Re: PS5 Was the UK's Best Selling Console in June, Biggest Games Perform Best Digitally

Tatarimokke

Normally I always buy physical , however I just decided to buy FF16 digitally as i had a top up card of 70 pounds... Well I'll never make this mistake again as the game is just not for me couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. So it'll sit in my library forever without touching it . I'm afraid digital only future is inevitable because that's what publishers want, but I hope I we can enjoy physical releases still for a couple of years

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of the Final Fantasy 16 PS5 Demo?

Tatarimokke

Well...I'm not totally sold to be honest. This is my first Final Fantasy game ever and I expected something very convincing. The combat is my biggest concern as I found it too easy and boring. A flashy numbers and effects are quiet distracting but I'm sure there'll be an option to turn it off. Graphics...well not too great in my opinion. Everything looked a bit blunt overall. The story looks interesting enough to keep my eyes on this. Overall it was an okay experience for me, keeping in mind I'm not a Final Fantasy fan. I can imagine fans are really enjoyed it

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?

Tatarimokke

@jrt87 Thank you very much for the detailed review. It helped me to make the decision buying the game. I was a bit worried about the parry mechanism, I was feared it's something like it was in Sekiro. I relieved it is more forgiving. I completed all the Nioh and all the Fromsoft games several times and I really love them. But Sekiro was a different beast...it's like a rhythm game which requires perfect parry which I failed on many times. Anyway, long story short, I'm going to start it today. How you're getting on with it?

Re: 'AAAA' Title The Callisto Protocol Reportedly Falls Short of Expected Sales Figures

this game was a positive surprise for me really. I really liked the atmosphere and gameplay. Game looks absolutely good and I think combat is fine if you get use to it. At least I enjoyed it. I played it through 3 times already on normal and easy. I'm doing the hard mode at the moment which is very tough
Also I recommend to play it with 3d pulse headset or other good quality headset, it's amazing!

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Horizon Forbidden West?

Tatarimokke

The game is just amazing! Graphics too! I have around 10 hours and just wondering around admiring the world. I haven't noticed any technical issues so far on PS5. I'm playing in resolution mode with disabled motion blur ( absolutely pointless in any game in my opinion) and the gameplay is absolutely fluid. I came from Dying Light 2 which is a great game and I enjoyed it but Horizon is a totally different league. Worth every penny in my opinion

Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

Tatarimokke

@RevGaming Fair point. I'm more excited for those two as well but I give this one a go before they come out.
I just don't like the trend people judges too easily after reading some reviews. I've learnt the lesson with Days Gone: don't trust the reviewers blindly , try yourself and if you don't like it you can still sell it with minimal loss (if you buy physical of course). Time is a valid point for sure

Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

Tatarimokke

Sounds absolutely fine to me. Also I don't understand why people consider a 7 or 75 percent as a bad game and skip it?!? Also these are just reviews from random people like you guys(players). For me the reviews seem solid enough to try it. If you're interested, don't skip it because it doesn't have 8 or 9...

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard

Gamepass and game streaming is the death of the gaming industry unfortunately. This step is just another nail in the coffin. Exactly the same like netflix's doing in movie industry. You'll get quantity over quality. Not good at all. My only hopes with Sony and Nintendo. Probably we'll have a few good years left

Re: Days Gone's Reported 8 Million Sales Not Necessarily Accurate

Tatarimokke

I think it's time to replay Days Gone again. I was thinking what to play this weekend... now decision made thanks for the articles Pushsquare:)
And for those who defend Sony tirelessly in this case: I really love Playstation in every aspect but no doubt that Sony is exactly the same cold hearted business machine like any other big company. Nothing matters only numbers and sales.
If Bend studio would have been an independent developer then Days Gone would be definitely a clear success with millions of copies sold and I'm sure there would be a sequel by now. But because it's a Sony IP that's simply not enough for being considered as success.

Re: Days Gone Also Sold Over 8 Million Copies on PS4, Claims Director

Tatarimokke

This game is a special one from the start. Received mostly bad reviews from press however It was very well received and rated highly by gamers from the beginning. I don't know why is the big difference but I remember that was the moment when I decided not to trust reviewers blindly.
For me Days Gone will always be special as it was the first game I platinumed out. I definitely think it would deserve a sequel.
