I'll be honest. Sony's marketing in general over the last few years has been really really weird and all over the place. This is just another example of it.
You're launching a new pretty big service, and basically talk nothing of it. Not even in the regions where its live have the marketing been good.
Nice to see they want to bring them over. But yeah. They either need a new publisher in the west, or have two different teams bring them over. NISA is taking on way to many games at a time, so the releases take ages cause they are spreading themselves to thin, and often the localization isn't even great either (Geofront is good though).
Feel like this is the internet in a nutshell nowadays. Tiny bit of info and people already ***** on it without seeing anything at all. Sad times honestly.
Would honestly be crazy if the west would get all these Falcom games as well (the one released in English of course). But yeah, unfortunately don't see it happening. Seem like it would be way to good. Lol
Have never played this, or any other Romancing Saga games (other then the gacha game). I do own 2 for Switch however (bloody backlog). I am honestly glad that Square Enix is going all-in on bringing out these older games, even if their remasters are a bit hit or miss at times.
Not a good idea to put God of War on the new PS+ service and then give it away here as well (its also available on PS Collection..). But at least it's not a terrible line-up of games.
Really wish we had more devs similar to Supermassive Games who make interactive horror movie-games. They are always such a good time. Super stoked for this!
If this turns out to be true, then im glad for PC players and Housemarque. More people should experience the game It's amazing. Heck, I'd probably double dip and replay it on PC as well.
I wouldn't be surprised honestly. I know majority hate mobile games (I personally like them), but the market is there and its massive. So it makes sense to do more mobile stuff.
Still find it stupid you have to pay to try a game trial (Does people even know what demos are anymore? Apparently not).
But with that said, a 5 hour trial seem pretty damn generous.
Still highly doubt its gonna be any better then the beta was a year ago so my interest is still not there. But hey, at least they didn't cancel it without saying anything (and screwing Village owners out of a free bonus game). So that's something I suppose?
I'll be honest: Even at this price, not really worth it. After an hour of gameplay you have experienced the entire game. The game is literally 10% story and 90% collectibles. Even Ubisoft open-world collectibles were more fun then this.
This feels like a very double edged thing. Its gonna turn developers away, no doubt since it seem like they are being forced to do it.
But on the other hand, it will be nice, cause you can try a game before dropping £60+ on it. (And yes. Its still dumb its part of Premium-whatever Sony calls it. It should be a free thing..)
Tomizawa seem like a overall really good guy, listening to the fans and caring about Tales (and the other titles he work on). And making a sequel wouldn't sit well with most fans. And im glad he's still sticking with it. Not all games needs a sequel just because its successful.
If those prices turn out to be correct, its not terrible. But it REALLY needs to live up the cost and keep at it. Also still really hope Crunchyroll gets added into the mix. That would definitely seal the deal for me.
That said: I don't believe this is being announced next week. We've seen it for way to long, and it never happened. It was also rumoured to be announced during last State Of Play, and look. Nothing there either.
Returned yeah. And almost "beat" it on my first try. So not super difficult. But its fun to play the game again. Still one of my favorites from last year.
I do hope they patch it though. Sometimes you enter a new area only to have a ridiculous enemy, or mini-boss spawn right next to you, which doesn't really seem totally fair. But other then that, its brilliant.
I get what you are saying but also, has to say you are not correct.
Souls games, and Elden Ring HAS a story. But its hidden, and you need to SEARCH for it. You need to connect the pieces yourself. The story doesn't get shoved in your face. It's fair if that's not yours, or anyone elses cup of tea. But saying it has no story, really isn't fair, or correct.
Obviously not played Ghostwire yet, so can't comment the review is correct on that part.
Also this review seem to be one of the lower ones, while the rest are between 7-8s. So can take that as you will. 6 is still decent though. Don't get how people say how this "bombed". Nowadays anything below 9 means a game is garbage apparently.
Bummer. Game looked really good. And I mean 6 is good, but still expected a bit better. Still gonna pick it up though. The art-style alone does it for me.
This was definitely a huge surprise. Glad to see they didn't just abandon the game. Hopefully the tower really kicks up the difficulty! And Co-op was a nice surprise. Bit sad you can't co-op the tower though.
Its cool and all. But also bad seeing as they already said 80% of Funimation/Wakanim's library is only coming over. Not to forget, we now have to pay DOUBLE what we paid with Funi/Wakanim..
Like Leon_93 asked, how's the FPS on Ps5? Nobody seem to cover that which is honestly pretty important.
Edit: After some Youtube comment digging (What a horrible thing to do fyi), it seem the game is actually once again, 30 FPS on PS5. Koei is so lazy, its insane.
Who and why does anyone even look at Metacritic...? Just don't. The site is horrible, and they have done nothing to address this review bomb issue that has been going on for years.
Glad to see the success of this. It's a brilliant demake. Clearly a ton of effort was put into it. Im still amazed Sony hasn't hit them with a takedown (yet). Hopefully they won't.
Im assuming like others this is just the start, and more features will be added later. Cool and all being able to see what others are playing, but would be nice to have a decent VOIP on the platform.
Don't care for Bungie. But honestly don't like where this is going anymore. Gaming is gonna turn to absolute garbage fast at this rate (more then it already is)
The fact that Godfall Trial Edition went through even after all the backlash was a horrible sign. And then this? Yeah. This is really not looking good. Considering the cost of PS+, we should get some higher priced/praised games. Giving a Trial Edition, and then a cheap DLC, even if its good really isn't okay.
Cheaper games are fine to give away IF the quality is justified for it. And while Tiny Tina may be good, like mentioned, it's been part of The Handsome Edition before. But again, its a flipping DLC. Good marketing for Gearbox though with the upcoming game. But really, really poor look on Sony.
Planet Coaster is cool to see. But Tiny Tina? A DLC, turned standalone? That's almost as ridiculous as Godfall Trial Edition. OH well. Glad I don't have PS+ for the time being.

