@Dman10 The Steam Deck kinda is, most PS4 era games (including Sonys first party games) are on Steam and run really well

Downside is ofc that you would need to buy those games again

I still don't get why someone would pre-order (and pay!) digital stuff like DLC that far in advance. It's not like it won't be in stock once it releases

Pre-ordering a few days before release is more than enough.

I have never played Shenmue myself but I heard that a lot of fans didn't like Shenmue 3 because it basically was just filler (it didn't move the overall story forward) despite having waited many years for it.

So I'm pretty sure fans will be happy to hear that the potential next game will be a prequel /s

I really appreciate that you guys don't rush/force reviews to go live when the embargo lifts unlike other outlets cough GameXplain cough

Beside minor bugs I had those bugs:

• Sound would stop working (and no, it wasn't during Haileys quest). Had to restart the game
• Soundeffects of the traffic stopped working three times. Had to restart to game each time
• Progess bar for some side activitity didn't go away after finishing said activity
• When escaping from a collapsing building I had to swing to the right. But the game just wouldn't let me. Had to go back to the last checkpoint (which luckily was right before)
• After learing a new move the game told me to press L1 + X and even though I tried multiple times the game didn't do anything. Had to go back to the last checkpoint (which luckly also was right before)

But luckily this time around the game didn't crash during the final boss fight unlike in Miles Morales lol

@guntam For real. When playing through P4 and P5 I never thought "Man, I wish the protagonist could use some other kind of weapon" because it simply hardly matters

Well I assume PS fans don't really care about the PS5 Slim because they already own a PS5

@Quintumply Sorry if this has already been answered in the review, I didnt read it cause I want to play it as blind as possible but do characters constantly tell you what to do and spoil solutions to puzzles? Cause stuff like that ruined HFW and GOWR for me

Since I was disappointed by both HFW and GoW:R I'm not super hyped but I' still looking forward to it

I hope the world map is more interesting than FF16s. As much as I liked FF16 I have to say that it's world map was a bit boring to explore because most of the time you'd just find the same items and enemy types over and over again

So will we see first party games in 10-15 years?

When people say "PS5 lacks reasons to buy one" then they mean there aren't many exclusive games. If I'm not mistaken the only current PS5 exclusive game is FF16. And even that one has a PC port in development
But there is ofc the upcoming Spider-Man 2 and FF7Rebirth

I'm turning it off as well. Jumping off high places without consequences is just to much fun

The Witcher 3: 182 h
FF XV: 141 h

All of which I played on PS4. My highest rated PS5 would be Cyberpunk with 86h (and even that one actually was the PS4 verion played on PS5)

I guess most of my playtime goes to Nintendo games

I really didn't expect DLC for this games, especially 2 years after release

Looking forward to it, ToA was one of my favorite games of 2021

Tbh I'm actually looking more forward to games like FF7R2 or Stellar Blade than any possible first party games

I mean the Rog Ally drains the battery in 1-2h in newer games depending on the mode and I assume that the iPhone has an even smaller battery than the Rog Ally

That's pretty ironic considering FFXVs DLC all were story bits that were cut from the main story and sold as DLC. Like "You want to know why Ignis suddenly became blind? Buy the DLC!"

@CutchuSlow Ok, I did indeed mean mpbs but for mbit/s and not for the MB/s. So they were indeed talking about 450mbps aka 56.5MB/s

@CutchuSlow I tried it on my mobile phone and on the Steam Deck via Chiaki. I can assure, it is not good for streaming

edit: And no, they were talking about 50MB/s since that person had about 450Mbit/s and other people claimed "That's just about 56MB/s, it's not that great"

@General_Disarray Just recently the Series S has been sold for 180€ during Prime Days. I guess for that price people should expect some compromises compared to the Series X

I wanted to give GoWR another try a few days ago but as soon as Mimir said "We won't find him (Atreus) there" as soon as I went towars a lootable, optional chest I was out again

Aren't those voice lines supposed to help people? So why are they trying to get me away from optional stuff the developers placed there?

Even if I wanted (which I don't) I couldn't because my internet just isn't good enough to stream games.
To give you an idea, just recently I've seen some people online arguing that a download speed of 54MB/s is "relatively slow". I have a download speed of 3MB/s

Makes sense, I assume a lot of people want the (re)play the base game before the DLC drops. Especially since it's been almost 3 years since that game released
