid a non-issue. I really have to applaud Sony/PlayStation and all their First-Party Studios for leading the charge with these fantastic life-changing Accessibility Options, really helps someone like me who has both Eyesight & Hearing Impairments.
@DaveSimonH - But again I ask; why does it matter? Games being bundled with consoles/systems is nothing new. Not to mention; Horizon Zero Dawn sold 10 million copies in just one year, and it was never bundled with the PS4 until 2 years after it was released when sales had peaked, and when HZD was bundled with the PS4, it was bundled alongside God of War & Spider-Man or one of those two games and one Third-Party title.
So whether or not Horizon Forbidden West was bundled with the PS5 or not, it was always going to do big numbers just as the first game did, and a lot of people who wanted a PS5 likely already wanted to play Horizon Forbidden West anyway, so bundling the PS5 with Horizon Forbidden West was a good move, and those who did not want HFW can simply sell the game, trade it in or give it to a friend, crisis averted.
Not to mention; the PS5 with HFW Bundles were still in limited supply, it likely bumped up sales by maybe 3-5 million copies, but again; does it really matter? Because so far I've yet to see a single legitimate reason why HFW or ANY game for that matter being bundled with a new console/system is a bad thing.
How DARE Sony bundle Horizon Forbidden West with a PS5! How DARE they give me a great game to go along with my brand new PS5! Have they no shame!!! Sound like some dumbsh@t a Karen would complain about, sadly there looks to be a few Karens in this very comment section.
Seriously why does it even matter whether HFW sales can be attributed to it being bundled with the PS5? Who even cares if that even is the case? And WHY does it even matter? Be thankful you got a game bundled with your PS5.
We probably won't learn til February of next year how many copies were sold, but if I had to guess; it had to have sold anywhere from 8-15 million copies, and I'm quite curious how well God of War Ragnarok will have sold by November of next year, selling 5.1 million copies in just one week is really impressive, especially considering that was just physical sales.
@nessisonett - IMO 'Sad Dad Kratos' is at least far more interesting and relatable than pi$$ed-off revenge-fueled mortal-turned-god. And yes I know I oversimplified OG Kratos, but considering you oversimplified 2018's God of War just being 'Sad Dad Kratos', it's all fair game.
@rjejr - I get where you're coming from, and you're not wrong about the idea of completely omitting the original trilogy in favor of telling a God of War 2018 story, they really shouldn't skip over what happened to the Greek Pantheon, since those events are crucial to Kratos's development as a character.
However regarding your opinion on the original God of War trilogy compared to God of War 2018, I'm the opposite, while I have played & completed God of War 1, 2 & 3, and while they are good games, I couldn't relate to Kratos as a character, sure he's a bada$$, but essentially his character boiled down to pi$$ed-off mortal-turned-god fueled by anger & revenge, not exactly what I would call an interesting or even relatable character. Also Hack-and-Slash games are very hit or miss for me, some I like, most I do not, the only reason I even played God of War 1, 2 & 3 was because I had a very persistent friend who was a massive fan of God of War, and he would constantly annoy me until I inevitably played them.
God of War 2018 was exactly the direction I think I always wanted the series to go. No longer were the characters all one-dimensional, which was honestly my biggest issue with past games, as I can overlook the Hack-and-Slash gameplay if the story & characters are well-written, but Santa Monica Studios made a conscious effort to give layers to these characters, Kratos especially was significantly improved and in turn; became more relatable as a character. This is a Kratos with experience, this is a Kratos who has wised up, this is a Kratos who recognizes that everything he did for the sake of revenge was wrong, Kratos has learned from his mistakes, he realizes his actions had consequences, ultimately he accepts that he is a monster but strives to be better. Kratos carrying the weight of his actions from past games on this shoulder, all the while trying to be a good father, and doing everything in his power to ensure Atreus does not go down the same self-destructing path that he once did, that at least to me; instantly makes Kratos a far better character than he ever was before God of War 2018. And the same can be said for all the new characters introduced in God of War 2018 & God of War Ragnarok, I don't think there was a single weak link in this incredible cast of characters.
I still need to play Sonic Frontiers, but I'm currently wrapped up playing a different SEGA game, finally decided to play Judgement for the first time after holding off on playing it for so long.
