Biggest and best surprise for me was The Talos Principle 2
I like Spider Man 2 too but it's predictable, it's gonna be the first Spider-Man game with improvements but it will basically follow the same old open-world formula, there are no surprises there... so the best impact imo was from Talos. Loved the first game, the only puzzle-centric game that managed to capture me 'till the end. Can't wait for the sequel!
As for the worst of them... you forgot that kitty pirates what's-it-called game, even a 6 year old would not touch...
And let's state the obvious here: the biggest loser of last night's presentation was Sony, for putting together such an awful showcase. Let's see:
No news on the teased Marvel's Wolverine game
Nothing about the new IP Bluepoint is working on
Nothing on Bloodborne (not that I was expecting any news on this one...).
Nothing on the upcoming consoles, drive-less PS5 and/or PS5 Pro
Nothing on the upcoming Silent Hill games... at least on the Silent Hill 2 Remake that's supposedly further along than the rest AND a PS5 console exclusive above all else...
Wth? Where's the roadmap, what's next for this generation?
What can we expect to play on PS5 in the foreseeable future besides Spider-man 2 bub, 3rd party titles??
No thank you! I bought my PS5 console for the AAA exclusives Sony promised at launch, not to end up playing kitty pirates...
If I was Jim Ryan I would have been too ashamed to even show my face in the video, not to mention to try and make it sound like it's awesome... But I guess you don't get to be a top hat at Sony if you have any decency left in you...
Talk about PTSD... Move on bub! I mean I would have bought Days Gone 2... Hell, an announcement of Days Gone 2 in yesterday's Sony Showcase would have made the show much more acceptable... But this guy really needs some counseling to get over it, it seems.
Suspected it's gonna be a mediocre game, but not this bad... It seems that the desire for a quick money grab and/or the FOMO (regarding a good enough release date, trying to stay away from renowned IP launches) strike the dev teams and publishers more and more these days. Releases leave the studios way before they are properly polished, sometimes even before they're finished, like this game here... it's sad and awful at the same time, for them and for us, the paying customers. Steam has the right idea, with testing a game for free for 1h30' before buying. Here's hoping the other main platforms end up offering something similar, to spare us from the sometimes difficult refund process.
Disappointing ... nothing more than 2 State of Play back to back.
The only games I was glad to see were The Thalos Principle 2, Spider-Man 2 and the next Assassin's Creed.
The rest of the show was a complete letdown.... a lot of games that we're waiting to find out more about were not even mentioned in passing... instead we got a lot of forgettable or uninteresting titles (a foam gun game? what a ... and a pirate cat game ... really? you can't even give that to a 6 year old, he/she'll tell you where you can stick the gamepad...).
I've given so many "No" answers... makes me wonder if there's anything left to look forward to on this Showcase :-/
Anyway, one thing I'm certain about - Bloodborne will not be mentioned in any shape or form, despite the ton of expectations from the fans (myself included).
Here's hoping they at least give us some news about Marvel's Wolverine, and the new Silent Hill games, to make the show worth watching.
Good for them... though I suspect some (many?) of them are just giving Premium a try, and will give up the tier after the initial period has passed.
For myself, already have all the PS4/PS5 exclusives I like, and 3rd party games are usually cheaper on PC if you know where to buy them from... there's no incentive to stray from the Essential tier.
Best time to play it is gonna be when it hits 10-15$ for the future "complete edition" with all DLC included, or when it's offered as a monthly PS+ game - whichever comes first.
Bold statement... congrats to them if it turns out to be true, but for now I'll stick to "I'll believe it when I see it" - been burned too many times by recent releases to trust on words alone that this one will be any different.
As for the game itself... not really a fan of the series until now, especially of the turn-based combat... but this one promises to offer a different gameplay style, so I'm waiting for the complete reviews before deciding... gonna be deep in Diablo IV for a while anyway, no rush.
One must have lived in a cave somewhere off the grid for the past few years to be surprised by 100GB games...
They're already at the limit of a bluray disk, I wonder how long will it take to make the jump to flash drives for physical releases... by the time PS6 launches in 2027-2028 would be my guess, if no one comes up with a better compression method in the meantime... Sony is already testing the market with drive-less consoles (PS5 Digital, and the upcoming PS5 with detachable drive), so that future is not far.
2-3 years for a PC port it's perfectly fine However, Sony must consider increasing the quality of those ports if they continue to release them. Add an extra year if they need to, take their sweet time with each of them, hire 2 separate Quality Check teams if needed... just verify the damned ports properly before release! What happened with Uncharted and The Last of us Part 1 PC ports must NOT happen again... it was an utter disgrace, a total lack of care and respect shown by the dev teams towards those awesome exclusive Playstation IP's.
