@Sequel ditto ditto ditto lol. Good times man! First time I played this game was on the PS1 game ‘Help Compilation’ that was sold in the uk late 90s. It was released for a charity (can’t remember which) and it included 3 games, Road Rash, Myst and yours truly Broken Sword. Myst is also legendary to me 👍

The first game was so broken for so long!. I had a quest in Rattay glitch for about 50 hours of gameplay before it eventually sorted itself out with patches. No doubt I’ll be picking this up still 🫣

Yeah I’ll be getting this. Gutted you can only use one character now though, I really enjoyed flitting between them during battles, just like Rebirth

The only Xbox games I want are Gears Of War.

@NoHope damn you’ve got much faster internet than me then. I’m guessing the problem must be interruptions on the 5ghz channel then. I don’t know what uses what channel on my router but with the Portal running so smoothly I’m guessing it’s the only device on the 5ghz channel. Maybe try and check that out? I have no idea how though

@Uromastryx yeah it was a bit of a head blag at first but once you understood it it was absolutely brilliant! Chaining then all together was so spectacular even during low level mob fights. Wish they’d bring it back as an option in modern games but I guess that’s a tall ask lol

Oh my god this is the best thing I’ve heard for so long. I’m a lifelong FF fan and (unpopular opinion incoming) this is my favourite ever. Please let this happen the paradigm system is still my favourite battle system

@NoHope sounds like your router is set up for 2.4ghz. Try opening the router up (not literally) and change the channel to 5ghz

@TruestoryYep well again I wouldn’t strictly bundle Nintendo in the same catagory as the other two as they are very different demographics. One is brought to do serious gaming one is brought (mostly) to shut the kids up. Sony is the most profitable business in the gaming sector, SIE is turning over 3 times what Nintendo does believe it or not although development costs obvs a ton higher. PS plus subs are higher than Nintendo online by a 20odd million. The monthly active user base is around the same. But I’d say given those stats PlayStation is the market leader surely. Xbox doesn’t even come into the equation frankly in terms of console engagement

The timing of this is just perfect for me. I’ve been looking for an excuse to get into these games having never played a single game in the franchise. Even listening to a ton of lore on YouTube lately and the world really is insane (in a cool/grotesque way) so I reckon I’ll be picking this one up if it’s recommended 👌

Fall is a British word for autumn and at the time North America was colonised by Britain we happened to be using it, so naturally Americans started using it and just carried on using it whereas the british went back to autumn at some point after. you’re still kind of right though I don’t know anyone who says fall 😂
