Re: $70 Games Are Just a Phase, Believes Saber Interactive CEO

@NEStalgia Most if it true, but I think most of the price increase in games comes from the increasing paychecks of devs. Not that they deliver ready game at launch though
But still, the whole market is cyclical and all those PCs , laptops bought during covid and noone changes will come soon to an end and upgrades will be needed. Especially with the AI hype. So, we will see again people buyin more, but I do not think that this will start lowering the price due to competition.
One more thing - in the finanacil results of Sony it was visible how thin their margin is from games, hence the hit the stock got. So , they might increase something on their end. I belive that for AAA games and some AA (if I can call them that and example here to state Banishers) the 70 price tag will be here to stay and just be common price. As for some more expensive versions - first we need to know and actually see the quality and quantity of DLCs they will include in orde to say was it worth it or not. Because if I say "Hey, buy a red car for 70 000" and it turns out to be KIA you will not be happy but if it is a Ferrari

And at the end of the day, people will pay. There is a saying in Bulgaria " It is not the crazy one that eats the bread, the crazy one is who give it to him". So, if people pay, why dont they. If people are so frustraited, then do not buy and if the sales are low they will refigure. They will only turn if the financials are hurt.
On the other hand, if the DLCs are like Cyberpunk DLCs ... then it is worth it.

@NEStalgia I would disagree. Lets see things in the same area with many players - TV, sound systems, phones...you pick. Where do you see drop mate? I wish you were right but everything always goes up. Even if we go kind and off topic - the econony is like that. Each company must always grow. It may make 1 bil per day, but if it stops growing stock will fall. Is 1 bil per day bad? No. But if no growth, all goes bad. So, companies make a nice product - it is being bought and growth is here. All well. But when the market is full where the growth is? Increase pricing. The game is rigged.

@lindos True, but the problem here is that suddenly a tiny group has more rights that the big one...
As for the game, I checked the DEMO, I expected it to be much harder ( not that it is easy) but I might check it out later in teh year. Before the DEMO I was 100% NO, but now I pinged it in the wishlist. I am supporter of the DEMO approach.
(turning the time machine on - how cant I be a fan of the demos since back in the 90's the only way to check on some games was DEMO CDs in the PC magazines . It was so cool though )

Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Is Up to Three Times Faster Than PS5 as Specs Surface

@DeathlySW You just said what i thought. Lazy devs will hide behind that tech. But imagine how lazier they will get... kind of a spiral (hope i am wrong).
On the topic - i am very interested in one.
PS6 - i think they will delay it
MS - i would expect them to drop the consoles and work on IP sales. They already lost the console war.

Re: Upgraded PS5 Controller with Hugely Improved Battery Life Spotted

For me the current one is more than enough, but it never froped so fast a 3 hours ... that must be a game with constant vibrations. Also, it very much depends if the vibrations are set to Heavy, med or low (not sure the exact wording). This plays a big part.
But as for how they did it - well, you know that AAA batter from IKEA and Duracell are same form factor, but last diffrently So, they improved smth.
But it is very cool that it is a bundle - most people have one controller, and with that you get second and the station has 2 slots. Cool.
