Good to see the people making the right decision. Halo peaked in the first 2 games and fell off hard after 3. Gears would be fantastic to have.

This is definitely Japan's year with all the releases coming out later too.

I'm over 100 hours deep into Infinite Wealth and I still have a lot left to do. I can see myself hitting 150 hours. The later chapters are some of Kiryu's best in any game.

I still haven't played Gears 3 and how no idea have the story ended. If it comes to playstation I'm binging the first 3. Heard it fell off after that.

No matter what there will always be weirdos who give something a 1 and are immediately disregarded.

NG+ has the Big Swell story content it's not a normal NG+. It's also part of a bigger dlc pack.

Portable additions are irrelevant but FES is significant and they will do a revised edition with this in it eventually.

People are ignoring the lack of competition for the spot. GotG was a great game so I'm glad it did a lot better on debut

They lost me at multiplayer but until then I was interested!

It took a while for photo mode to grow on me but I love it now. I love looking back on an album after playing a game or sometime in future.

My LAD Infinite Wealth camera roll is hilarious.

I actually prefer the fixed camera. I think games in the horror genre benefits from them. Faster paced games like Dead Space are better with the camera they have.

It's a 0/10 for me. I won't jump just because something is a Soulslike. I see not everyone who played it thinks it's that great.

It's funny how there are still so many relevant bugs in this game a couple of years after release.

Well we know this isn't a Rocksteady game because the people that made the Arkham games are gone.

Back in the day there was a small bit of controversy around how they summon their personas. I can see it being blown up 100x in today's climate.

That tweet is not working so I guess they deleted it. No doubt they are running damage control so they can release and sell another dud later. These types always do it.

At some point we will need LAD: Sujimon, but I agree that Nintendo's IPs need to be challenged. Pokémon and Animal Crossing in particular have seen releases with a fraction of the effort and content they could have had.

I would wait for Palworld to survive the PC release first. It's by no means in the clear, it's just an early acess game and a promise.

Black Flag is a fan favourite and felt like it could have contained even more content. They are remaking it for those reasons. Fans of the original games and fans of the reboot games both love Black Flag. It's very obvious that this remake will do well.

I'm excited for this one.

@danzoEX I don't think NG+ is just that. It looks like a whole new mode. Obviously it would be better if NG+ was separated from whatever the hell that dlc is. The last two GoW games are a great example of free Ng+ with added content but Sony and SM are much more stable financially than Sega.

That dlc doesnt interest me at all. Nor does a partial remake (it doesn't have FES does it?). I want Persona 6 or a new SMT game. If I wanna play P3 I'll fire up the PS2 and play the FES edition.

I just need the PS2 trilogy. Don't need remakes, sequels, or spinoffs.

Great news but this doesn't always work out as well as you'd hope. Look at Callisto Protocol. Still hoping they succeed and we get a Callisto sequel we can be happy with.

Not a fan of beast races in anything. Even less so in DD. It had just the right mix of fantasy without them.

Hundreds of builds for 4 boring characters. Glad GotG avoided this nonsense. Might just play that game again soon.

I got all points automatically when the central issue was fixed, but not LAD Gaiden which I opened a support chat about before the fix. They eventually added the points for that game and sent an email as well to confirm.

If you have the app installed you'll get a push notification when the points are added. So no having to constantly check.

@Wilforce Season 2 was revealed early because they were in a place of desperation at the time with all the negative criticism and dwindling player numbers. It was definitely not what they intended.

@zhoont the VA for Leon is the former vocalist for a metal band I listen to a lot so for me that was a great consolation.

Flashlights in the right hands can be extremely frustrating for lower level killers. I can imagine the derision they're feeling knowing a flashlight specialist is on his way 😂

Should have remade MG and MG2 after V while the story was fresh. Then a remake of MGS with Hayter as Snake and Kiefer as Big Boss.

@Sakai I'm on my fifth dualsense since launch because every one of them has developed left stick leftwards drift. I look after them too so it's not a case of abuse.

@Bez87 Kiryu does have a special ability that lets you freely run around in battle and beat people up classic style. Don't think you can use heat moves doing it though. Not 100% sure on that.

I don't watch trailers so the cancer thing was spoiled by articles unfortunately. You can tell something is wrong with Kiryu a few minutes into the demo though.

This game has been on my must play list before it was even announced. The thing I'm most impressed by is actually Kiryu's extreme heat mode analogue. The way they spliced traditional Yakuza gameplay into the turn based battle system is genius. Also happy they brought back his fighting styles from 0.

Now that you mention it, I also didn't get points for LAD Gaiden. I wouldn't have noticed otherwise!

Capcom's redemption arc from greedy mictrotransaction abusers has been great, but I've been a fan of Larian since Divinity 2 back in 2009 and they have consistently improved with each game they've made so my vote will go for them any time.

The games that top are easy to play and have infinite loops. So no surprise there.

Like a Dragon is one of my favourite JRPGs due to the grown up/real world twist on JRPG mechanics mixed with Yakuza wackiness. Infinite Wealth is one of my most wanted games of 2024.

Is he project director or lead writer? I mean the writer who deserves all the credit is Karpyshyn who left ME a long time ago (more like forced onto SWTOR to save it).

Kiryu is a legend, he should not be voiced by a youtuber with VA aspirations. This is coming from someone who only plays Yakuza in Japanese as intended.

The janky mods for the Mount & Blade series are better than the last few official LOTR games.

They got the right people and even Drew is back, this is dreamy. Mass Effect went downhill when EA bought Bioware midway through 2 and altered the story.

So Harley web slings like Spiderman, Deadshot is dead - shot, and impersonated...and Superman has a stark resemblance to Henry Cavill. Batman doesn't sound right without Kevin's voice. Not an easy man to replace.