Pretty great list, it had a bit of everything My Top 5 would have to be: 1. God of War Ragnarok 2. The Last of Us Remake 3. A Plague Tale Requiem 4. Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4/PS5) 5. Dreamlight Valley Honorable Mentions: The Quarry, Dying Light 2, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Cuphead DLC, Ghostwire Tokyo, Stray, Sifu & TMNT Shredder's Revenge
YES I know Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana released back in 2016, but I only FINALLY got my hands on a physical copy on PS4 (and again on PS5 just 3 days ago), because finding a decently priced brand new copy was damn near impossible, and since the PS5 version did release this year... I'm counting Ys 8 as a 2022 game (I'm aware I'm cheating but Ys 8 deserves the love).
My Top 10 most anticipated games (2023 has too many games for just a Top 5) 1. Spider-Man 2 2. Resident Evil 4 Remake 3. Persona 4 Golden 4. Silent Hill 2 Remake 5. Star Wars Jedi Survivor 6. Dead Space Remake 7. Forspoken 8. Hogwarts Legacy 9. Final Fantasy 16 10. Dead Island 2 Honorable Mentions: Atomic Heart, Wild Hearts, Persona 3 Portable, Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC & Tales of Symphonia Remastered
Gee the amount of people complaining about this Peter Parker vs Miles Morales nonsense, both have their fanbases, and there's nothing wrong with Insomniac Games wanting to include both versions of Spider-Man for their own original stories. BTW Miles Morales a sidekick? Yeah sure, a 'sidekick' who happens to be stronger than Peter Parker? Stronger than the OG? Sure there's something to be said about experience which Peter certainly has over Miles... doesn't change the fact that Miles is the strongest between the two, not bad for a 'sidekick'.
Could simply be Insomniac Games hyping up the new upcoming trailer for the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie which is set to drop on December 13th.
Keep in mind; Spider-Man 2 AND Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse are both scheduled for 2023, this alignment should feel very familiar, why?... Marvel's Spider-Man... Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse... Avengers Infinity War... all released in 2018, and 2018 was a HUGE year for Spider-Man because of that. Don't be surprised if Sony wants Spider-Man 2 & Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to release in 2023 to reproduce the same massive success that Spider-Man saw in 2018.
Close to finishing Callisto Protocol, and after a 4-month long hiatus from Ys 8, I just need to finish the final chapter and then I might jump back into Dreamlight Valley because of the Toy Story & Stitch update. By the time I'm done with all that, Crisis Core Final Fantasy Reunion will have released.
Best VGA Show in a long time, SO MANY great announcements, the pacing was mostly great (The 3 minute-long Commercial breaks and multiple Gamepass Commercials were completely unnecessary) and everyone deserved the Awards they got, and everyone who won an Award or was nominated, everyone should be damn proud of themselves.
Only category I disagreed with was Best Art Direction, Horizon Forbidden West should have won that one with ease.
Whether Sony/PlayStation does a State of Play or a PlayStation Showcase, ya'll won't be satisfied, you never are. People b@tch and moan when Sony/PlayStation announces a slew of great games that are 2-3 years away, and people b@tch and moan when Sony/PlayStation does a small State of Play/PlayStation Showcase that show us what's coming that year. People here acting like there are no games to look forward to in 2023, sure there's not a lot of First-Party Titles, but there's Forspoken, Final Fantasy 16, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Factions, Spider-Man 2, Helldivers 2, Little Devil Inside, Tchia, Horizon: Call of the Mountain PSVR2 and a slew of PSVR2 Titles. I would understand people's frustrations if there were no games to look forward to, but fact of the matter is, there IS content to look forward to in 2023.
After Rocksteady did such a phenomenal job with the Batman Arkham Games, I would love to see them tackle the Flash, Green Arrow, Superman or the Teen Titans. I'm very VERY wary of their Suicide Squad game, everything I've seen so far is setting off alarm bells, but not only that but... why the Suicide Squad?
Insomniac Games & Rocksteady had the right idea with the Spider-Man/Miles Morales games & the Batman Arkham games, both are loosely based off and inspired by popular Comics & TV Shows, but these games are wholly original in terms of stories & character origins.
