Probably a little more than I wanted to pay (was hoping for around £150) but must admit I am tempted by one

I'm hoping that it plays as well as it looks.

The fact they're willing to give out a free 5 hour demo does fill me with confidence that it will be decent.

The first GTA and GTA London are probably my 2 favourite games of the entire series.

Although they're clearly showing their age nowadays, there's something charming about the simplicity of them.

I think I was 13 or 14 when the first one came out... I saved up my pocket money for it and my Grandma bought it for me whilst I was at School haha

I know I just can't get my head around why people are still buying 9 & 10 year old games.

Not just still buying them but they're topping the charts.

To be fair, thinking about it, I can kind of get it with MK8. The booster pack has essentially doubled the size of the game track wise.

GTA V on the other hand, they just keep releasing the same game over and over with a polish of paint and people are lapping it up.

I've enjoyed replaying the Ridge Racer games as part of the subscription but if I'm honest they were pretty much a one and done as a blast of nostalgia.

I don't feel the need to have them in a permanent collection.

To be fair I was just joking.. I actually own all 3 of the Big consoles. Admittedly I probably do spend most of my time on the PS5 (at the moment at least).

That will probably change in October though when Forza Motorsport releases for the Xbox and also Super Mario Wonder on the Switch I'm really looking forward to both of them.

About time they started adding some Virtual Boy 2 stuff to PS Premium

Speaking as someone who loves South Park but passionately hates RPG games this has definitely pricked my interest

I'll play it when it inevitably comes to PS Plus in one tier or another

I did upgrade to a PS4 pro and other than the extra storage space it felt like a complete waste of time and money.

The only way I'd ever get a 5 Pro is if my OG PS5 broke and needed to be replaced for some reason

I absolutely love the Gran Turismo games (with the exception of GT Sport) and have grown up playing each generation of it.

I don't know what it is though I'm finding it very difficult to find any interest in a film of it.

Hopefully I'll change my mind after seeing it

Let me clarify, and perhaps I could have worded it better myself in my original post.

I am genuinely interested in the story which is why I click on the articles, What I actually meant was that I believe the whole saga has dragged on for far too long.

One way or the other it needs to come to a conclusion quickly.

To be honest it's only the fact that I get Game Pass for free included in my EE mobile phone contract that I've still got it.

I'm thinking once I've had my fill of Forza Motorsport later this year I probably will get rid of it.

I don't play COD so thinking about it, if this deal does go through, I probably already own most of the other titles it be interested in anyway

This isn't a dig at Push Square for reporting on it (I get it that's it's big news) but too be honest I'm sick of hearing about it.

I just wish they could come to a decision one way or the other.

I have a Series X but hardly use it, if the sale gets blocked I'll probably sell it but if it goes through I'll probably keep it as hopefully Game pass will be of better value.

At the moment PS extra is so much better with their monthly updates.

I can't remember the last time a game got added to game pass that I actually got excited about.

That means even in 2033, you’ll still be able play Call of Duty on PlayStation

I'm not even playing it in 2023 so Call of duty is no big loss at all for me

My point is then when you sign up for a free trial of anything if you want it to renew automatically then it should be something that you have to Opt into rather than having to remember to Opt out of.

They prey on people forgetting to cancel and it's just plain wrong as far as I'm concerned

If it involves giving them my card details so that it automatically renews after the 6 months in the hope that I forget to cancel it then no I won't be trying it.

It pretty much always releases on the last Friday of September so hardly the most outlandish prediction / "leak"

The games aren't to my personal taste but that doesn't hide the fact they are a pretty decent selection of games.

Sony are absolutely bossing it at the moment, even PS extra is so much better than what Game pass are offering recently

One of the few perks Xbox Game Pass has over PS plus is having EA Play included with it.

In pretty much every other department PS wins hands down

I'm fine with that, it definitely seems to be working for them so why change it.

I honestly don't know how Microsoft do it to be fair. I have both a PS5 and a Series X, I subscribe to both PS plus Premium and Game pass ultimate ( I get game pass for free with my mobile phone contract)

I honestly can't remember the last time I actually bought a new game.

Unless it was something I really really REALLY wanted to play I just don't see the point anymore because I know that eventually it will end up on one of the platforms and I can play if for "Free"

If I was paying on a monthly basis I probably wouldn't be but I bought an annual subscription on Black Friday and there was hardly any difference between the price of Premium and Extra so it seemed a bit brainer

If I didn't obviously know any better, at first glance I could have been fooled into thinking that was Forza Horizon.

Whether it eventually exists or not one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that I will not be buying one.

I did upgrade my PS4 to a Pro version and it's one of my biggest regrets.

If I didn't already have a PS4 then maybe it would have been justifiable but it was the biggest waste of money I've possibly ever unnecessarly spent

Headmaster was a real hidden gem of the 1sr PSVR headset.

I remember playing it on a hot day with the fan on blowing cool air at me.

I was genuinely emersed into it with the cool air making me feel like I was outside on a football pitch

I do like the Subscription model myself, admittedly I don't play most of the games on there but it's just kind of nice knowing they're there if I need them.

One thing I will say though, speaking as someone who's lucky enough to own all 3 of the Current big name consoles, having 3 separate subscription services on the go, can work out quite expensive.

If for example I only had a PS5 as then it's pretty much a no brainer and represents tremendous value for money.

I managed to get a years worth of Premium for around £64 when it was on sale for black Friday with an Amazon loophole.

Agreed, that was kind of my original point. I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't sell it though the retailers to begin with.

I guess we'll never know for sure but I'm fairly confident sales numbers would have been much much higher had they done so.

Oh of course, I completely agree It's a fantastic piece of kit with absolutely amazing specs.

Jokes aside though I do feel Sony have shot themselves in the foot slightly with it, partly because it's extremely expensive (I'm not saying over priced but expensive). It's obviously a fairly niche product but it's just to expensive for your average consumer to simply buy on impulse and the fact they hardly bothered to Market it properly didn't help either.

As you say those numbers maybe be impressive in the grand scheme but I just can't help think they could have sold so many more with proper marketing and obviously selling it at retail outlets whether in store or online.

Still early days yet though so plenty of time to "turn things around"

For the life of me I'll never understand why Sony decided to sell the Virtual Boy 2 in house only to start with.

One of the bizarest decisions known to man. Letting the retailers in on the act would have been free marketing and advertising for them.

I'd like to think the majority of readers of this website are fully aware if it's existence but your average consumer in the street has probably never even heard of it.

Racing games are probably my favourite genre so pretty decent month as far as I'm concerned.

Seeing as my PS5 has a disc drive already built in.... I would not

Time to sell my Xbox then, I've pretty much only kept it on the assumption that one day this deal would go through
