A lot of trailers for new games with very little or no gameplay whatsoever. Accessory announcements with no details. Detailed trailers only for games that had been previously announced without adding much to what was already known. It was a LOT of flash with very little substance.
These people are sad, pathetic people that have nothing better to do.
But I always see comments saying about "gamers" in general and most of us are definitely not like that. Let's not forget that an annoyed minority of people is generally louder than a satisfied majority.
@naruball He is, but at the same time this is a project the he is directly involved and has invested a lot of his work into it. I'm not saying he's a liar, but he probably has a different perspective than the audience who is going to watch the movie.
@LiamCroft Nice one dismissing anyone's argument by calling them fanboys. Ad hominem much?
If the Xbox Series X had a bunch of amazing exclusives I would buy it without thinking twice. I might be a PS owner since the second one, but I used to be a Nintendo console owner exclusively. By having strong games you may introduce people to a different console and while they definitely will not sell their PS5's little by little you gain an audience and "convert" then to your console. It might not be the only strategy, but just saying that the Xbox can't do anything about the PS5 is untrue and it does nothing in favor of Microsoft.
Great games aren't everything? That's literally the reason Sony and Nintendo repeatedly beat Microsoft in the console market. Microsoft is clearly bigger than both combined, but Sony and Nintendo always have the upper hand when it comes to consoles. It's no accident that the Xbox 360 is the most successful of the Microsoft consoles because of its exclusives. Hell, the reason I bought an Xbox 360 was because of Mass Effect which was an exclusive at the time. Bethesda keep buying studios but they barely release a quality game ever. They need change in leadership ASAP.
So, I bought my PS5 for £450 and pre-ordered my physical copy of FFXVI for £55 making it a grand total of £505.
They're offering a console + a digital version of the game for £540. What's the point?
@UltimateOtaku91 "I don't understand what's the deal with using boatloads of computers and further helping destroy the environment also adding more speculation into the world's incredibly unstable economy! Just live on another planet!"
@Milt While I agree with you, my wife for example hates knowing when the game is about to end because she likes to be surprised by it. It doesn't affect me, but since it affects other people it should be optional.
Hogwarts Legacy for sure. The game looks quite interesting and even if it doesn't reach the heights that is promising, the Harry Potter world is a quite entertaining one to visit.
He admitted it was linear yet justified every linearity saying that it wasn't actually as linear as people thought. He is trying to pander to the critics of the game without actually admitting the game's flaws which extremely disingenuous and condescending.
95% of your choices lead to the same result and except for the ending a great majority of them don't matter at all and barely change your experience.
I have a pitch! How about for your next game you have the renowned Hideo Kojima as the Director, the extremely talented horror director Guillermo Del Toro helping with the story and Norman Reedus playing the main character?
@KundaliniRising333 I was agreeing with your opinion until you lumped Silent Hill with Dead Space.
While its gameplay is not the most revolutionary, the story and symbolism especially in the second game reach depths that other games wish they could. Silent Hill games were always more about the story than the gameplay and whereas I don't think they're perfect by any means, they do belong in video game history for their creativity with their narrative.
Even though Elden Ring is easily my favorite game of the year it does make sense on this website for God of War and Horizon to be ahead. People here are Playstation fans and like their first party titles, that's why they have the console. It had nothing to do with being a fanboy and more to do with the tastes aligning with what the console has to offer.
No big discounts, and the absurd £70 price being on discount just makes Sony's first party games cost the same as the other ones. It actually became better again to buy physical copies because they're always less than Sony's ridiculous price. What a weak January sale.

David Hayter as Snake or not? Kiefer Sutherland was a huge downgrade in MGS 5.

Stunningly on-rails.

Re: Hogwarts Legacy's PS5 Sales Are Magical, and It's Out Now on PS4 Too
I guess this is a good message to all developers that what most people want is a solid single player game with no live service elements.
Re: Stranger Things Star Explains How Gran Turismo Movie Avoids Video Game Adaptation Curse
The guy who's in the movie is saying the movie is good? No way!

@dBackLash And you believe that? Sure.

What controversy? If we're going to scrutinize every product because of people that are related to it, we're not going to buy anything.

Hogwarts Legacy for sure.
The game looks quite interesting and even if it doesn't reach the heights that is promising, the Harry Potter world is a quite entertaining one to visit.
