It will not. Different audiences. There will be tons of people owning both systems. Exclusives still matter - especially console exclusives. Have you seen God of War Ragnarok? The Switch 2 will never be able to come close to that level of visual fidelity.

So, MS breaks things and Ubi pays the price? Does not seem fair…

Switch vs. PS4 - what interest does Sony have in continuing to develop for it all? Right. None. Switch - how many are still in use every day? And it’s Nintendo’s current gen system. This doesn’t seem that hard to figure out.

Valhalla burned me out and I never finished it. Waiting for Mirage to drop in price and maybe I’ll try it.

This is what happens when the retail cost of games does not increase along with the cost of everything else. Since the PlayStation released in 1994, the cost of games has barely even moved.

For the 6th year in a row the show was on the same night as my kid's school’s holiday band concert. I’m glad BG3 won GOTY. Frankly it’s really the Game of the Generation so for for me.

The formula never got old and stale. The writing got sloppy and that detracted from the overall plot. Then they chased the Witcher 3 formula.

Like as above I had given up on this happening. Such a fun game and any chance to play as Evie Frye on my PS5 - I'm gonna take it!

Exactly! I love this game. Playing it brings me joy. It’s been a long time since I’ve had that continued joyful/fun filled experience in a video game. This game just keeps on impressing the more and more I play it. It deserves every accolade it is getting!

For anyone wondering, it is a giant upgrade. I’ve been playing on my PS five since launch and I had to use my PS4 Pro the other day because my daughter is using the PS five. I was playing destiny and the 30 frames per second was almost unplayable. Once you get used to that smooth 60, it’s really hard to go back.

Looks cool! Don’t betray my hopes, Levine!

Now just need Syndicate tweaked and have it and Unity at 60fps - that’s my Christmas wish!

Exactly! Tired of the grind. I played from the D1 Alpha through to about 6 months ago. Tried jumping in with WQ and was eternally behind on the grind. Said goodbye 5 and a half weeks into Season of Plunder.

I thought it was great! Maybe being a dad helps you enjoy it more?

I’m very surprised to see that all the people who bought the game immediately upon release are giving it high scores. That’s shocking!

I agree with those of you who say that those games are masterpieces. When I played part one I was completely blown away. It was like nothing I had ever played before. Everything about it was stellar. You can’t really felt the gameplay as it’s a product of its time. Part two had the advantage of coming after many technological advances in gaming.

When I completed part one I couldn’t wait to play the sequel. Then I played part two and it was absolutely stunning. So much so that no other game even appealed to me for six months. That the game has such a polarizing audience seems to me to be a product of exactly what it was trying to do with the story. To me it was a complete and total success. Even if it did ruin gaming for me for half a year. I love it for that and I always will.

All I know is that for any big game (Odyssey/Valhalla/Code Red) I’ll be waiting for it’s successor to release before purchasing. The smaller “traditional games” (Mirage/Hexe) will be day ones for me.
