Honestly, just remaster the game for just $50. There's no need to make a $70 paywall for new accesability options. If sony wants to remake games...then just remake the ones that deserve it! Jak and Daxter, legend of dragoon, war of the monsters, killzone, the god of war trilogy, resistance, starhawk, or even freedom wars. At this point, expect a Spiderman, Ghost of tsushima or death stranding remake lol

It's a shame. One of the few better recent MP titles Sony has given us.

Which reminds me...it's just now that I remembered that Hardware rivals also got its servers shut down last year, and I only knew about that because of one guy on Gfaqs lol

My guess is that, if it's not TLoU, it could maybe be an uncharted live service game.

About time we heard something from Evotinction. Hopefully other china hero games like AI Limit and Convalleria also get something new soon (the former especially).

I just hope it's better than Capcom's previous netflix game to anime adaptation, Dragon's dogma.

If sony really wants to tackle live service games, then they should definitely bring back Warhawk. Heck, the gameplay is perfect as it is, with just a few tweaks needed. No need to go what Battlefield 2042 went through.

And for a modern one, a Starhawk revival could work as well. A PvPvE spaggheti western scifi shooter game with building gameplay and mecha fights? Sign me up!

Managed to get a few games here and there in mercenaries. I may not won them all but I was just glad to see people giving the game one last chance before they shut down the servers.

Honestly, as long it's not super buggy like Sword and Fairy 6, I'll givr this one a shot. I just hope they still fix the issues. The english translation especially. Don't know why a lot of asian games (especially those from China, although Sword and Fairy is from Taiwan) suffers from bad translation.

Now this is a solid line-up. Will consider playing Yakuza 7 sometime once I have enough free time from college. Tony hawk is not my cup of tea only because im not good at skateboarding games lol but I think it's good for those who likes that genre. Little Nightmares will definitely play.

@Titntin I'm personally not surprised sincr this is from Playstation Talents. A lot of games that came from that initiative ranged from okay to...not so good. It's not a lot like China Hero Project which tries to focus on quality over quantity (for the most part...cough in nightmare cough). Pretty sure only 2 or 3 from PS talents even managed to get a score higher than 70%. I still remember trying out Waves Out and Ion Driver, both which were from Playstation Talents, and while they were better than I initially thought, they're still at the end of the day forgettable bargain bin games that you would find easily on a sale. Not to mention they're pretty buggy too.

Still, here's to the devs improving in their next game.

Considering that this is from Playstation talents, not surprised that the game looks janky. Still, looks way better then when it was initially announced, which looked terrible imo, so I commend the devs for trying to improve.

@KundaliniRising333 Honestly, as I said before, they should just let Bluepoint remake the game. We can say all we want about the demons souls remake but atleast the combat remained intact. Surely Bluepoint would have done its best to keep what made KOTOR's combat so great.

And this is why live service games are always risky to develop and sometimes not wprth pouring sweat into it unless the higher ups REALLY care for the IP.

That was expected but understandable. Killzone shadowfall sadly wasn't as popular as it once was. And as for killzone mercenaries? Sadly the same but it was good fun while it lasted. Killzone Mercs definitely had a good run, and it still remains as one of my favorite Killzone games. Still wish there was a way for Sony to bring back their PS vita exclusives for the newer audience like Mercenaries, Soul Sacrifice and Freedom Wars (maybe even bringing back their servers too?), but that's just pure wishful thinking.

Now I'm hoping sony does the same for Demon's Souls remake's pre-order exclusive equipment.

I'm glad sony is still willing to support it, when compared to their previous multiplayer attempts like Hardware Rivals. I do hope they add more characters though. Hell, this could be a perfect time for them to do a twisted metal collaboration.

Still, I do wonder what's Sony doing with Predator Hunting Grounds too, another online multiplayer game from them. Is that game still getting supported or is it done and dusted?

I personally think it would be cool if, in the sequel, you could invite players to help you in the overworld. Kinda like what Elden Ring has.

Still hoping we'll get Tekken 3 soon. Prefer it more over the second game.

The only live service game I want from them is a F2P Playstation All Stars spinoff a la Multiversus.

Putting that aside, I'm still worried since a lot of their live service/online only MP games attempts have been middling to say the least (anyone still remember Predator and Destruction All Stars?), so I'm hoping Bungie actually helps Sony on this area.

Again, very worried since a lot of their live service games were either quickly forgotten (Destruction all stars, predator hunting grounds) or got the axe (hardware rivals, tomorrow children, etc.) If it's true that the Bungie buyout will help improve their live service model, then godspeed, but personally, I just wish they focused more on singleplayer games with multiplayer modes/components (Ghost of Tsushima is a good example).

Makes me wonder if it's possible for other ps1 games to recieve the online treatment. Maybe even PS2 games? Imagine playing War of the Monster or Tekken 3 online lol that would be awesome.

Then again, it could be like Nintendo Switch Online, where the classics can be played with internet but can only let you connect with friends. Who knows really? Guess we have to wait and see.

Hopefully more PS1, PSP, PS2 and PS3 games that we all love (and maybe some gems too) will be around the corner. Still surprised how's there's only one psp game. Expected maybe the God of War psp games or spmething.

@Ssimsim The PS4/5 lineup is solid but the classics are still lacking. There's some good additions like Demon's Souls ps3, Jumping Flash, Ape Escape, etc, but it's not enough. I'm hoping they'll add more soon.

I'm hoping they'll add more PS1/2/3 and PSP games. There's still some classics missing, like Twisted Metal, Legend of Dragoon, Syphon Filter 2, Parrapa, God of War games, Folklore, etc.

Also, I did NOT expect classic Demon's Souls to be added lol Still happy though. More people can finally experience how Demon's Souls originally was, and I think it's good for those who don't have a PS5 yet.

I'll be playing some Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, and maybe play some rounds on Ghost of Tsushima Legends.

Anyone still remember Sword and Fairy 6 and its disastrous buggy launch? I'm hoping this one does it better than the previous one. From the looks of it, it's like a mix of Tales with Xuan Yuan Sword 7, and definitely a major improvement over 6's combat, so who knows lol

@Flaming_Kaiser True, although I do miss the weird ancient aesthetic the original game had, especially the music (Remake's ost is not bad but it went a bit overboard with the vocals. Case in point? Dirty colossus lol), which still makes it one of a kind in the Souls series. Plus it's always nice to look back at how Demon's Souls used to look like, like watching an old movie after watching its remake just to see what was the original movie's vision back then. It may not hold up today but it's still important to Playstation's history.

Really hope that's true. I understand that it's complicated but I'd rather wait years for a functional PS3 emulator on the home consoles than having none at all. Heck, imagine playing the OG demon's souls as well.

And this is why online only games are almost never a good thing.

Kinda expected but still a nice surprise. Always thought an Uncharted collab would have made more sense than a God of War collab imo.
