My god, Bioware used to be such an amazing studio, just look at their work on Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR. Heck, even the Dragon Age series were pretty awesome but then came EA and turned this studio into a mess. Can we say that it's all EA's fault? Of course not. But they clearly had a hand in it.

I need to see more. I love Far Cry games but the formula has become a little bit stale lately. If it's the same gameplay with a different setting without anything new - I'll wait for a sale.

These are all assumptions at the end of the day. RiME had a troubled development and I can understand if Sony decided to call it quits where they saw little progress being made while their money is being spent. I'm glad it turned out great but you can see why such things happen. Housemarque perhaps like you've already mentioned wanted to keep this game in-house and that's understandable. But yeah, Sony should seriously just buy them.

Based on the trailers it is a mix of the Last of Us and GTA style gameplay. Sign me up!!

@get2sammyb Components cost roughly $500, so I highly doubt that Microsoft will sell Scorpio which IS a niche product at a loss of $100 per unit (considering they will price it at $400). I expect it to be $500 to $600, that way, Microsoft can at least break even on each console sold, if not earn something from each sale.

@kyleforrester87 Neverwinter Nights was pure awesomeness. The close they came to achieving this was KOTOR and that's about it. The quality fell pretty much thereafter and after they were acquired by EA.

I think I've spent at least 5 hours in photo mode on my first 70 hour playthrough. Photo Mode is just too addicting for a game as beautiful as Horizon: Zero Dawn, a must buy for any PS4 owner.

I actually liked it, but I have to agree with the review, some balancing issues are keeping this game from becoming truly great.

Day one!

If they make it sizable, like in the Witcher 3 DLCs, then they can have my money on day one! I'm sure they're already discussing ideas for a sequel - but if they can spare resources to make a DLC, I hope that by all means they do. Otherwise, just focus on Horizon 2: One Dawn!

I would imagine that the Switch will be a second console for most people. I don't see how it can be a main console for anyone, considering there won't be third party support (yeah, good luck running Mass Effect on that thing) besides indies and smaller titles - so it all comes down to how much you depend on first party Nintendo games.

I see myself getting it when it drops to $200 or so.

@get2sammyb if Sony are smart they'll outright should buy the exclusivity rights for Crash on PS4. Not just a one year deal but full on exclusivity.

@Shadowsoul83 Even better graphics since the 4k is going to downscale to 1080p screens. So we get all that plus the faster loading times, increased distance view and enhanced lighting.
