@Northern_munkey I feel like the way Diablo III was linear made it more appealing to me than Diablo IV. I'm already engrossed in another MMO and don't have to time play 2 at once. Or at least something similar to an MMO. It really put me off the game.

@Northern_munkey Really? I played the hell out of Diablo III and never ran into any other players who weren't playing with me. The whole "city hub" thing wasn't a part of Diablo III IIRC.

This game was so wonky and hard to have fun with that it completely put me off of Elder Scrolls. Skyrim had the same affect on me. Bought it 5 different times because I wanted to love it.

After playing Witcher IV I gave Skyrim another shot and loved it. After Skyrim, I got into ESO and despised it! Called it the most boring game I'd ever played. Now, for the past 3 years, ESO is most most played game every month in my PS wrap up lol. Persistence is the key! Still hate Oblivion though.

I have both but have yet to play Path of Exile. Is it faux MMO like Diablo? Because that's one thing they did to Diablo that put me off.

@BeerMonster that's how a headline is supposed to be formatted. It's a title! I'm even more impressed that Push doesn't capitalize the words that shouldn't be capilalized. Words such as "or", "to", and "the". Although, in some cases "the" should be stated as "The". Real nerd stuff ova hea!

Great series! Absolutely loved Idris Elba as Knucks and can't imagine I won't feel the same about the cat Keanu as Shadaloo.

@LifeGirl this argument reminds me of the people who say “You know Republicans freed the slaves, right?!” And I always ask them why they have to go back generations to find an example of when “that side” did something for the people they now kind of loathe.

Anyway, all those you’ve mentioned are decades old. Times were different. Cast a “Ripley” today who’s a bald, masculine female and people would despise her! Nostalgia keeps Sara Conner and Ripley dear to people. They’re from a less ridiculous time.

And don’t pretend like Lara Croft wasn’t beloved because of her triangular-shaped chest area and short shorts. Hell, when they remade her for the newer Tomb Raider games and made her less sexual, guess what? THERE WERE COMPLAINTS!

@themightyant I’m late to the post here. But I know exact why they say “Where are all the male protagonists?” even though they’re still 99% of protagonists in games. It’s because you have a group of people who are so entitled and are so accustomed to always being the lead that when 97 out of 100 times, they get the spotlight, they only focus on the 3 times they don’t get the spotlight.

They see themselves at the “default”, and if developers stray from this default, it’s obvious a conscious decision was made to not include them. This pisses them off every time!

Also, it’s hilarious how this lot love to call people “snowflakes” when some object to blatant objectification of women (like in Stellar Blade). Yet, the folks who object to this type of thing don’t go on crusades like this to try and destroy the game. These people are so insane and incredibly stupid!

@themightyant the cry woke, DEI folks sometimes use that to mask the mask the misogyny, racism, and anti-Semitism. They’ve been emboldened to be upfront about it in recent months.

@Shad361 people most certainly want live service games. There are just so many to choose from so it leads to the failure of a lot of them.

@SillyBoyJudas I’ve stated a few times that I was only kidding about what I said. Also, I felt the same about Forspoken. The demo put me off more so than the reviews. Reviews are someone else’s opinion. I played for myself and decided against it.

Now, The Witcher 3 is my all time favorite game! So much so that I have a shortcut saved in my phone for while I have to type “The Witcher 3” because I talk about it so often lol. Amazing game and you can get lost in the world for hours. Give it a go! You will not be disappointed!

OMG I thought the title said “Midnight Club”. I gasped in adulation. Then I was met with disappointment lol.

Midnight Club is my favorite racing series and I’d love for them to revive it. Midnight Club: Los Angeles goes down in history as my first ever platinum trophy.

I’ll be honest here, I’ve never looked at a game character and thought “I wish he were female”or “I wish she were male“. Like, when did that become a thing? I’ve been a black male all of my 43 years and I’ve been able to play male and female characters of every racial background and not give two sheets. Why is that so important to people now?!

We want day one releases! We don’t want games that we decided to it play when they were released ages ago!

@Matroska it looks “generic” because there’s no jiggle physics. The focus of the game needs to be how scantily clad you can make the main female lead. Sound familiar?

@Bramble I agree. I think the only film I've seen since Endgame is Wakanda Forever. I'm over the genre as well. I once read somewhere that said watching Marvel Films after Endgame is like doing side quests after you've finished the main story. It's just unnecessary lol.

Anyone who watched the Nathan Fillion fan film and though it was "perfect" has got to be kidding themselves! It was OK, for sure. But you could tell you were looking at an over the hill actor trying to do action scenes. Then again, I'm sure an actual film would use stunt doubles for those shots. Still...

Played Elder Scrolls Online 187 hours in March MURDAH!!!

Elder Scrolls Online my top game every month with the only December being the month with fewer than 100 hours. But, there’s still time lol.

Played 67 games:
1. Elder Scrolls Online 1,473 hours
2. Horizon: Forbidden West 401 hours
3. Jedi: Survivor 37 hours
4. Suicide Squad 17 hours (never even played this game…)
5. Star Wars: Outlaws 12 hours

Sony has made so many games that I don’t care about! But I spend more time playing the games I do care about rather than complaining about the ones I don’t care about. So all that “this gen is a failure” nonsense is just a figment of people’s imaginations. PS has never been bigger as a brand and it’s as popular as ever. Deal with it! lowers pixelated shades

I have all but Gran Taurismo and Stellar Blade. I’d love to see Forbidden West on my Pro but I platinum’d it before the Pro released and I played it on the PS+ Premium subscription, which no longer has the game available.
