@hypnotoad You aren’t alone. I drink copious amounts of tea and coffee throughout the day. For breakfast though I usually try and get a cup of tea in before and a coffee after.

It truly is a new way to experience music. There's some really magical moments which makes me think that this actually worked better as an app than it would of as a physical exhibition. I keep having half an hour here and there just exploring to see if there's anything I've missed.

Shame no trophies as I would have been intrigued to see what they could have been.

Replaying Control but the UE edition this time round. I’ve also got The Persistence on the go and have received my copy of GotG so might have to take a look at that 😁

@ThorsHammer Unfortunately only on a flat screen so I’m definitely missing out on some of the experience. The confined spaces and small FOV already create that feeling of dread and claustrophobia and I can imagine it would be even better in VR. Did you play in VR?

@NateGoesLive You can definitely tell it’s made for VR first but there’s still a good game underneath. What makes it slightly frustrating is the walking speed and not being able to run!

I’ll be jumping back into The Persistence, maybe trying to get some more online wins in Wreckfest and progressing Control. Alongside that I’ll be deciding what to buy from the PS store sale 🤔

Ooooh... gonna have to get Guardians if there's a reasonable discount.

I generally rely on finding out about interesting PS blog posts from other places e.g. here or twitter. There can be some great developer insights / interviews on there but those are few and far between.

It's more a place to get that corporate style information out there than it is for exciting announcements.

I haven't played Deathloop yet but according to these nominations it's a damn good game!

Hoping Returnal gets some praise. There’s been other great games but nothing ground breaking like that game.

Been playing The Persistence and quite enjoying it. I almost managed the third objective yesterday but not quite so will be trying that again later.

So many people picking the right answer: Returnal, Demon’s Souls and Astro.

Had it since day 1 and still playing it pretty much every day, and if not me then another member of the family. It's so much better than the base PS4 we had before. Loading speeds are amazing, the controller is great (even though I've had two that have had drift), and being able to play games at 60 fps.

I did end up splashing out for an m2 drive though as the internal storage wasn't quite enough for all of us to get what we wanted to play on there. It was totally worth it though.

Radiohead fan here... and errr nope I definitely can't explain more! Looking forward to taking a look however bizarre it is.

Perhaps there are some people that are moving that way but there's definitely people moving the other way too.

It's been a few years since I've owned a PC but now I prefer to spend my time actually playing games rather than messing around with trying to make Windows and games work with the hardware. I'd only bother switching back to PC if something like the Steam Deck gets traction as that makes PC gaming as straightforward as console gaming.

Shame they don't have a PS5 waiting list on here though, especially as they could do it with a valid PSN ID.

These designs look amazing and varied. I'm really hoping that there's as much variety in how you take these new machines down and that the gameplay is as good as it looks.

Ah it was just a matter of time before people started doing this. I remember when it was discovered that version 1.0 had the dev console and people were trying to exploit that. It’s just one of those things and those that take those routes are really just cheating themselves.

And that’s fair enough if they are happy with that. It doesn’t effect any of us that completed the game the hard way, we know we did it. I’d have been disappointed if I’d have resorted to doing that personally as I feel I’d have missed out on part of the experience. Knowing that death means having to go back to the beginning puts extra pressure on you but also brings greater rewards.

Still it’s nice to know that others are getting to appreciate this amazing game.

Excellent additions. It would be even better if they could produce apps for macOS and iOS. I've been using remote play a bit on the PS5 via both of those Apple OSes and it's been working pretty well so shame that they haven't done the same for Now.

Bonus, will give it a try. Be good to see what this now first party studio can do.

Definitely worthy of plenty of GOTY awards. Hopefully more will follow.

Still playing through Alan Wake. I also started playing Wreckfest which is surprisingly enjoyable.

I’ve not been into driving games since GT2 and some of the earlier GTA games but I’m loving this. It’s got some great controller feedback and the in car view is great as it not only makes the game more challenging but also more fun as you can’t always see what’s coming up so easily.

Now I just need to play it properly rather than just smashing stuff up 😆

The story is the part I'm interested in so it doesn't disappoint me too much that the combat isn't great. Still worth a look for the price.

There’s some good games being put on Now recently. I can totally understand why Sony don’t put all there exclusives on the service as more people would stop buying them full price and just wait. Even so having them cycle through them does give some good choice and means that if you are on the fence about a particular game then you can try it.

It's a tough choice but if I had to pick one I'd say Housemarque. All these studios sharing ideas though should lead to some amazing output.

USB saves, application pinning and possibly discord integration are the things I'd go for.

VRR scored higher than I thought it would. There must be a lot of people out there with brand new TVs. It does seem that most games on PS5 don't suffer too much without it though as the only one I've found to cause issues so far is subnautica.

I'm interested to see what they make of this. It sounds like a possibly unique experience.

I really think they should start putting games like this on PS+ as part of the PS+ Collection. That would be a great reason for people to stay subscribed then as you have to pay for online anyway, but it makes it look like great value for money as well when you get some exclusive online games to play too.

They could then throw in something like a bonus skin each month you stay subscribed or something like that.

Got it but I’ve still got to finish the directors cut of Ghost so will do that first. Looking forward to this again though.

@Throb I think I saw somewhere that you would be able to import your PS4 game save. Hopefully that's the case.

I love the Spider-Man games and will probably play the next one and Wolverine but generally I'm all Marvelled out. I got that way with the films because now they are all intertwined you end up having to watch all of them to get the whole story. I just like that games are separate from film / TV so you don't end up with the same thing across them all.

Be playing some more GoT Iki and trying to get some more escape attempts in on Hades. So pretty much the same as last weekend then 😆