There are quite a few skills and other bits present in the video that were not accessible in the beta or servers slam.
It all looks like fun here, here's hoping that the end of the game will end up feeling the same way.
However, what we all should take with a hefty grain of salt is the hype, to reduce the level of the unavoidable disappointment the initial build of the game will leave us with, come June 6 (or 4 days early for those Ultimate buyers).
Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 were quite different in the launch builds. They only got better during the course of at least a few years.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I remember Diablo 2 was much improved after the expansion and the versions 1.09-1.10 that added a lot of the content we see today.
For Diablo 3... heh it was only after the initial team left, and the new one launched the expansion, that changes for the good were made to the game. In the beginning the game was a complete mess.... it was very hard even on normal, the real money auction house ruined a lot of the gameplay, classes were unbalanced (sound familiar?), item drop was too low etc... Go into it now, you'll see a completely different game, a lot of fun, a lot of good content added, it has almost nothing to do with the one released initially.
Without a doubt something similar will happen with Diablo 4.
So set your expectations low, and have patience, it won't be the game you're hoping for until much later, after quite a few patches, maybe even after the first expansion.
@MrHonest66 That would be my guess too, but it all depends on Sony, if they choose to delay it and prioritize other ports. For example Ghost of Tsushima was released almost 3 years ago, and no PC port in sight, not even talk of it... Same goes for The Last Of Us Part 2... PC just got the Part 1 a month ago, Part 2 will most likely happen in 2024-2025, whenever the TV series Season 2 comes out. Horizon FW just got it's DLC, if there's gonna be a PC port it will take a few more years to come out (here's hoping 1, but more likely 2 or 3). They could even tie it to the rumored Horizon TV series.
It's good that they fixed it. But I already played and finished Horizon ZD+DLC and FW+DLC on and off during the past 2 months, so I'll let the franchise rest for a good while. Next time I'll get into it will be in Horizon 3 or the FW port for PC, whichever comes first.
Here's hoping it's a new main God of War game, set in Egypt, before the events Nordic events.
They could explore how Kratos goes through changes after Greece, from the always angry and merciless warrior to the more "calm and reasonable person", that we see in God of War 2018, capable of a lot of self restraint, of settling down and making a new family.
All of that while he's cleaning house in Egypt's pantheon, of course : )
I hope they don't make a God Of War main game centered around Atreus, it wouldn't make any sense to call it that sans Kratos as the main (anti)hero.
They could give the BOI a game of his own, a new IP under a different name.
Good for him, its an exquisite game, it's DLC even more so, of course he had fun. What I wanna see is an announcement about Ghost of Tsushima 2 at Sony's upcoming event - that would really make my day.
I'm not one for leaderboards and PVP so pay-to-win doesn't impact me one way or the other.
What i'm most concerned about is item drop rate.
The devs stated in the video released the other day, that the legendary items were "raining from the sky" in the Beta, and this will be reduced in the server slam to reflect the actual game... here's hoping they don't reduce it too much, like they did in D2R, making it far too grindy to be enjoyable. Farming for months just to (maybe) find the necessary items for 1 build is not my idea of fun... In D2R I can play single player and mod the game to increase the drop rate a bit more, but there's not gonna be such an option in D4 afaik.
Bloodborne Remake will be used to boost the sales of the next PlayStation console (which will be PS5 Pro near the end of 2024).
And no PC version will be done.
Just like Demon's Souls Remake.
Those are the only From Software-made IP's that Sony actually owns and can control.
Given the studio's renown, Sony's gonna use those 2 IP's as incentives to bring people over to PlayStation, and will keep them exclusive to their ecosystem, previous games and sequels alike.
That's a clear jump from 11 to 1, which more than 95% suggests it's not gonna be a 12 game, but a restart. I'm totally fine with that, even welcome it, especially if they do complete "stop/start from scratch" cycle.
Let go of the previous games, characters and storyline, it's all been done, redone, reimagined, rebooted, and mashed up to hell and back a few times over. It's all becoming stale no matter how many twists they put in the story.
The IP could benefit greatly from a new roster, a new lore and storyline, nothing related to the previous games. As one Tychus Findlay once said : "Hell, it's about time!"
