It’s crazy to me how some celebrate a game failing because they don’t like the premise. Just really odd behavior. That I see mostly on this site for some reason…

What’s crazy to me is all the folks who still say this gen is a flop due to lack of games.

People are gonna lose their jobs. But at least everyone who wanted the game to fail got their wish 🤷🏾‍♂️

I was waiting for PS Stars to become available for the purchase. Stars updated today and there’s 50 Stars for the Outlaws purchase. It’s not enough, but it’s more than 0.

I wanted to love this. Really did! But the demo put me off it. But there are so many other games out there right now I can enjoy.

Growing pains. If they like the game, they’ll stick around. If not…

I’m hoping there’s a Stars thing for this game. But I’d not pay double for it.

@Lup yeah, that’s ridiculous. However, when the person says “Press X to win” and X is the jump button that’s also ridiculous. I dunno though, maybe the main character is big and his jump does damage?

@Realist the character is allowed to be ugly if he’s male. Female characters have to be out of your league beautiful for the game will be review bombed to oblivion.

I was super excited for this. Then I played the demo. There are some mediocre games I can get into. This isn’t one of them.

From reading these comments I’ve come to the conclusion that if I don’t like a game I have to HATE it and hope for its failure. 😒

FPS kills this.

People are really like “Oh, Sony is so bad!” Like, which company is good? They’re all like this! And the all holy Nintendo is the worst! It sucks what they’re doing to Stars but it is what it is. Can’t really be pissed when something that’s already free changes to a different thing that’s still also free. I mean, you can get mad. But I won’t.

My ESO+ subscription and Premium are how I gain most of my points. This is absolute BS!

I know I’m 100% getting this, so I don’t wanna see any of it. But damn, these comments really make me want to click the play button.

I spent about 2 hours creating a character in Black Desert Online. Then I played the actual game for roughly 45 minutes and never played it again. Still, I’m willing to give this a try.

@rjejr NO!!!! Skyrim is not an FP game! I’ve never played it that way and it doesn’t exist in that way! Do not ruin one of my favorites but categorizing it as such lol. I play a lot of ESO and I know some people who play it in FP mode. With all the dodging and moving you have to do in that game I can’t see how that’s even possible.

@rjejr FPS games are so flat and basic. In my opinion, of course. Traversal is weak, main character always moves the same, and I want to be more than just a hand on the screen. I especially hate FPS games that allow the player to customize the character. WHY?!

I can only imagine what life would’ve been like for Atari and Nintendo if the internet was easily accessible back in the 80s. The way those consoles barely worked. There’d probably have been suicides. Humanity is a stain!

@rjejr I hear you about FPS games. First person view makes any game that uses it an automatic skip for me.

@NEStalgia funnily enough, I’ve always been against the “Netflixification” of gaming. I’ve always hated the idea of putting games out strictly behind a monthly subscription. Sure it’s cool when only 1 publisher is doing it. But then when you need twenty $20 monthly subs to play the games you want it’s awful.

The way people were praising Gamepass and saying how Sony needs to follow suit was so puzzling to me. It’s clearly not a sustainable way to do business. And genius Phil was always everyone’s hero. Every Xbox fans hero. Now how will they feel when they (eventually) HAVE TO go to PS to play Xbox games?!

@MrGawain and I bet, with all the facts you’ve stated, that Philk will be CEO of another huge company when this is all said and done.

Still see a ton of people who say there are no games to play. I think there are too many coming out and this will lead many to fail.

When it comes to gaming, Disney/Marvel/Star Wars, you’re always gonna get mostly negative when you poll people 🤣 it’s wild!

@Stevey_Mac but that’s choice though. People who’ve already played it, such as myself, can wait for this version to be discontinued. Folks need to the game can purchase this one and get some new content and graphical upgrades, or they can find the old game at a much lower price.

@nick_dizel lol yeah. If it’s complaining about wanting a “true” next gen game with true to life graphics. It’s complaining that said game cost more because the budget was so high. Or there’s the clamoring for retro games, then when they’re released nobody plays them. At this point I believe gamers have more fun being gaming contrarians than actually playing games.

I didn’t intend to buy this either way. But damn, if there are people willing to spend $60/£60 on it then let them do them. I’m always puzzled by people who get pissed off by how other people spend their own money.

I’m just here to whine that no new games are coming out but then pine for retro games and have more interest in them than the new games that do come out.

@Atreus97 I got the platinum for The Witcher III 5 times. Twice on my old PSN account. Then I changed accounts because Sony didn’t allow name changes at the time. Got the platinum twice more. Then got it once more after the PS5 upgrade release. Unfortunately, the PS5 upgrade doesn’t allow for an individual platinum on both the base game and the GOTY edition. If they did, it would be 6 times.

@playstation1995 I honestly think only you and I believe this lol. It's been hard to find anyone who's excited for this game as I am.

I don't know what to do with myself these days. I've waited years, decades even, for a ne Dragon Age and a new Dragon's Dogma. Now both are here and I'm still addicted to ESO. Not to mention I'm excited for Star Wars: Outlaws. I guess I'm just one of those gamers who aren't down on gaming as it pertains to not having anything to play. I have too much to play and don't play anything at all since I can't play t hem all. Also, is the way things work now that if anything good is said about something that means it's bad? Because that's the general consensus in this thread lol.

One of my favorite online multiplayers. And Uncharted as well. Was so hyped to play Factions with my son and my nephews. Like we used to back in the day.

GTA IV is crazy! It’s almost like it ships with every console sold.

@DennisReynolds exactly! He’s supposed to be emotionless and unnatural. It’s part of being a Witcher. In fact, I don’t like the times in which he does show emotion. He’s not supposed to.

This series absolutely did not need a movie! Should’ve been a straight-to-streaming film from Uwe Boll.

I’ve always hated the “Streamification” of gaming. I watched as we went from Netflix only to now having to have 5 or 6 different services to watch what we wanna watch. Who wants to have to subscribe to each dev’s service to play their games? Or each console-makers service? Don’t like it one bit!
