@rusty82 I agree mate, text was too small and why I didn't play it in native language with subtitles. Once you got all the abilities and leveled up a bit it was quite enjoyable. £20 is about right tbf.

RIP Lance, first saw him on prison drama OZ and he had such presence, brilliant actor. Obviously awesome in the Wire and Fringe too amongst many others!
Superb voice acting for commander Zavala, along with Dinklage in D1 they both had such an impact on that game sounds wise for me.

Really sad, 60 is nothing

Finished Atomic Heart in the week, had a good time, I think their next game sequel or not will be even better as it was a bit rough at times and the trophies just didn't track.
Playing Toem whilst I wait for RE4 remake, fun little pallet cleanser.

@Vacuumator stick with DE if you can, one of the greatest games ever made, story and characters are incredible. Kim is a boss!

I will be finishing off Atomic Heart, great game terribly trophy tracking which is a shame as I would have gone for the plat! I might save the hard play through until it's patched and come back to get it.
More Metroid Prime and possibly the RE4 demo but I am torn as I don't want to ruin my first play through having missed it first time around 😮

Excellent, nice animation. Shame I will never get the plat on my current game Atomic Heart the trophies are glitched beyond belief which as a trophy hunter is frustrating given how much I am enjoying the game!

Really pleased the PS5 will now check the cloud for game saves, I know we could just check ourselves but this is useful IMO, just need developers to allow this on every game as some don't recognise PS4 save file for PS% games - looking at you Cyberpunk!!

@Tsushima They are mate, really good addition to break up the intense combat. Not sure about you but gutted some of the trophies seem to be glitched, still might go for the platinum if the hard play through can be done on new game + and it gets patches!

Enjoying the testing grounds in Atomic Heart & I will also be diving into Metroid Prime Remastered.

Really pleased with Atomic Heart so far, gets better the more abilities you unlock. Think Like a Dragon Ishin will be my next purchase, looks awesome and I love the Judgement series!

@Relygon I'm playing Atomic Heart too and I concur, the music is fantastic, I suppose it was never really in doubt with Mick Gordon at the helm! I did originally say the game was about a 7/10 for me but having put some more time into it I'm leaning more to a 7.5, having a blast.

Tchia is interesting and I am keen to play that but I have the rest so not a great month for me, great for those that haven't got them though. Essential is a bit rubbish, Battlefield with no SP is useless but we have had a few good months already this year so can't really complain!!

Yep I'm a playing it and enjoying it, FPS is my favourite genre, looks and plays well but the characters let it down. 7/10 seems about right so far.

It is a great month, I already have most of the games hence the ones I am looking forward to are EDF and Wild Arms 2. If you have PSVR and don't have AC7 then you are in for a treat, really good experience if a little short.

Finished Evil West in the week which is a great game a bit short but good fun. Hanging on for Atomic Heart so don't want to start too much so probably pop back into Destiny 2 now we have a bit of DLC from PS+.

I love side scrolling shoot em' ups, grew up with the likes of Contra so will watch this one closely, sounds/looks interesting.

Looking forward to this one very much, as long as we get new game plus I don't mind hard play throughs at all. Bring on the 21st.

I'm currently playing through Evil West on PS5 and having a blast, not sure I will platinum this one but we'll see.
Also my copy of Indie Heroes 2 arrived for the Evercade so I'll be diving into that mainly for Tapeworm Disco Puzzle!

Atomic Heart for me, been keen on this one for quite some time now. Once PSVR2 hits the shops and not PS direct I will pick one of those up too but I must admit I am a bit disappointed that there won't be many physical games available as they push digital only.

@AndyKazama It did mate, I finished it just before it got taken away from premium but was 1 trophy of the platinum!! Hope it comes back so I can finish it off as it was mindless fun.

I'm on Callisto Protocol which is great but pretty tough, just managed the platform/tram section, it was a pretty epic fight and pretty much drained all my ammo!

It's a real looker too, the suits look awesome!

Great single player game, really enjoyed the story but the live service side was pretty dire, I did get the platinum on it though.... more fool me

Having got my platinum for Sonic Frontiers which I really enjoyed (mindless fun) I am now starting the Callisto Protocol. Also playing some Inertial Drift which is great fun and some cool tunes too!! I hardly ever play 2 games at once but this is so pick up and play it is easily done

I mean it is almost half the price of a PSVR2 in the UK so I would rather put it towards that thanks, but it is cool and all!

It's a good collectable and I would be tempted.

I like the way the PS5 has tiny logos on the face plates that are barely visible to the naked eye which I suspect will be removed on newer versions just like the gloss face plate on the PS4 was removed for all matt in later models.

I like these little details but that's just me!

Hopefully finishing off Sonic Frontiers which is good fun, it has it's problems but a great palette cleanser before either Wild West or Callisto!

It really was a great year for games, some bangers there in all categories, GOWR the best of the lot for me but I happy with any of those GOTY nominations apart from Stray which I enjoyed but it is no where near GOTY material.

Anyone know if Neon White is getting a physical release?

I have a day one with Disc Drive so I will definitely go for the Pro if that ever comes out but I have a few mates who went digital only (fools) and I can't lend them my games! They get ripped in the store so for them it will be excellent and also for me so I can loan them my discs as some of them can't afford all the new games and you gotta share the love.

Music to my ears. It felt like it wasn't going to disappoint but there is always that fear with gaming adaptions, as others have said other than Edgerunners and Castlevania they have been a bit hit and miss and those 2 are animated!

Is deliver us the moon an easy plat? I'm gonna play it anyway via PS+, I am just curious!

I really enjoyed the limited VR experience with GT Sport so this has now had me looking for pre orders of VR2 which I was going to wait on.
Are pre orders for VR2 headset only via Sony at the minute??

@bighal I agree mate, the plat for HFW was a bit of a slog but I really enjoyed the combat so got through it. I have Elden Ring but just have not got round to it yet but by all accounts I am in for a treat once I do!
Don't think I will ever get the GT7 plat due to the online grind but I do love the game and have most off line trophies, definite top 5 game of 2022 for me and don't think I will stop playing it until the next one arrives.
I want to play Evil West and Callisto first though after Sonic!!!! The backlog is real, even before 2023 games - nice problem to have though!

Decent list but I would have GT7 above Stray and unpacking definitely makes my top 10 (maybe 5) glad Sifu is in there too, really good year for gaming lets hope it continues into 2023!!

Well deserved, having got my GOWR plat over Christmas I am now having brainless fun with Sonic Frontiers!!

The spear was great but I couldn't wait to get my hands back on that axe from 2018, so satisfying.

@ShogunRok Great choice for #1, I absolutely would not want to live there but it has a really absorbing atmosphere a bit like the Ascent.
Really looking forward to my first playthrough of TW3 having never played it. Great list 👍

Good to see the Ascent get some love, brilliant game. I went for GOWR but it could easily have been Sifu - pretty special game that one!