For those deciding to buy the game now that the 60fps patch is released: i'd keep my expectations low for now. Wait to see the graphical impact first, make sure the game doesn't end up looking like crap in Performance mode because it's rendered in 1080p or lower (and then upscaled to a blurry mess) in order to achieve the 60fps limit. And if said framerate is actually stable, and doesn't drop more frequent than it should... Keep an eye on youtube, some videos will certainly appear in the next few days. If it's all good, then by all means, buy it and have fun! If you haven't already, play the first game before getting into the second, both are very good and definitely worth at least 1 playthrough.
"You know nothing, Digital Foundry!"
Metacritic's final score influenced by "0" reviews is the one we should trust, it's always considered the best official indicator of a games worth.
@KaijuKaiser They seem to prefer the month of April for new MK launches (not talking DLC or special editions like Ultimate)... so I expect the rumor to be false, or for the game to be delayed in the end.
I don't think Metacritic can be officially considered a trusted source for a game score anymore, since almost every big game is getting review bombed by disgruntled gamers , many times for no actual proper reason...
0 score reviews can't and shouldn't be taken seriously by any devs or companies in any official way.
As for the gamers... I can't be sure about others but I for one am not looking on Metacritic if I want to make a good idea about the worth of a game... it would be a waste of precious time.
Now if media would stop making such a big fuss about those review bombings, maybe the phenomenon would actually get a chance die out, and we would be spared of such useless drama every time a good game launches.
Though raising prices is never good news, there shouldn't be too much of an issue.
If you usually buy games on Steam at full price, then your wallet is already well garnished and don't really care.
If you wait for promotions to buy your games, then it won't impact you, just wait for a price you consider affordable and that's that.
Also, for smart PC gamers, there's the 3rd (and best) option - get your games from cd key sites. Cheaper than full price even at launch, and even more so after that. If you buy it during a promotional period - heh, even better.
It may sound like a commercial, but it's just an (unsolicited) advice : )
Make use of it, or don't... the choice is yours.
Finished Horizon FW once last year when it was launched.
And now I'm deep in a sort of "Horizon Marathon".
A few weeks ago I finished my 3rd playthrough in Horizon ZD(on PC this time).
And started an 2nd trek through Forbidden West a few days ago.
Preordered the Burning Shores DLC but I'll play it after I finish the main game, so I can have a continuity in the story.
Btw, I discovered by accident that the Burning Shores was hinted at in a scroll found in eastern Spinebreak in Forbidden West. It was written by Gildun, a character from the Frozen Wilds DLC
And mentions his trek from the Frozen Wilds all the way to the Burning Shores... easy to make the connection that Burning Shores will be a DLC location, just like Frozen Wilds was.
I'm curious if Gildun will actually be there, as one of the NPC's, that'd be grand!
I'm sure this piece of info was found before by others, but I didn't know about its existence until I found it myself yesterday.
Superbly done by the devs!
Hey PS, can you at least add some 4k versions of those pictures? So we can "stare" O_O at them properly.
In those low res images the PS5 only DLC doesn't look much (any?) different from the main cross-gen title.
After finishing my 4th playthrough in The Last of Us Part 1, and 2nd playthrough on The last of Us Part 2 in the last couple of weeks, this weekend I plan on wrapping up Resident Evil 4 Remake... already in Chapter 10.
And that will be it for survival horror for a while, ready to change the genre with Horizon FW - Burning Shores when it launches next week.
Happy gaming everyone!
Is it just me or the enemy at 00:08 freezes abnormally/abruptly as soon as it rolls on it's back ? Guess they have some stuff left to iron out until launch. Anyway, already preordered the DLC a few days back, all set and ready to go!
Burning Shores (which I already preordered)
And Jedi: Survivor if it's gonna be better than the first - waiting to see the reviews.
That's about it for April, the other titles present no interest for me.
EDIT: There's also Bramble: The Mountain King that's not on the list, it launches on April 27 on PS5/4/VR and the rest of the platforms. Nice looking game, curious to see the reviews.
Even split between The Last Of Us Part 1 on PC and Resident Evil 4 Remake. In the meantime I'll install Horizon Forbidden West on the PS5 for a 2nd playthrough before the DLC comes out April 19th.
Sackboy for me, not gonna play it right now, 'cause I have a lot of other games to finish. But maybe in the summer, somewhere in July or August when usually new releases are pretty scarce.
Are there any games in particular that you’re dying to see revealed? Dying to? No. Expecting to? Oh, yes! And not only games, but next console news too, Slim and/or Pro. They better come prepared with a ton of good content, after all of those disappointingly lackluster State of Play(s)...
@kyleforrester87 I don't see the need for drama, the value was merely included to prove a point, how much of it was used during the game. Also, maybe not every PS reader is also a PC hardware savvy, yes?