However most Movie Tie-Ins just do not work, as they're often severely limited from a creativity standpoint, often forced to abide by the script of the movie with very little room for experimentation, yet we've seen just how great a game based on a beloved IP can be when NOT restricted by it's movie counterpart, Mad Max, Middle-Earth Shadow of Mordor, Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, Alien Isolation, many of the Telltale Games, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, the Batman Arkham games, Insomniac's Spider-Man & Miles Morales and I've no doubt Hogwarts Legacy will be another great game too.
@NomNom - I'd be surprised if Sony doesn't acquire Square Enix. Sony & Square Enix have been tight since PlayStation's inception, and Sony invested heavily into them when they were Squaresoft, and whenever Square Enix makes a few mistakes or releases a few poorly performing games, Sony/PlayStation always seems to swoop in to help them out. However if Sony DOES acquire Square Enix, already established titles should remain Multiplatform, but if Square Enix decides to create any New IP's, then making them Exclusive to PlayStation & PC is fair game.
I would think that the success of PlayStation came down to great Third-Party support and it's impressive variety of games, from Crash Bandicoot, to Spyro the Dragon, to Ape Escape, to Twisted Metal, to Gran Turismo, to Metal Gear Solid, to Silent Hill, to Final Fantasy, to Resident Evil, to Tekken, to Mortal Kombat, to Tomb Raider, to MediEvil, to PaRappa the Rapper, to Tomba, to Croc, to Legacy of Kain, to Legend of Dragoon, to Dragon Quest, and many MANY more games.
@KaijuKaiser - The more I see of Lies of P, the more I realize how similar it appears to be to Steelrising, both of which clearly took inspiration from the London Gothic Architecture that Bloodborne utilized, but other than that and the fact that they're both Soulslike games, I think that's where the similarities end. Lies of P is more comparable to Steelrising than it is to Bloodborne, even down to who you play as and how you move and fight, in Steelrising you're a Marionette Automaton, in Lies of P you play as a Mechanical Puppet.
Hopefully Lies of P gets a physical release at launch or sometime down the road. Lies of P looks incredible, my only concern is that I hope it don't play too similar to Steelrising, because after playing Steelrising, I couldn't help but realize how similar Lies of P & Steelrising were on a surface-level perspective.
Not surprised Sony played a role in bringing The Calisto Protocol to life, Resident Evil Village used Sony's Motion Capture Studio and Remedy's Control used Guerrilla Game's Decima Engine and Guerrilla Games also helped make the game as well, according to Remedy themselves.
Hate to burst anybody's bubble, while I do think Striking Distance Studios would be a great acquisition for Sony/PlayStation, they're already owned by Parent Company KRAFTON, and the only real noteworthy game under their belt is PUBG. So Sony/PlayStation would have to acquire KRAFTON to get Striking Distance Studios, and I can't see them wanting KRAFTON for one great studio and the PUBG IP.
@AG_Awesome - I don't think you're going to find a written review or review via YouTube that's gonna do a review for 100+ games, the best I could find were videos showing about 5 seconds of every game back-to-back
@2here2there @belmont @Uncharted2007 - Thanks for the advice & recommendations, and a special thanks to @2here2there for the link, I now know what I need to do, I might soon finally be able to boot up my SEGA Master System now
@Eldritch - The reason is because we live in a day and age where society believes everyone needs to feel like a winner. When I was young, if you weren't given an award, it meant you didn't work hard enough to earn it, so you would push yourself and work harder until you earned that award, but nowadays they practically hand out awards like candy because of this 'Everyone is a Winner' mentality.
I mean you see just how many people complain about games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro etc. not having a difficulty mode? People always use the same excuse that "Every game should have a Difficulty Mode because it means more people can/will play their games", instead of just accepting the fact that these games weren't made for them. If I played a difficult game in my day and I couldn't beat it, then I would need to get better OR accept I couldn't beat it and simply move on to a different game. There will always be people who can't seem to understand that there are certain games made for certain gamers.
