Good decicion. While if prefer traditional turn based battle system I'd rather take a fully action battle system over that hybrid battle system of FF7R. Either commit fully to it or don't do it at all imo. Always needing to navigate menues because e.g. the AI didn't do anything on their own (or constantly switch between them) completely ruins the flow of the battle. I didn't enjoy FF7Rs battle system at all
@ShogunRok Tbf, Nintendo Directs and SoP/Playstation Showcase airing at 10/11/12pm during weekdays here in europe isn't much better imo, at least not for people who need to get up early (which propably are most people)
I don't get why publishers/devs keep announcing brand new IPs with a nothing telling CGI trailer. Who is supposed to get hyped by that?
Just look at for example Atral Chain, when that got announced it had a gameplay trailer which offered a pretty good insight about what we can expect from that game
@UltimateOtaku91 But my point was that he made the claim that he knows that there will be games at E3 running on the Switch Pro.
That obviously was complete BS, even if Nintendo at some pointed planned to make a Switch Pro they already knew it wouldn't doable long before E3 and if some developers had games taking advantage of the Switch Pros hardware in development then Nintendo also would have informed them long before E3 that the Switch Pro isn't happening.
Therefore there's no way imo there were ever any plans for a game running on Switch Pro to be shown at E3
"Nate is about as reliable as leakers get" In 2021 he said that the Switch Pro will be announced before E3 because he knows that there will be games running on the Switch Pro at E3
@Soulless666 That years alone already had Fire Emblem Engage, Kirby, Metroid Prime Remastered, Bayonetta Origins and Advance Wars 1+2 before TotK, and that's only the first party stuff.
I'd assume that more copies sell on Switch, FF 1-6 seem like the type of games one would rather get on Switch than PS (assuming they have a Switch ofc) because of portability and since they aren't graphically demanding games anyway
@Northern_munkey Because games constantly telling you what (I need) to do is something that really bothers therefore it annoys me to read stuff like "they just love to complain instead of enjoying the game" when in reality I really wanted to like GoWR just like I like GoW2018
I just generally dislike it when someone dismisses critisms of others as "they just love to complain"
@Northern_munkey There's have an opinion and then there's dismissing others opinion and claim that they just love to complain. Yours is the later
If you just would have said "I personally wasn't bothered by it" no one would have complained but for some reason you felt the need to add "but then those spending more time picking faults rather than enjoying themselves would have nothing to complain about"
@Northern_munkey Sorry but that's very ignorant of you. Just because you aren't bothered by it doesn't mean others aren't. And it especially isn't because those people bothered by it are looking for something to complain, I for example was really bothered by it that much that I stopped playing it and believe me I was really looking forward to it. GOW 2018 is probably my favorite first party exclusive on PS4 therefore I really have no reason to look for something to complain about the sequel
"picking faults rather than enjoying themselves" The problem is that my enjoyment from video games comes from exploring by myself, solving problems by myself and playing it at the pace/way I want to play it. Therefore constantly getting told "That's not the right way" when I want to look around for a bit for loot and getting solutions to puzzles spoiled (sometimes before I even see the puzzle) ruins that enjoyment for me
@Randinator123 Tears of the Kingdom = low quality garbage Sure lol. As everyone knows the only thing important in a video game is the graphical fidelity and nothing else, who cares if the game itself is good or not /s
@NinjaNicky What kind of BS take is that? Why shouldn't games like BotW, Super Mario Odyssey, TotK, Xenoblade etc not be worth more than 40€/$? I rather spent 60€ on those games that are actually good than 75-80€ on games like Forspoken, Horizon Forbidden West etc whos only thing they are good at are the graphics
@bindiana Actually it does (kinda) matter if you pre-order it months before or not. Many shops will have you pay the lowest price they were offering the game for since you pre-ordered. Let's say you pre-order it 3 months before release for 60$, then they drop the price 2 months before release to 55$ and then raise it again to 60$ 1 months before release. You only have to pay 55$ then, if you only pre-order it 1 week before release you would have to pay 60$
I got Pokemon Sword and Astral Chain for 44€ each for example instead of 60€
@bindiana I pre-order (physical) games because they usually arrive 1-2 days before release. Also there are a lot of games that I simply prefer to have physical instead of digital
@Gamer83 Yeah, I didn't like HFW either and yes I assume all those samey feeling open world games might be partially at fault. If HFW released in 2018 or something I might have liked it but after playing games like HZD, AC: Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla, Ghost of Tsushima etc I've grown tired of them.
Couple that with other problems of HFW like Aloy constantly talking/telling me what to do, the dialogs etc and it really didn't make a good game to me
Good, I really disliked how in FF7R the AI traight up did nothing and you were forced to either switch to them or use the battle menu to give them orders which ruined the flow of the action style combat system
Tried Remote Play once again after quite a few years after the rumors surfaced. Still runs like absolute garbage with my internet
If others have the same problem I'm not surprised that not many are interested in it. Also because you can use remote play on many devices already anyway
Would be interested in that if it were like the Wii U gamepad meaning streaming the game from the console to the handheld but without Wi-Fi But remote play as it is just doesn't work well with my internet

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Hype Huge As Gameplay Reveal Nears 20 Million Views
@theheadofabroom Interesting, for me both Spider-Man games are definitely a 8.5- 9/10 whereas HFW is the definition of "not fun" for me personally
Re: PS5 Fans Were Hoping for an Update on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth This Week
I definitely didn't expect FF7R2 news one month before FF16s release
But I do wonder when they will show it again

I hope we get a new trailer + release date for Stellar Blade
Re: SEGA Could Join Sony in Raising Its Game Prices to $70
I personally don't mind that 10$/€ more for a game if the game is worth that price increase. Problem is that for most games that isn't the case

Not sure if that counts as "not much"

Re: Persona 3 Remake Is Reportedly Real and In Development

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Battle Lead Wants to 'Surpass Final Fantasy 12's Gambit System'
Good, I really disliked how in FF7R the AI traight up did nothing and you were forced to either switch to them or use the battle menu to give them orders which ruined the flow of the action style combat system

Not sure how FF7R (and Crisis Core) qualifies as an anime game. It has neither an anime artstyle nor is it based on an actual anime/manga
