Re: Poll: Are You Playing Assassin's Creed Shadows?

Wasn't going to touch it but certain positive reviews and the fact it is some way related to the Odyssey team (whoever is left) changed my mind. AC2 fans be damned, Odyssey is the peak of the franchise. Been playing since the first one on PS3 and I don't get how people keep overrating 2.

Re: Rumour: Oblivion PS5 Remake Releasing Next Month Appears More and More Likely

@JuiceboxMeister It has long been accepted that it's a sequel. The title is a play on the story where Sephi is trying to remake the timeline where he succeeds. Japanese people love to do this with media. Nothing in that game is a remake in the meta sense.

Videogame remakes are not reimaginings they're just updates with new content. RE series, Silent Hill 2 are perfect examples.

For a sandbox game it is remarkably stable.

So far all I had was:
Flickering issue especially at the very beginning on the shields.
Sometimes you can get stuck on the terrain.
One time I had the 'get out' hare icon stuck on screen and had to hard restart the game.
A certain NPC stuck standing at a campfire. He is permanently stuck but it happened after the quest and after I learned all the skills (I think).

@DennisReynolds William was a real person who became a samurai by status. Nioh is a fantasy game with little to no historical accuracy. Just famous characters in passing conflict. It also has a central story involving London. Yasuke was a retainer at best and certainly not a samurai.

If you wanted to make a comparison you should have said Yasuke from Nioh because they are a lot more similar in design. Again Nioh is pure dark fantasy where AC tries to keep some historical accuracy. I'm not subscribing to the 'anyone who criticises is a racist' rhetoric. It stinks of head in the sand mentality.

Been playing since the PSP days and World was the game I had been waiting for. It was such a great addition to the series and I could finally stop playing claw style.

@Nem Like many others I had no issue playing World solo. It was easier and more accessible than the old games for sure. Also Souls isn't masochistic. Ninja Gaiden is. Devil May Cry on DMD is. NUR+ runs of GoW games kinda is. Souls is just a learning curve that can also be circumvented by stats and gear.