Wish SEGA would do a SEGA Master System Anniversary Collection, that was my first console and it had some truly fun games on it, I still have my SEGA Master System but the cables are not compatible with Modern TV's, so I can't even go back and play it
@itsfoz - I honestly don't know if we're ever going to get a Bully Sequel, the rumors suggest that a Red Dead Redemption Remaster/Remake & Bully 2 were being worked on before being shelved to focus all efforts on GTA6, I mean really? Rockstar Games is made up of 2000 employees, they could have 4-5 separate teams each working on a different project, but NOPE GTA6 is all that matters.
The news dropped right as I was about to go to sleep for the night, truly a sad day, to me; Kevin Conroy was truly a Legend, and he'll always be my Batman, as Kevin Conroy himself said "I am vengeance! I am the night! I am Batman!" RIP Kevin Conroy; the one and only Dark Knight
God of War 2018 was already tied for my 3rd or 4th favorite game of all time, I constantly interchange between it and Bloodborne, but 7 hours into God of War Ragnarok, and it's looking like God of War Ragnarok is set to dethrone God of War 2018 as my 3rd or 4th favorite game of all time, it really is that good.
As an artist, you constantly find yourself doubting your own work, even when completed, you're viewing your work with skepticism, acknowledging and fretting over the tiniest details that may not seem important to others, but it sticks out like a sore thumb to you. You constantly look back at your work thinking "I should have done this" and "I could have done this", wanting to constantly improve to the point you start to look for issues with your work that ain't there, I do that with every piece of art I've ever done, always improving but always accepting there's room for improvement, even if others think what you've done is perfect as is.
Because of ongoing floods over here in Australia, I suddenly got a large influx of games delivered to me all of once through EB Games & ebay:
A Plagues Tale Requiem Gotham Knights Resident Evil Village Gold Edition Persona 5 Royal (PS5) New Tales from the Borderlands Nickolodeon Kart Racers 3 Valkyria Elysium Star Ocean: The Divine Force AI the Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative Nexomon & Nexomon Extinction Dead Island Definitive Edition Little Nightmares 1 & 2 Double Pack Them's Fighting Herds Arcadegedon The Ascent Severed Steel The Lord of the Rings: War to the North (PS3)
I'll probably just play Resident Evil Village's Shadow of Rose DLC since it's a short experience and don't want to jump into a big game right before God of War Ragnarok's release.
@djlard - Damn sorry to hear that dude, my best friend has something similar, he can't play games with fast-moving backgrounds like Cuphead or TMNT Shredder's Revenge, the fast-moving looping background makes him sick to his stomach.
12/15. How was anyone supposed to know how tall Kratos was in Soul Calibur? I thought God of War 2 was the highest scored God of War game. I completely blanked on Kratos's daughter's name, and I thought Lysandra (Kratos's wife) was his daughter's name, I would have known that had I played the two PSP games, but I didn't.
Still 12/15 not bad for someone who doesn't consider themselves a big God of War fan, I had played all the mainline games AND Ascension (because my best friend forced me too), but God of War 2018 is where I finally became a fan.
After the way Konami treated him, I honestly cannot blame the guy, and I gotta respect him for the fact that he doesn't want to be acquired out of fear that his creativity will be stifled, I wish more Developers would place as much value in their creative liberties as Kojima does.
@Dezzy70 - Microsoft are only being 'pro-consumer' (and I say that loosely) because they need to be in order to regain much of the goodwill they had during the Xbox 360 era, that they lost with the Xbox One, if they were the market leader, they'd be making a lot of the same decisions Sony is currently making, need an example? just remember it was Microsoft who initially turned down Crossplay during the Xbox 360/PS3 era because Xbox was the Market Leader and didn't need it, and people can say VR is a niche market all they want, but Microsoft abandoning VR after making such big claims and promises is still a bad look and not exactly Pro-Consumer, just because something is niche doesn't mean you shouldn't attempt to contribute to its growth, but Microsoft has always been the type to wait until someone else makes something popular and then jump in just to get a slice of the pie.

