Re: Black Myth: Wukong Deserved Astro Bot's Game of the Year Award, Says Game Science CEO

"今年ε…₯ε›΄ηš„ζΈΈζˆιƒ½εΎˆε‡Ίθ‰²οΌŒε―ζˆ‘ηœŸζ²‘ζžζ˜Žη™½θΏ™ζ¬‘εΉ΄εΊ¦ζΈΈζˆηš„θ―„ι€‰ζ ‡ε‡†ζ˜―ε•₯οΌŒζˆ‘η‰ΉδΉˆη™½ζ₯了!"
literally means -
Games all round are quite astonishing this year, but I really can't quite figure out what this year's goty selecting standard was, I bloody came for nothing!"

Somewhere in there he also mentioned that in general, many will only see results and then speak of the results. What I understand is he believes of their results with good confidence thus prepared the speech years prior, but alas disappointed that he couldn't share them.
Not really their fault if they're came what they aim for and everyone else telling them better than nothing only AFTER knowing the results.
For all we know the game was probably in good shape at that point in time otherwise it's hard to think to make a speech based only on a vertical slice.

The rest is neutral stance of calming/comfort the believers crowd and just instilling positive confidence and self-respect into everyone inclusive.

P/S:
From TGA's f.a.q. -
"voting jury (90%) and public fan voting (10%)"
Staggering amount of the former comes from the west, find out in there yourselves.

Re: Video: The Biggest PlayStation Surprises of 2024

Pushsquarian

Game of the Year means nothing to me if I don't plan to play those games, I only play those that gives enjoyment and if said games happened to be new and got the nomination, good to knowπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘
Also, many like me just follow news and don't bother to vote, even sometimes like the polls here

Re: Wuthering Waves Is Ready for Its Long Awaited PS5 Debut

@Jake3103
All the limited event content is very procrastination-friendly, no content dead-locks like a certain game I still play to date. However when Rinascita drops, I hope they keep it that way~

@themightyant
Yesterday's event last two stages was something alright~ Brute forced, gave up and told myself sweaty/skill issue then call it a day πŸ§‚πŸ§˜

Re: Physical Media Just Can't Catch a Break Right Now

Pushsquarian

I've always find it funny that even certain f2p games have even made it physical after release πŸ˜‚

One way of them already try to discourage trading games is doing sales as fast as possible, that way it would be more competitive than what it used to. (could we complain about half-glass empty 🀷)
I mean, physical is just a means for trading, if they make digital sharing ecosystem better, won't doubt many would have a change in perspective. A Way Out is a prime example, something I'd always think of.
In terms of preservation, they are already doing that with Plus Premium.

At least they are still doing their part, regardless of what this community have in their minds~

Re: When Is The Game Awards 2024?

"It's completely free, so you don't need to pay." 😢
What do you mean? We're paying our time to watch ads on both platforms, to buy more products.. πŸ’³ πŸ•³οΈ

Re: Tencent Acquires Controlling Stake in Dev of PS5's Wuthering Waves

Pushsquarian

Without Tencent, Wukong would just be a black myth.

@themightyant They just might not know a hidden gem among gacha games, in our experience.
Incessant yappings is the only reason Sammy, me and many others don't show ourselves around here. 🍿
For them, this is their end-game content, if you catch my drift~ πŸ‘‹

Re: Nintendo and The PokΓ©mon Company Want to Stop the Sale of Palworld

Pushsquarian

We'll never know what was the story behind Jenshin Switch edition now won't we?

Added late context: Given how similar it resembles Zelda entry at the time, it never materialised after being announced. Nothing happened towards Square's Foamstars. However Palworld's success just happened to be the last nerve for Nintendo, in my opinion.
If it's ain't good, let the public boycott. Otherwise, oh boy, ready the big guns.
Always the same story everywhere everytime, even into the future 🍿

Re: Death Stranding 2 PS5 Will 'Come Out Next Year', Crazy Photo Mode Revealed

Pushsquarian

Swore Rainy irl pic looked so familiar and then went to find out she's from the Sanctuary Netflix series that I watched. An ah moment.

The photo mode looks to me just model animations on loop in limited functionality.
I hope all the cast have very unique ones that can be used everywhere in the world with context sensitive animations 🀞✨

Re: Genshin Impact's Rollerblading Waifu Will Bankrupt Whales on PS5, PS4

@TheElectroFunky
It's not entirely your ages' fault, moreso by the internet exposure that was driven from your lifetime searches and whatnot.
Complex topic, basically you don't see much things from the other side of the sphere and vice versa.

I'm a millennial myself then came to learn of the existence of ACG culture, while many others grew alongside it.

Just like in Netflix, we get Korean action thrillers to huge variety of ACG contents that was never offered in the west, or to some limited capacity.

Anyway, you get the gist.

Like @get2sammyb had said before, always don't have to spend a penny on these offerings let alone being a wallet whale. Usually those who do so are doing for content creation career. Most of the time them content creators are entertaining on their own, it just creates community surrounding these games as a whole.

Anyways, sometimes I do feel like I'm out of place here because of the age differences, culture, and where these readers come from.

Also sometimes, when readers get political or very subjective just couldn't wrap my head around it.

More importantly is to have fun and spread happiness rather than doom and gloom all the time ready at every opportunity ✌️

Re: God of War Ragnarok PC Mod Removes PSN Login Requirement

Pushsquarian

The other day I was logging in to Quidditch which blatantly required creation of WB account.
Batted an eye is all I did since the process is seamless and didn't require any input from me.

Anyhoo, Resident Evil and many others did about the same process and you could always toggle them in settings but that doesn't mean corps don't collect any metadata.

I'd be more wary of giving data to gacha companies which potentially could be very questionable than others.
Who's to say this partnered sites doesn't mine our data for all the data hungry corps?
Food for thought.