It seems to depend on the hardware, if I understand correctly, most of the "affectees" meet the low or medium required specs. Played myself for about 2h before the first patch arrived yesterday, didn't encounter any crashes or freezes. The only low point to it was the high CPU usage and the 20 minutes duration both encountered during the shaders buildup at the first start of the game. But after that, 4k@60fps with everything to the max, and no DLSS or FSR2 -> smooth gameplay all the way.
However my rig is on the high end side, and that could account for the decreased number of problems... especially the higher quantity of RAM and vRAM (CPU Ryzen 3800x CPU stock speeds, RAM 32GB DDR4@3600MHz, 3x1TB M.2 nvme SSD PCIE 3.0, GPU MSI RTX 3090 Suprim X that of course has 24GB GDDR6x, of which the OS + game occupied ~17GB).
Alas, since this is a PC port, it must accommodate all manner of rigs, so it's abundantly clear that Iron Galaxy has done it again... With yet another one of Naughty Dog's IP's no less (and one of the most important IP's Sony owns) after doing about the same thing with Uncharted PC port. I hear that Naughty Dog will do it's own PC ports from now on. So I hope the TLoU Part 2 for PC will fare much better.
If there is one constant outcome for a creation of any kind, is that it won't please everybody.
Fans of any game only need the slightest reason nowadays to complain of a Remaster or Remake of said game. Even if a dev pours their hearts and souls into it, even if the allocate the greatest care in the world and try to implement the biggest fan-desired features, there's still gonna be backlash after the launch... because there are either too many to implement, or some of them are mutually exclusive, etc...
Just like in the very old story of the Man, the Boy and the Donkey... whatever you do, there are always gonna be people that are unhappy with your decision or the path you chose. Unfortunately it still applies even today, and will continue to for thousands of years more...
So choose a path, make a decision and stick with it through the consequences - it's the best anyone can do.
The reverse of this low pricing is: how long will it take to complete it?
I'd rather spend 40$ for a heftyer 15h long DLC instead of 15$ for a 3-4h "blink and it's over" one...
"Titan" for 80 hours? Doesn't even come close to Skyrim's 215 hours... that's Titan. By the time you finish you can't even rememeber how it all began Anyway, 35 hours to clear and 80 for complete run sounds good to me, more than that is usually overkill.
Diablo IV definitely.
For those that find progressing a bit of a challenge with the other classes - choose the sorcerer(ess) class.
It does a lot of damage compared to the others.
Managed to reach lvl 19 in ~3 hours of solo play, simply because that Ark Lash goes through enemies like hot knife through butter.
If you didn't preorder the game, then keep it in mind for next weekend.
The content they included in the Beta is A LOT... huge area, 3 classes, a ton of sidequests, a lot of dungeons, all on top of the main storyline.
If you want to have enough time to explore everywhere and do everything, do play as a sorc...
Here's hoping Blizzard manages to ballance the classes better in the final iteration of the game.
So sad... Loved him as an actor ever since he played as Agent Phillip Broyles in the Fringe TV series years ago.
And I was so glad he gave his voice and resemblence to one of the main characters in the Horizon games.
Amazing, talented, actor, amazing voice!
Can't believe he's gone so suddenly... and so soon, at only 60 years...
RIP man ! You will not be forgotten!
PS5 Pro will be a necessity down the road.
Keep in mind the other rumor running around: PS6 will be launched around 2027-2028.
That's 5 years from now - a hefty amount of time.
That being said, ponder this for a bit :
Returnal has to be upscaled from true 1080p to 2k and checkerboarded to 4k to be able to achieve 60fps... and that's for an April 2021 PS5 exclusive game made by one of Sony's own studios, not a 3rd party multiplatform title.
A Plague Tale: Requiem had to be hard capped at 2k @30fps just to be able to run on the PS5. It has NO 4k mode, checkerboarded or otherwise, not even one running at 30fps (!)
And that's just "a taste of games to come"...
You say PS4 Pro was launched because PS4 couldn't do 4k.
I say that by 2015 games started to be hard capped at 1080p@30fps to be able to run on PS4 at stable and playable framerates. See Bloodborne for example.
You say PS5 Pro may not be justified, if it's launched merely for 4k @ 60fps.
I say PS5 Pro will be needed, justified or not, because future games will have no "compassion" for the current gen.
DLSS and FSR are capable technologies, but how long until they reach their limits because the hardware inside the current console does not evolve? Maybe about 2 more years from now? Out of 5 until next gen?
