QTEs wouldn't be that bad if the different controllers woulnd't all have different button layouts. Try pressing the X-Button quickly when you are used to play with a Nintendo-, PS and XBox-Controllers lol
Anyway, definitely 60fps for me. 1440p still looks amazing (especially when you are used to play on Switch)
On one side the PS5 will be 4 years old when the PS5 Pro is seemingly supposed to launch which would be a good time to release a Pro model but on the other side it feels like they don't even use the full potential of the base PS5 yet (since there are still so many cross gen games) so I don't really see the point of a Pro model
"Do you personally prefer linear games or open world games?"
That really depends. If it is a good open world I prefer that but sadly most open world games don't actually take proper use of their open world. Most of the time it just feels like running of a checklist
As someone who loves to explore optional stuff in games it's a shame but I guess if the main story itself has more than enough to explore it's not too bad
Haven't played it yet myself but watched a few streams and from what I've seen I'd say the atmosphere is pretty amazing, everything feels so alive and there are so much details put everywhere. Cutscenes are also done pretty well, for example when getting the wand
As a game though it seems very basic, characters look like robots during dialogs, same puzzles copy&pasted everywhere etc.
So far it seems like a 7/10 to me but that might change when I actually play it for myself
It certainly did bother me but Horizon Forbidden West was even worse in that regard
@TripleKing333 One time in HFW I was entering a new room in a cauldron and before I've even properly entered the room Aloy already said "I can use the glider to get to the other side". The game didn't even give me one second to think lol
There are more than enough games currently like FE Engage, Octopath Traveler 2, Nintendo shadow dropping Metroid Prime Remastered didn't help either. Will probably buy it in a sale some day
@get2sammyb Money from Microsoft
I mean if they deal ends up not happening Microsoft could in theory offer (part of) that money for exclusivity deals. Seem to happen quite regulary in gaming anyway.
Don't know if Sony could fight such a deal as well though
Doesn't mean I'm expecting MS to do that though considering that would go against their "10 year deal" ideology
The best thing about Sonys PC ports is that you finally can play those games on a handheld (Steam Deck) since sadly Sony chose to ignore their own last handheld
"Have you bought a 'pro' controller before?" Well I have bought controllers that have "Pro" in their name: the Wii U Pro Controller and Switch Pro Controller
I was really looking forward to it since GoW 2018 is imo the best PS4 first party game but I have given up on GoWR after about 4h.
Atreus constantly told me "Do this, do that" "You go the wrong way" etc. As someone who loves to look around, explore and especially think on my own it really ruined something that would most likely be an amazing game
Yes, completet it and defeated every unique boss. Also it was my first From Software game since I heard it's more accessable than the other games thanks to it's open world
Definitely plan to check out the other Soulsborne games and Sekiro some time
@Uncharted2007 Was it ever confirmed for 2023? As far as I remember the announcement trailer said "Next Winter" which would go from December 2023 - March 2024
But I didn't even play 5 PS games this year. And one of those I played isn't on this list (AI: The Somnium Files 2). And another one is HFW, a game I wouldn't even vote for if my life depends on it

Re: Oh No, 'Exciting' Persona News Has Been Teased Again
The best (or worst) I think we'll get is a global release of that mobile gacha game
Re: Final Fantasy 16 Goes Gold Well Ahead of June Release Date
Remember when Cyberpunk went "gold" ahead of it's release?
But I'm confident in FF16
Re: Joel's Screwed Up Face the Punchline of The Last of Us PC Version

@GrimReaper Wrong hand. But even if it were the right (pun indented) hand it would look nothing like it

@GrimReaper That would contradict that what the director of FF16 (Yoshi-P) himself said though
Re: Ubisoft Helps Out Its Writers by Implementing AI Tech to Do Their Job for Them
Well, the dialogs in their games certainly seem like they are written by an AI

Was GZ originally planned as a prologue to MGSV? Kojima never clarified that in his tweet?

Wanted to buy Judgement (not Lost Judgement), the PS4 version is 50% off, the PS5 version is 0% off (aka the same price as always). Amazing...
Re: This Android App Will Transform Your PS5, PS4 Remote Play Experience
@Grimwood So people owning a Switch or a Steam Deck aren't gamers? Nice gatekeeping
Re: Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores Is Out Soon on PS5, and We've Seen Next to Nothing
Well, we generally don't see a lot about Sonys first party games currently sadly

If only Nintendo would do that with their NSO games...
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Wild Hearts?
@Flaming_Kaiser I'll take that as a compliment
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Wild Hearts?
I played both MH World and Rise and while they are good they didn't really catch me. Therefore I obviously don't need a clone either

Re: Hogwarts Legacy (PS5) - A Harry Potter Dream Come True
I'm surprised. I was kinda expecting it to be a flop (especially if you look at the studios past games) but it seems like it actually good. Nice

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Forspoken?

Even if it would somehow manage to sell well Square Enix would still say "It sold below expectations"

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Is Astonishing and a Massive Game

Re: Rumour: Ex-Leaker The Snitch Reckons Sony Will Announce 'Third Party Stuff' Soon
I'd love to see Stellar Blade. Definitely the third party game I look forward to the most beside FF16

@Kidfried
And it is a survial-horror game which probably automatically turns of most people
Re: Deathverse: Let It Die Going Offline to Be Redeveloped
That game released?
I only remember seeing a pretty horrible trailer for that game
Re: Big Final Fantasy Announcement Teased for 2023, Unrelated to Final Fantasy 7

Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5, PS4 Open World Game of 2022
Elden Ring was the first truly great open world game since BotW imo

Re: Game of the Year: #7 - Sonic Frontiers
Out of all games I played on PS this year (and released this year) I'd rank it 3rd. First would be Elden Ring and second AI: The Somnius Files 2
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Witcher 3 PS5 Version?
Well, it's a 10/10 game (imo) but now even better
Re: Infamous Internet Leaker Retires from Snitching on Major Games
Good. Always hate it when some people spoil major announcements of e.g. a Nntendo Direct or a PS Showcase for a bit internet fame
Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year 2022?
"Sorry, you must select at least 5 options."
But I didn't even play 5 PS games this year. And one of those I played isn't on this list (AI: The Somnium Files 2). And another one is HFW, a game I wouldn't even vote for if my life depends on it

Weird statement considering the update is free
