While it may be a better game now it still saddens me that a lot of those sales most likely were from people who bought the game at release for their PS4/XO and got disappointed
First look? Pretty sure I've seen that design before
But perhaps that was via some leaks
edit: Maybe I should read the article before writing a comment lol
@Brydontk In that regard yes, people will most likely forget. But I'm sure some of those companies whos embargos he broke will sue him and it won't be cheap
@anoyonmus Yeah but Nintendo is Nintendo and Sony is Sony. Nintendo always announced Directs only 1-2 days before (except E3 Direct) whereas Sony usually announces them 1 week in advance
Maybe if I see it in sale for under 10€ like TLoU2 quite often is I might grab it but otherwise I don't really see the point to buy this instead of playing the Remaster, especially since I don't care that much about graphics anyway
I really forgot that this game is still supposed to get DLC
TW3 got two big DLCs within one year and meanwhile CP2077 is almost two years old. Just showes how many things had to be fixed with this game
Does a bonus mission acutally exite someone so much that they would pre-order a AC game just for that. I mean those games have so many side missions anyway, does one more actually matter?
@middyone
"they milk the same franchise and every 3d one is basically the same"
"you people try to make the most barebones description of games into "it's the same thing" it's absolutely hilarious the mental gymnastic ya'll put yourself through"
Ironically you do the same with Mario lol. Can't make this s*** up lol
That being said I'm surprised anyway why they didn't do that sooner. I mean PS5 always sell out immediately anyway and I'm sure they also would sell out if Sony would sell them for 50€/$ whatever more
@SuperPotato316 No because the level layout is completely different. Astrobot (at least that PS5 one) has linear levels whereas SMO has more open levels. Also the movement of those games is entirely different and movement is obviously a crucial part of plattformers. I wouldn't even call SM Odyssey and Galaxy the same because their level design and movement is completely different
Those open world games with with tons of ? marks, similar combat, similar movement, similar quest structure on the other side feel (obviously) very similar to me.
"Yes, they're open world games but that's about it."
Nope, structure of missions are similar, dialog with NPCs are very similar, combat is action based, tons of ? on the map I even remember when they showed of GoT before release and they were infiltrating an enemy base and it showed that yellow arrow that an enemy is about to spot you and I thought "That's exactly like in AC"
@4kgk2 I played all the way through AC Origins, Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn and for me they felt the very same but with different setting Origins had ancient egypt setting, GoT feudal(?) japan and HZD post-apocalyptic robot setting, but other than that they felt the same to me story- and gameplay-wise
It's fine that you feel different about those games, this just just my opinion on those
@RedRiot193 I really don't get why people like to call Assassins Creed games bording or bad when imo games like Horizon Forbidden West or Ghost of Tsushima are basically the same game as AC but just with different skin
I really hope it's better than FF7Rs combat, that one was god aweful. Probably the least enjoyable combat system I've ever seen imo
If it is more in line with something like Nier, DMC or Dark Souls (combat-wise, not difficulty-wise) that would be amazing
And we already know that FF16s combat director worked on DMC5 so there's hope
Tbh I only own two Platinum Trophies: Spider-Man and FFXV
Most of the time getting the last view trophies simply is tedious and therefore not fun. And as Reggie Fils-Aime once said "If it's not fun, why bother?"
@Happymoogle So I'm a huge Pokemon fan but I was heavily dissapointed by SwSh so I tried out Temtem when it was in beta and tbh it was really boring. The music wasn't anything special, the Temtem designs were meh for the most part, way to many battles (it felt like there's a new trainer every 5 meters) etc
The only thing I appreciated was the lack of RNG like accuracy, confusion, paralysis and all that stuff that is in Pokemon
1. AI: The Somnium Files 2 (since it hasn't been released in Europe yet)
2. Souls Hackers 2, probably
3. Sonic Frontiers, if it is good (for a Sonic game)
4. The Witcher 3, one of my favorite games of all time therefore I definitely will replay it once the PS5 version drops
I mean they have a point, if you look at the sales numbers of games like The Witcher 3, BotW, Super Mario Odyssey, RDR2, Spider-Man, God of War etc it's obvious that no one cares about singleplayer anymore

