Of course increasing prices will reduce sales numbers, that's just economics. The important question to Sony is how it affects profits.

Hogwarts Legacy is the major one for me, that is assuming they can get it running to an adequate degree on PS4. With a week to release and without any last-gen footage shown off yet, I'm somewhat concerned about it.

That was very surprising. Just as things were looking like it would be fully approved.

The lukewarm reception isn't surprising. The game doesn't appeal to me at all. Hopefully this won't be the end of Crash if this game flops, as I'd sure like more platformers.

With how much game prices have risen once DLC and microtransactions are taken into account, I'm not feeling sympathetic towards the game creators. Plus, buggy releases are an ever common theme these days. There's definitely an argument to be made for quality over quantity though.

Glad this has done well, as I was getting fed up of all the backlash from the vocal minority. If they manage to release it on last gen systems without any major issues, then I'll be excited to play this next month.

I'm not going to get excited over rumours, but I'd certainly love for this to be true. Persona 3 has a great story and characters, but the game could benefit from an update.

I'm not convinced, my money is on it being a fan made video. A remake doesn't make a lot of sense right now due to the recent port of Persona 3 Portable. Though, I'd sure love a remake that combines the additions from both P3P and P3 FES.

Finishing off the classic Hitman game Hitman Contracts, and this also seems like a good weekend to give Nier Replicant a try. Automata is one of my all time favourite games, so I'm curious to see how Replicant compares to it.

Though I dislike huge acquisitions such as this, I'm also not convinced that the deal should be blocked. It's up to the regulators to decide, and the concessions that Microsoft has offered seem reasonable enough.

PlayStation's been in a dominant position up until now, and Xbox isn't suddenly going to get a monopoly if this deal goes through, so I don't see this as substantially harming competition. At this point, Jim Ryan just seems to be doing bad faith arguments to hold this deal up as much as possible.

E3 was excellent at its peak. And I personally prefer the huge bombardment of gaming news over a few days instead of it being more spread out. It's a shame it's gone, though not surprising.

I'll skip this, as I'm not too active here these days. If that changes, then I might reconsider. And besides, there's some aspects of this site and Nintendo Life that I'm less fond of, so I'm reluctant to throw money at it.

Its name along with the promotional artwork reminds me of those knock-off mobile GTA clones. That metacritic score isn't surprising.

It's good that they're repeating the elusive target events again, as there's surly plenty of new players since freelancer mode got added.

Could be great, but it remains to be seen. As as others have said, the prospect of DLC concerns me. The many paid expansion packs are the main reason why I've not played much of modern The Sims games.

It does look good, though maybe too derivative to Persona 5. It's a mobile game though, so I'm sure there'll be some monetization strategies that'll put me off from trying it out.

Patents aren't generally something to be worried about. It's only a concern if and when they ever decide to implement these features.

Mostly playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, but I should have time to start something else. Might continue with the classic Hitman games and start Hitman: Contracts.

It's a shame, but I don't have a lot of sympathy for SE right now with their current NFT stance. Plus they've been making a bunch of weird business decisions lately, and their recent games do tend to vary in quality.

It certainly looks interesting so far, hope it turns out good. Glad to see Level 5 is back.

I'd prefer an option to hide it. Even though it's usually easy enough to gauge roughly how far through a game I am, it's nice to have a bit of mystery to it. Plus, there's occasionally games that last for way longer than expected, and I like to have that surprise.

Hoping they can get it working to an acceptable level on the older systems. Cyberpunk 2077 also had delays before their disastrous launch, so I've got a few doubts about Hogwarts.

Haven't played any of these yet, so I can't really choose a favourite right now. I'll get Hogwarts Legacy once the PS4 version releases, and I want to hold off on Like A Dragon: Ishin until after playing some other Yakuza games first.

Could be where GTA VI is located. Vice City is my favourite city from the GTA series, so I'd love to see it return.

An online fantasy game is unlikely to appeal to me, but I'm curious to see what they can do with it. The Bond game they're working on is probably more my kind of game.

0 is my favourite out of the ones I've played so far (0, 1 Kiwami and 2 Kiwami). 0 has the advantage of being the game that got me into the series, but it's also great in terms of story, gameplay, and side-content.

I probably won't get it. I haven't bought the first one yet, and that is low down on my wishlist. There's lots of great RPGs out there, and the Octopath Traveller games don't seem particularly special as far as I know.

Hopefully Sony has some great stuff cooking away behind the scenes, but I'm not going to get my hopes up until more concrete info is revealed.

I had thought this was just some generic FPS shooter, but after seeing some clips it looks like it might be a cool robotics themed game. It doesn't help that I keep getting Atomic Heart and Wild Hearts muddled up.

Anyway, I could do with finding a trailer and perhaps digging out a review or two to unmuddy my mind on what this game is like.

I'll keep my expectations in check, but I'm hoping for some fun surprises with the third party announcements.

I bought it as I love the series and want to support the developers and these kinds of games. However, I've only just finished Yakuza 2 Kiwami, so it might be stuck in my backlog for a while.

I'm interested, but I don't have a PS5 yet. Plus, there's too many other games I'm more eager to play instead right now. But it is a game that I wouldn't mind playing at some point, and hopefully it sells well enough.

I'll be doing some more side content with Yakuza 2 Kiwami, and progressing further with Beyond: 2 Souls and Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.

These days I tend to prefer having all the content in the game on Day 1 without DLC being added further down the line. But like others have suggested, I wouldn't say no to them adding Quiddich.

Brilliant, it sound like it has everything I want from a Like A Dragon game. Not sure when I'll get around to this though, as I'm currently in the middle of Yakuza 2 Kiwami.

The game had been under my radar until now, but this review has pipped my interest in it. I am liking the monster designs from the images above.

The one thing making me hesitant to get it is that it's probably a massive time sink if it's anything like Monster Hunter, plus I've still been playing Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak on and off recently. It could be a game for me to get further down the road when I'm less busy with other games.

The free to play live service aspects put me off from even trying it out. I don't know how bad it was in MultiVersus, but stuff like battle passes and strongly pushing the microtransactions just discourages me from picking up a game.

Yep, that should be obvious. The better question would be whether the gamepass revenue goes any way to offsetting the lost sales, though I can't imagine the numbers will be that great for most developers.

I got fed up with how overblown the controversy was (in relation to the game), and in the end ended up preordering the PS4 version of Hogwarts Legacy. Had the excessive controversy reaction not happened, then I likely would have been a Day 2 purchase or waited until the first sale.

That's a surprise, I assumed it was coming to all main platforms. I'm still on the fence with this game, so it's more likely to sit on my wishlist for a while if it's Switch exclusive.

Yakuza 2 Kiwami, might be able to finish the storyline this weekend. Also thinking about starting Beyond: 2 Souls.

With how overblown this controversy has been, I'm even more eager to buy this game than I would have been otherwise. Other than some minor quibbles about how side quests and NPCs could better, it sounds like the game I've been waiting for.

Ishin and Hogwarts are the two major ones for me. Probably won't get Like A Dragon: Ishin straight away though as I'm in the middle of Yakuza Kiwami 2. Likewise, I've got to wait until April for Hogwarts Legacy on PS4, assuming there's no major problems with that version.

It certainly looks interesting, but reviews will be useful for this one.

That sounds great. If those side quests are as good as they say, then it should be a wonderful time.