Honorable Mentions: The Quarry, Dying Light 2, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Cuphead DLC, Ghostwire Tokyo, Stray, Sifu & TMNT Shredder's Revenge
My Top 10 most anticipated games (2023 has too many games for just a Top 5)
1. Spider-Man 2
2. Resident Evil 4 Remake
3. Persona 4 Golden
4. Silent Hill 2 Remake
5. Star Wars Jedi Survivor
6. Dead Space Remake
7. Forspoken
8. Hogwarts Legacy
9. Final Fantasy 16
10. Dead Island 2
Honorable Mentions: Atomic Heart, Wild Hearts, Persona 3 Portable, Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC & Tales of Symphonia Remastered
Re: Insomniac Raises Pulses with Unprompted Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 GIF
Gee the amount of people complaining about this Peter Parker vs Miles Morales nonsense, both have their fanbases, and there's nothing wrong with Insomniac Games wanting to include both versions of Spider-Man for their own original stories.
BTW Miles Morales a sidekick? Yeah sure, a 'sidekick' who happens to be stronger than Peter Parker? Stronger than the OG? Sure there's something to be said about experience which Peter certainly has over Miles... doesn't change the fact that Miles is the strongest between the two, not bad for a 'sidekick'.
Re: Insomniac Raises Pulses with Unprompted Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 GIF

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 456
Re: Reaction: The Game Awards Finally Fulfils Its Potential
Best VGA Show in a long time, SO MANY great announcements, the pacing was mostly great (The 3 minute-long Commercial breaks and multiple Gamepass Commercials were completely unnecessary) and everyone deserved the Awards they got, and everyone who won an Award or was nominated, everyone should be damn proud of themselves.
Only category I disagreed with was Best Art Direction, Horizon Forbidden West should have won that one with ease.
Re: Venom Voice Actor Tweet Has Fans Hopeful for Imminent Marvel's Spider-Man 2 News
Re: Future DC Games Will Connect to the DCEU, Confirms James Gunn
After Rocksteady did such a phenomenal job with the Batman Arkham Games, I would love to see them tackle the Flash, Green Arrow, Superman or the Teen Titans.
I'm very VERY wary of their Suicide Squad game, everything I've seen so far is setting off alarm bells, but not only that but... why the Suicide Squad?
Re: Future DC Games Will Connect to the DCEU, Confirms James Gunn
Re: Everybody's Favourite Exec Shuhei Yoshida Says Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Saved PlayStation
Re: Everybody's Favourite Exec Shuhei Yoshida Says Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Saved PlayStation
Re: Development Nearly Complete for Pinnochio-Inspired Soulslike Lies of P
@KaijuKaiser - The more I see of Lies of P, the more I realize how similar it appears to be to Steelrising, both of which clearly took inspiration from the London Gothic Architecture that Bloodborne utilized, but other than that and the fact that they're both Soulslike games, I think that's where the similarities end.
Lies of P is more comparable to Steelrising than it is to Bloodborne, even down to who you play as and how you move and fight, in Steelrising you're a Marionette Automaton, in Lies of P you play as a Mechanical Puppet.
Re: Development Nearly Complete for Pinnochio-Inspired Soulslike Lies of P
Hopefully Lies of P gets a physical release at launch or sometime down the road. Lies of P looks incredible, my only concern is that I hope it don't play too similar to Steelrising, because after playing Steelrising, I couldn't help but realize how similar Lies of P & Steelrising were on a surface-level perspective.
Re: Random: Need for Speed Twitter Got Out of the Wrong Side of Bed Again
One of my friends desperately wants the Burnout series to make a comeback, but who even owns the Burnout IP at this point?
Re: Sony Played a Role in Bringing The Callisto Protocol to Life
Not surprised Sony played a role in bringing The Calisto Protocol to life, Resident Evil Village used Sony's Motion Capture Studio and Remedy's Control used Guerrilla Game's Decima Engine and Guerrilla Games also helped make the game as well, according to Remedy themselves.
Re: Sony Played a Role in Bringing The Callisto Protocol to Life
Hate to burst anybody's bubble, while I do think Striking Distance Studios would be a great acquisition for Sony/PlayStation, they're already owned by Parent Company KRAFTON, and the only real noteworthy game under their belt is PUBG.
So Sony/PlayStation would have to acquire KRAFTON to get Striking Distance Studios, and I can't see them wanting KRAFTON for one great studio and the PUBG IP.
