@get2sammyb Look at Sonys first party this year. Completely non existent outside of Spider-Man 2. Zero announcements. The last real PS5 exclusives was ratchet and clank.

Any yet everyone swears PS5 is the best console ever,completely blinded by hype.

@thefourfoldroot1 releasing vr doesn’t change the fact that they have relied mainly on sequels, third party deals, and remakes this generation. This generation is nothing more than an extension of the last generation really. Returnal was the only good new ip this whole generation thus far and PS5 doesn’t even have 5 non cross gen exclusives worth playing yet.

I hope the deal goes through. This industry is stale and Sony is complacent for the most part.

People been talking about a showcase for the whole 2022. I was told they weren’t doing one because of god of war. Corporate Slaves will always move the goalpost for Sony and give them a pass for basically anything. This company in my eyes is completely costing off of the PS4.

@ChrisDeku Hi Fi Rush didn’t have Sony’s branding on it. This was toted as THE ps5 game for years and put on all the lists for “best exclusives”

@KaijuKaiser The sales don’t back up what you said. The last number given in sales was 560K and Sony has been silent ever since. 30 million PS5 owners now and doubt it even sold a million still. Most PS5 owners don’t even think it’s worth it, yet alone yet alone PC players with massive steam libraries and emulation.

@jrt87 When Sony tells us “PlayStation is the best place to play”, and brags about their exclusives with their “only on PlayStation” marketing then completely reneges what do you expect?

I would have never bothered to buy this console had I known the list of actual exclusives would be paper thin and would all be ported to pc.

At least Microsoft was upfront, Sony is trying to pretend they are still doing the same thing they did from PS1-PS4 with real exclusives like scumbags to drive sales. They’ve been saying false truths this whole gen honestly

@KaijuKaiser the value for this game isn’t there. It was bad at $70, it’s still bad at $60. This game didn’t have anywhere near the budget as something like Horzion yet they expect people to pay for what exactly?

The fact that hi fi rush sold well proves people do want different games, but nobody wants to get ripped off buying them.

@jrt87 consoles are completely worthless without exclusives in the year 2023 besides to the audience who plays madden all day. There’s a reason Xbox is in last place every npd.

Yeah I’m not impressed with the fake timed exclusives they are trying to pretend are real exclusives. Don’t see myself buying any game on PlayStation 5 except Spider-Man and maybe SF6 only because of friends.

Persona 3 needs a real remaster not a touch up.

@TrickyDicky99 it’s going to get way worse for them. God of War was the biggest game they will have until Spider-Man. Final Fantasy will do ok but not anywhere near as much as those 2,and it’s just a timed exclusive anyway.

Me personally ragnarok is the last game I will buy on ps5 until Spider-Man

@MightyDemon82 2 games,wow. PS3 had like 10 at this same timeframe, and PS2 even moreso. When it comes to next gen releases this is the weakest generation ever so far.

This game needs more characters faster imo.

@naruball Nintendo can’t compete? Lol they had Bayonetta 3, Xenoblade 3, Splatoon, Pokemon Arceus, Kirby, and countless more games. Actual variety of different genres. I don’t think you played or even looked at any of these games.

It’s like they had a new exclusive every month. Sony went awol after GT7 for 9 months until god of war was released.

@naruball God of War and Horzion were announced in 2020 and delayed a whole year. Not the win you’re making it out to be. Not even mentioning PS5 hasn’t had an actual real exclusive since Ratchet. Where are the new experiences not possible on PS4?

God of War and Horzion were delayed to begin with. We knew about those games a while ago. Spider-Man 2 is the only big first party game announced for next year.

This Demon Souls and Horzion were all in the steam database leak.

@Mauzuri the soundtrack was outstanding. Cyberspace with the electronic music,the bosses with the metalcore, and the open world chilll orchestra music. I just think you don’t like those genres

Consoles as a whole are not the play right now. Everything is getting ported to PC and Emulation has become amazing so why even bother?

8/10. Sonic is the most fun character to control I’ve played in a while in this game. Just got the Platinum and probably gonna do cyberspace

Horzion is not the pinnacle of anything besides to people who value graphics above all. It has some of the most boring characters I’ve ever played in a game and the gameplay is really not that special at all.

Sony should be trying to make their OWN final fantasy type of game instead of wasting money on timed exclusivity. Everything wrong with the brand nowadays.

They need to add back the old maps

I will not buy any PS game on PS5 that has a pc port.

Why don’t these lists ever give REAL numbers? We have no idea how many copies are actually being moved. A game could have sold 1000 copies and got top 10 and literally nobody would know.

@uptownsoul give an example of an AAA game that was actually good that didn’t maintain it’s position In the top 10 for at least a few months. They have a gradual decline. Even Ratchet did this.

They don’t tank like this will outside the top 10, with a bunch of old games only as completion.
