@get2sammyb The PS6 will be a thing and likely a PS7 as long as the PS6 sell like the PS5 but the handheld PS6 is the rumour here. Hoping it's not just a PS Portal 2.

The PS5 Pro is now announced so the rumour mill moves on to the next big thing.

At least they won't be charging for the PS5 Pro upgrades on these remasters.
He doesn't state it is a PS4 game explicitly, just implied, so we can hope it is a slightly older game.

I'll stick with the free PS4 version from a couple of years ago that they gave away.

I am looking forward to playing PS4 games on the PS6.

@LuXifer I thought exactly the same. Either that or when the bosses left they pulled a Jerry Maguire and they all Renee Zellwegered (don't know her characters name as it isn't in the movie title).

I can't see the PS5 Pro selling that many units by that time unless the cost of the PS6 is ridiculous or it doesn't release until around 2029.

It's an increase of 80% in the UK over the digital PS5 slim and 67% with the disc drive versus the disc version.

@Golem25 It looks like The Crew 2 is currently 79p in the UK so worth picking up now.

Technically the Pro is cheaper than a lot of people paid for a launch PS5. I can't see scalpers being able to double the retail price of one of these though.

If it was aimed at the hardcore audience it should have included a disc drive.

@jrt87 I'd like to think they would give it another go as F2P but you are probably right.

Maybe a F2P relaunch around that time will be the best chance this has at a second life.

Live service games are like your local pub. You occasionally go to different pubs and dabble in the new ones that open, a rarity these days, but you always go back to what and who you know.

If they go F2P it won't cost much to refund the 25000 who bought it I guess. Has the game actually got much in the way of microtransactions to make money though?

Why bother with this when you see the sales of PS vs Xbox and it is at best for Xbox 10% vs 90% for PS?

Most people who are caught by this will still shell out for the next early access game from Ubisoft as the FOMO is just too strong.
I assume the update will give them a message saying this or there will be a lot of people who just blindly carry on.

The deal was you can do an episode of God of War as long as you do one for Concord.

Those that plan on playing it later down the line are hopeful unless that later is before the end of this year.

8 years to develop and it will likely be dead within a year of release. Seems like a waste of time to me.

I think game prices are set now to counteract all of the 'I'll wait for a sale/PS Plus" crew. If people want to subsidise the more thrifty of us, then let them knock themselves out.

The facial animations appear as though all the characters have had a lot of plastic surgery to me. Especially the female character with the stiff upper lip, literal rather than figurative.

At least it beat the PS3. Wonder when/if the Series X/S will hit that milestone.

I got about 15 hours logged on Steamdeck and that is about my limit. Fun for a bit but gets old quickly. OK for the price point.

The price point almost had me, but the buy it so we can make a sequel con is making it even more tempting. Although we all know it has minimal chance of happening, that glimmer of hope is worth £20 for me.

I think the people in charge of money at Microsoft have been watched Field of Dreams or Wayne's World 2 too many times. People don't just turn up if you build it. You need to tell people what you've built.

@The_Pixel_King I believe you should just be able to purchase this as a one off rather than go with a Premium sub. It should work out cheaper unless there are other games on that tier you want to play as well.

@GamingFan4Lyf That's about as far as I got as well. Played the previous one until completion but just wasn't feeling this one at the time. Maybe when GTA VI comes out I will be ready for V.

@GamingFan4Lyf That doesn't explain PS Store purchases though does it as you can only buy it there once? Unless you can buy it on a different profile and get the currency on your main?

The list from 20-2 was interesting. We all knew what would be number 1.

The amount of time the Sands of Time remake is taking doesn't seem to fit this fill the release schedule business as they don't seem to be very quick on that front.

I remember enjoying this one back in the day. Not sure if I want to give it another go if it hasn't aged well but the trophies may draw me in.

@trev666 I think half the fun of playing games for some people is paying full price for a broken game to then moan about it online. No one cares about you complaing about a game 6 months after release online.

I'll likely just sport the default suit unless there is a reason to change to a different suit when I do finally get to play the game. Just because it looks cool is not a reason for me.

@Fartingale If another company wants to pay big bucks to advertise a game that is coming to another console at the same time as all the others then let them. Unless you pre-order the moment it is announced on another console and can't cancel said pre-order so you can pre-order on your console of choice I don't see the problem.

It's Sony's attempt to upsell Switch owners to a PS5 while putting a few extra pennies in the bank. The Last of Us Part 3 will not be on the Switch 2 so these people can sleep easy tonight knowing this.
