Re: Sony Adopting 'Show Don't Tell' Strategy with PS5

@twitchtvpat I think you need to re-read my comment again; it was specifically about interaction from people working at Playstation. Shuhei used to pop onto podcasts quite often and other executives would conduct interviews.
I think you're being defensive of a multi-billion dollar company without reading my actual comment

Re: Poll: Would You Buy PS5 Pro If It Was Cheaper?

SeanOhOgain

I owned a regular PS4 with my housemate and moved country to be with my partner. We then bought a PS4 Pro because the price was so close and it just made sense.
I wouldn't just upgrade to a Pro for no real reason; seems like a waste of money. Especially as trade in programs like GameStop used to have just don't exist anymore

Re: Reaction: PlayStation Needs to Take a Long, Hard Look at Itself

Agree with the sentiment of this piece; Hulst is definitely a slightly worrying ceo. I love killzone but shadow fall was extremely poor, and I like Horizon but it does feel like a franchise that's a little stagnant and with a main character that's not very endearing.
Also very true that the lack of discussion about their single player offerings is really begin to annoy

Re: Concord Fires Off Another Salvo of PS5, PC Character Trailers

The character designs are just very generic and uninspired; there is no flair or appeal. The choice to go with a hyper-realistic art style has really bit them in the butts; these could be way more interesting if they could be exaggerated and the silhouettes made more iconic. This game is a great example of design by committee and trying to make a game that would appeal to everyone

@ShadowofSparta Obviously it's hard when there's a crowd mentality to maintain chill, but I think folks just need more empathy and patience. The Devs are obviously working their butts off and trying their best to make the best game possible.
I've worked in dev, there's never enough hours in the day and everyone is trying to do their best
And actually, from my experience the Devs see just about everything put online.

Re: It Doesn't Sound Like Braid: Anniversary Edition Quite Set the World on Fire

Agree with most folks above but also worth pointing out he has slightly tarnished his own indie darling persona. I heard him recently on a podcast espousing some pretty fringe political opinions based purely on his own experiences rather than the entire world around him. While I don't think badly of him or anything, I'm sure there's plenty of people who were simply a little turned off and less interested