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Codenamed Project Orion Announced
Nice, they didn't learn from their past mistake where they shouldn't announce their games way to early
I mean the DLC for CP2077 hasn't even released yet and despite that they already announce the sequel
Re: Sony Will Continue to Make PS4 Games Moving Forwards
They should just officially rename the PS5 to "PS4 Pro Pro" because that's what it is
Re: There Could Be Many More PS5, PS4 First-Party Leaks Coming
Now we're getting rumors that there may be leaks. Amazing
Re: Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster for PS5 Reportedly in Development
Can't wait for the God of War Ragnarok remake in 1-2 years

It surely was one of the games released in 2021

Re: TV Show Review: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Netflix) - Hyperviolent Anime Is a Perfect 2077 Companion
Maybe I should give this anime a try. While I was dissapoined by the (initial) technical state of CP2077 I actually kinda like the world/lore
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Player Numbers Have Exploded Since the Edgerunners Update
From what I've seen the game has gotten some nice new updates/features since release. Maybe I'll give it another try once the DLC releases
Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS4 Games
I wanted to say "when it comes to exclusives Spider-Man" but then i realized that it's on PC now lol
I guess the two most important games overall for me are Persona 5 (Royal) and The Witcher 3. Absolutely incredible games

Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite PS5, PS4 Game Shown at Sony's Latest State of Play?
Definitely Stellar Blade. It looks so good, especially gameplay wise
Could be a ton of fun
Re: Reaction: Sony's Struck State of Play Gold Not Once, But Twice in a Row
God of War looked really cool but what I'm most excited for is Stellar Blade (aka Project Eve). I really hope that game delivers
Re: Sonic Frontiers Goes Super Sonic in Latest Gameplay Trailer
At least this time Super Sonic isn't DLC lol
Re: Rumour: Lower Your Expectations for Tonight's State of Play
@anoyonmus Yeah but Nintendo is Nintendo and Sony is Sony. Nintendo always announced Directs only 1-2 days before (except E3 Direct) whereas Sony usually announces them 1 week in advance
Re: Rumour: Lower Your Expectations for Tonight's State of Play
Well if it would be a blockbuster event it would be a Plastation Showcase, also they wouldn't just announce it one day in advance
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Last of Us: Part I?
7/10. One point for every 10$ this remake costs

@middyone Care to tell me what wrong about Mario games ?
(Mainline Mario games and Mario Kart, don't care about spin-offs)
Re: Sonic Frontiers Divides Fans with Footage Showing 'Copy-Pasted' Level Design
Tbh in case there are lots of Cyberspace levels I did not expect them to only make brand new linear levels + a brand new open world anyway
Re: PS5 Price Increase Confirmed for UK, Europe, Japan, Canada, and More
@spcspc I could also affort it if Sony would raise the price to 1000€ and the price of games to 100€.
Doesn't mean I would be happy with that and buy it for that price so that argument is pointless
Re: PS5 Price Increase Confirmed for UK, Europe, Japan, Canada, and More
Wonder how people are going to defend that one
That being said I'm surprised anyway why they didn't do that sooner. I mean PS5 always sell out immediately anyway and I'm sure they also would sell out if Sony would sell them for 50€/$ whatever more

Re: Poll: Was Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 Any Good?
Shows like Summer Games Fest and Gamescom ONL make me realize how little games threre are I actually care about.
The only game in the entire show I potentially care about is Sonic Frontiers and even that one only if it turns out good enough
Re: Sonic Frontiers Release Date Leaked, Launches the Day Before God of War Ragnarok
Not to mention only 10 days before Pokemon
Re: What Time Is Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022?
@Carl-G "Thanks for letting me know the time because I can avoid it then "
That's logic behind my comprehension. Wouldn't you be able to avoid it if you didn't know the time?

Re: Soul Hackers 2 (PS5) - SMT on a Budget
Good, now I know that I don't need to buy this
I really liked SMT5 and I love the Persona series but everything I've seen so far about SH2 didn't convince me since it looked so generic and edgy.
I considered getting it if it reviews really well but a 7/10 (or a 75/100 on Metacritic) is a "I'll just skip it" in this case

Re: The Witcher 3 Livestream Set for This Week
Hope we finally get a release date for that PS5 version. One of the best games of all time imo
Re: Rumour: Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 Version Also Ditched for GTA 6

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Is a PS5 Exclusive to Ensure 'Comfortable' Travel Across a 'Vast World'
The PS5 is 3 years old when this game releases, I sure hope developers leave last gen behind at this point
Re: Feature: Your Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games for the Rest of 2022
The only game on that list I'm really looking forward to is TW3, a game I've already finished 3 times lol
Re: Feature: What Are Your Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games for the Rest of 2022?
No particular order:

Oh, wait...
