Re: 13 PS5, PS4 Games Set to Leave PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Month

Judgement was on the subscription, then left. Then returned and is now leaving again. I know this is the case because I remember I had to scramble to finish the game the first time it was leaving the sub. I guess Sony "rents" out these games for a period of time and if they decide it was worth it to have them on, they rent them out again. Putting this thought into practice, we can likely predict which games will return to the service at some point in the future and which ones are leaving permanently.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta?

I absolutely loved how easy it was to start playing with other people, regardless of the platform they play on. Obviously performance sucked a bit but hopefully Capcom will get that sorted by the time the game is ready to ship. I am definitely buying this one because I know I'm going to get hundreds of hours out of it. Even at $70 this won't be a rip-off purchase that I'll only spend like 20 hours on.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta?

I played it and beat all 4(?) monsters. Not sure if there are any more hidden away but I'm pretty convinced I'll enjoy it now. I played Rise on the switch so I guess I'm just used to how bad everything looks.

Normally I prefer to know every monster's weakness before facing them and kitting myself out appropriately but you obviously can't do that with only one weapon so I kind of struggled but I did solo 3 of them. I can probably solo the 4th too but honestly I don't mind having a team for that one.

Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5) - The Best BioWare Game Since Mass Effect 3

@Maubari
I don't think people were saying it was going to be a terrible game mechanics-wise. The complaints seem to be on the aesthetics. Just look at Concord, it wasn't a bad game mechanics wise...it just wasn't pretty to look at. Let's also take a look at the first descendant which push square didn't like...and still did incredibly well. Sometimes a game's look is all it needs to be successful and the popular consensus seems to be that people just don't enjoy this one's look.

Re: TV Show Review: Like a Dragon: Yakuza - Generic Japanese Crime Caper Doesn't Do SEGA Franchise Justice

@TruestoryYep
But how many people play through the games without delving into the side content? Without exploring Kamurocho? At certain points the game even forces you to at least play through the tutorials of the side missions, so you are introduced to them. They seem purpose placed to take some of that edge off. A good formula for the Yakuza show would be a few episodes of gritty serious story...and then an episode where Majima tries to help a hostess club reach #1 or something. Then again I guess it would be kind of weird to translate to tv...I dunno, I think I'll just play a Yakuza game instead.