Re: The Callisto Protocol PS5, PS4 Gameplay Footage Is Gloriously Gory
This game looks so ridiculously good. Almost to the point it seem unreal. Its basically a beefed up version of Dead Space, and im all in for it.
Re: Street Fighter 6 Welcomes America's Hero, Now With Facial Hair
I still hate Guile cause he sucks to fight against. But he does look really good. Capcom is really going all out with SF6, and it shows already.
Re: Falcom on Bringing Kuro Trails Games West: 'Of Course We Intend To'

Re: Genshin Impact Dev's New Action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will Zip into Summer Game Fest
Seeing how Genshin has been doing, it would be silly not to release this on PS4/5 (and maybe Xbox this time around?)
Still hope Honkai Star Rail gets a trailer as well.
Re: First Hands-On Impressions of Sonic Frontiers Are Mostly Positive
I still don't quiet get how this looks fun or even good.
To me it looks like a tech demo, and not really a game?
I do hope its good for the fans though. But just know, this definitely ain't for me.
Re: Round Up: The Quarry Reviews Say It's As Good As Until Dawn
@thefourfoldroot1
Well. Guess i'll wait for a sale then. That's a real shame /:
Re: Round Up: The Quarry Reviews Say It's As Good As Until Dawn
Happy to see some good scores. And apparently its also pretty long which is a really nice surprise.
Still wish I knew if there was a free PS4 to 5 upgrade, since the PS4 version of the game is waaaay cheaper then the PS5 version.
Re: Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 PS5 Versions Probably Out Next Week
I literally just re-installed RE3 to play through it yesterday.. Guess I may as well wait then. Lol

Re: Sony Bend Hints at New IP During Its Logo Unveiling
No actual bending in the logo? Disappointing!
Seriously though, glad to see a Logo that isn't super simple (Like Bandai's ugly new logo)
Re: Here's a Better Look at That New Resident Evil Netflix Show
It looks better then the last trailer they showed.
But it still has basically nothing to do with Resident Evil.

Yikes. Couldn't they at least have some sort of standard.
Re: Ubisoft+ Is Coming to PS5, PS4, with 50 Classics Free for PS Plus Extra, Premium By the End of the Year
Not the biggest fan of most Ubisoft games, but its nice to see this being bundled into the new service. Good on them for jumping onboard!

Yeah okay. Cause he totally doesn't have to say that or anything. Lol
CDPR used to be trustworhty. But nowadays they really can't be. Lies, excuses left and right.

Re: Chrono Cross Remaster Doesn't Have the Original Soundtrack After All

Well, it does have a physical release. But Switch and Asia only (so far)
But yeah. The fact there's no EU/NA physical is a real deal breaker honestly.
Re: PS Plus, PS Now Merged Service Revealed, Goes Live in June
The yearly price isn't as bad as I thought it would be. But their currency conversion is HORRIBLE as per usual.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Elden Ring?
Its a 10 for me, even with the performance issues.
Best souls-like game? Absolutely. However Bloodborne still has the best WORLD setting imo.
