I don't get why everyone is discussing remakes in an article about an expanding studio that can help create art assets for other Playstation Studio?

Just replaying it again on PS5 this time. I look forward to seeing where they take it with the sequel.

I still have my Atari Lynx tucked away somewhere. I didn't buy it, I won it off the Big Breakfast.

I like playing a short, chill game every now and then and gave this a go as it is a PS+ game. Completed it over a couple of days and really enjoyed it. I will jump back in for this.

I'm at least optimistic it will be a solid return to the series' roots but time will tell.

I was thinking about finally getting around to starting it soon so will see what's new.

Assuming the third series of The Witcher releases in December like the first 2, I think they are probably planning on revealing/releasing the PS5 update then.

I played the first as it was one of the free PS+ games. Got into it so much I got the platinum. Will be up for throwing them some money for this.
Great game for when you only have 15-30 minutes to mess around with.

I hope it turns out good. Maybe it can drum up enough interest for Spielberg to do another film, I thought it was a lot of fun.

It's strange, I love X-Com, I really enjoyed the card game based Thronebreaker (Gwent) and I like a lot of Marvel stuff but I just have very little enthusiasm for this.
I will have to keep an eye on the reviews or see if they do a demo to maybe raise my interest.

The very few I gave out and received were all for Wreckfest. Judging by the comments was it only dangerous drivers giving them out?

I’ve only seen the first episode so far and wasn’t exactly engaged with it. The scene in the headmaster’s office was about the only time I was engrossed by it. I’ll probably see where it goes at some point but I don’t feel any strong desire to carry on with it at the moment.

I hope I get to say this next June.

I'd never heard of Nacon Studio Milan so did a quick google and it seems they've only made a motor-bike racing game. Still you got to start somewhere.

Looks like they have a pretty cool looking Murphy/Robocop ....for cutscenes. Shame it's a FPS but I'll keep an eye out on it to see how it turns out.

@LiamCroft Yeah, I was only messing around. Whilst I don't doubt there are some in the company that don't like stuff leaking they're not going to change plans because of it.
Everyone was just assuming today from the 30 anyway.

Maybe they moved it a day to make the Snitch wrong.

@CyberWolf Yes. When you put the disc in there will be an option to download the PS5 version. You will still have to have the disc in to play though.

I'm going to need the collectibles guide. I did a collectible run-through before but somehow came up a couple short and if I remember correctly the game doesn't say which.

Just rebooted my PS5 and it's working now

I already had RE3R installed so had a look. A compilation icon appears with a box for PS5 upgrade but when I select it the options then are 'play' and 'view PS5 version' but selecting the later just takes you to the game page. Guess not quite up yet.

Was planning some more playthroughs of 2&3 Remakes for trophies anyway so can do it with the upgrades now. Probably 7 too.

Looking forward to this but a little surprised by no date.

I was really excited when I heard it was from the XCOM developers. Then I heard it's card based and my enthusiasm waned. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Well Sony is on the list of developers/publishers in the show so why not this. A quick teaser with a date and saying more to follow soon. Get everyone talking about a Sony game at a mixed event then put out a SoP in a month or two for the full blow out.
The precedent has been set with Horizon doing the date at one of these.

While I do very much miss the excitement of having lots of game reveals in a space of a few days there is no doubt it's demise is for the benefit of the developers. The time and effort that went into producing the vertical slices of polished gameplay for a specific date each year must have been a pain. Now they can reveal stuff whenever it happens to be ready for public showing.

How much notice do people need to buy something? I can easily see an August or even very early September release date reveal if it's coming out in November.

@Voltan I liked the first movie, I've not yet seen the sequel. I think the series is worth checking out, I enjoyed it.

@Voltan I recently watched Pacific Rim: The Black made by Netflix and think that style could work well with Horizon. You're right that to do it well in live action would probably be extremely expensive.

They should of got Rob from Playstation Access for the voice. He does a more accurate impression of Serkis' Gollum.

I've certainly been finding myself looking for more chilled relaxing games to play alongside the big games. Looks interesting.

If it had been just the first quote I was thinking he could have meant second game (not necessarily DS related) but the next quote is pretty unambiguous.

It's about time Lara took on a T-Rex with some pistols again.

Wouldn't be surprised if they are planning on trying to get it ready for when the third Netflix series launches (which I think is near the end of the year) for the extra exposure to the franchise as a whole.

I’ve never played the original but only heard good things. Eager to see how this turns out.

I brought Mutant Year Zero as I absolutely love the X-Com games. However I hit a massive wall about an hour into the game and just couldn't progress and although planned to give it another shot I've yet to get back to it. I'll be curious to see how this one develops as I really liked the element of exploration between battles.

Top Spin 4 would be a remaster I would buy in a heart beat.

I wonder if this could be the first of many sets. I’m definitely getting this.

It would be nice to finally take the game out of the wrapper. I still hold out hope they can turn this game around and regain some reputation.

@Voltan that's pretty much all I want to know before starting a game. Missable trophies can be a pain.

It seems quite sensible to have a team of devs that can be easily moved from project to project to help other Studios meet deadlines.