Re: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration (PS5) - A Warts and All Celebration of an Industry Icon
@AG_Awesome - I don't think you're going to find a written review or review via YouTube that's gonna do a review for 100+ games, the best I could find were videos showing about 5 seconds of every game back-to-back
Re: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration (PS5) - A Warts and All Celebration of an Industry Icon
@2here2there @belmont @Uncharted2007 - Thanks for the advice & recommendations, and a special thanks to @2here2there for the link, I now know what I need to do, I might soon finally be able to boot up my SEGA Master System now
Re: Hogwarts Legacy's Platinum Trophy Will Have You Scouring Every Inch of the School Grounds
Re: Hogwarts Legacy's Platinum Trophy Will Have You Scouring Every Inch of the School Grounds
Like I wasn't already planning to explore the entirety of Hogwarts AND the surrounding areas outside of Hogwarts anyway
Re: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration (PS5) - A Warts and All Celebration of an Industry Icon
Wish SEGA would do a SEGA Master System Anniversary Collection, that was my first console and it had some truly fun games on it, I still have my SEGA Master System but the cables are not compatible with Modern TV's, so I can't even go back and play it
Re: Hogwarts Legacy Looks Like Another Magical PS5, PS4 Open World
@itsfoz - I honestly don't know if we're ever going to get a Bully Sequel, the rumors suggest that a Red Dead Redemption Remaster/Remake & Bully 2 were being worked on before being shelved to focus all efforts on GTA6, I mean really? Rockstar Games is made up of 2000 employees, they could have 4-5 separate teams each working on a different project, but NOPE GTA6 is all that matters.
Re: Iconic Batman Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Has Passed Away
The news dropped right as I was about to go to sleep for the night, truly a sad day, to me; Kevin Conroy was truly a Legend, and he'll always be my Batman, as Kevin Conroy himself said "I am vengeance! I am the night! I am Batman!"
RIP Kevin Conroy; the one and only Dark Knight
Re: Some God of War Ragnarok Devs Were 'Freaking Out' Just Three Short Months Ago
Re: Some God of War Ragnarok Devs Were 'Freaking Out' Just Three Short Months Ago
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 451
Because of ongoing floods over here in Australia, I suddenly got a large influx of games delivered to me all of once through EB Games & ebay:
A Plagues Tale Requiem
Gotham Knights
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition
Persona 5 Royal (PS5)
New Tales from the Borderlands
Nickolodeon Kart Racers 3
Valkyria Elysium
Star Ocean: The Divine Force
AI the Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative
Nexomon & Nexomon Extinction
Dead Island Definitive Edition
Little Nightmares 1 & 2 Double Pack
Them's Fighting Herds
Arcadegedon
The Ascent
Severed Steel
The Lord of the Rings: War to the North (PS3)
I'll probably just play Resident Evil Village's Shadow of Rose DLC since it's a short experience and don't want to jump into a big game right before God of War Ragnarok's release.
Re: Forspoken's Glitzy Magic Combat Has Untold Depth on PS5
@djlard - Damn sorry to hear that dude, my best friend has something similar, he can't play games with fast-moving backgrounds like Cuphead or TMNT Shredder's Revenge, the fast-moving looping background makes him sick to his stomach.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - God of War Special
Re: Forspoken's Glitzy Magic Combat Has Untold Depth on PS5
Said it once, I'll say it again; Forspoken is giving me Infamous vibes and I LOVE it!
Re: Kojima Productions Isn't for Sale, Despite Ridiculously High Offers
Metal Gear Solid essentially dead without Kojima's involvement, at least as far as new entries are concerned, but Konami only has themselves to blame.
Re: Kojima Productions Isn't for Sale, Despite Ridiculously High Offers
After the way Konami treated him, I honestly cannot blame the guy, and I gotta respect him for the fact that he doesn't want to be acquired out of fear that his creativity will be stifled, I wish more Developers would place as much value in their creative liberties as Kojima does.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Sells Best on PS5
Re: PS5, PS4 Remaster Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Out March 2023
Another Horror Game added to the month of March 2023, the next 6 months truly is a great time for Horror Game enthusiast like myself.