Look at games like STALKER 2 or Black Myth Wukong that are soon to launch, this or next year... drop-down gorgeous graphics with a ton of details... they're gonna make the current gen consoles cry for mercy, and not gonna show them any.
They're gonna have to be stripped down from "gorgeous" to "decent" looking, and just like Plague Tale Requiem, will have to run at capped 2k or lower resolution and 30fps just to be able to be playable on PS5 or XSX !
How would players react to that? 2 games, 3 games, maybe 4 games stripped down to 2k 30fps like that, limited or no ray tracing, looking a lot worse than the marketing trailers... throw in some framedips to 25fps or 20fps when the action is heavy and the graphics abund... and the social media will explode.
These 2 consoles are not Nintendo, where people know from the start they don't buy the console for the graphics!
PS5 and XSX were sold to us initially with promises of 4k resolutions, VRR, beautiful graphics, Ray Tracing etc !
So backlashes will start flying all over the place, about the promises that were made for the PS5 and XSX, and in reality they are starting more and more to fail to fulfill them.
Pro console versions not a necessity until 2027-2028? Think again...
Sony an MS will be forced to launch new hardware revisions down the road, or they will have to face the consequences coming from their disgruntled clients.
You say PS5 Pro launching 1 year after PS5 Slim is too aggressive.
PS4 Slim announced September 7th 2016
PS4 PRO announced on the same date September 7th 2016 and launched November 2016.
That aggressive enough for ya ?
PS4 was sold as Slim together with the PS4 Pro since 2016 until the end of it's lifecycle.
That's what will happen with PS5 too.

In November you say? So this is the actual "drive-less PS5 console" Sony was rumored to launch this year?
Can't get any slimmer than that, I guess...

Re: Another Legendary Japanese Dev Praises Ghost of Tsushima
Good for him, its an exquisite game, it's DLC even more so, of course he had fun.
What I wanna see is an announcement about Ghost of Tsushima 2 at Sony's upcoming event - that would really make my day.
Re: Last Chance to Play Diablo 4 Before Release Is Right Now on PS5, PS4
Good luck everyone!
Re: Diablo 4 Dev Reconfirms Cosmetic-Only Microtransactions
Re: Rumour: Mortal Kombat 1 Is the Next Main Entry on PS5
What kind of leak is this supposed to be? There's nothing here we couldn't guess or expect... Ok, movin' on.
Re: Oh No, the Bloodborne Remake Rumours Have Returned
Bloodborne Remake will be used to boost the sales of the next PlayStation console (which will be PS5 Pro near the end of 2024).
And no PC version will be done.
Just like Demon's Souls Remake.
Those are the only From Software-made IP's that Sony actually owns and can control.
Given the studio's renown, Sony's gonna use those 2 IP's as incentives to bring people over to PlayStation, and will keep them exclusive to their ecosystem, previous games and sequels alike.
Re: Mortal Kombat 12 Teaser Trailer Hints at Series Reboot for PS5
Re: A Plague Tale: Requiem Treated to 60fps Mode in New PS5 Patch
Re: Preview: Street Fighter 6 PS5, PS4 Chucks the Kitchen Sink At Fans Who Complained About the Previous Game
Will play the demo, and read/watch some of the reviews for now.
Most likely I'll pick it up on a discount later on for the single player content.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for May 2023?
Nothing to see here, better luck next month.
Re: Horizon Burning Shores Is a Technical Masterclass on PS5, Says New Analysis
"You know nothing, Digital Foundry!"
Metacritic's final score influenced by "0" reviews is the one we should trust, it's always considered the best official indicator of a games worth.
Re: Rumour: FromSoftware's Armored Core 6 Could Be Coming Sooner Than You Think
Good for the fans of Armore Core I guess, not so much for the rest of us, still waiting for the next SoulsBorne game.
Re: Mortal Kombat 12 Could Be Primed for PS5, PS4's Big Showcase
@KaijuKaiser They seem to prefer the month of April for new MK launches (not talking DLC or special editions like Ultimate)... so I expect the rumor to be false, or for the game to be delayed in the end.
Re: Mortal Kombat 12 Could Be Primed for PS5, PS4's Big Showcase
MK12 will launch in April 2024 either on the 16th or the 23rd
Re: Horizon Forbidden West's Burning Shores DLC Is Getting Review Bombed on PS5
Re: Sony Quietly Raises the Price of PlayStation Games on Steam in Select Regions
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores?
Re: Gallery: Is Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores the Best Looking Game Ever?
Hey PS, can you at least add some 4k versions of those pictures? So we can "stare" O_O at them properly.
In those low res images the PS5 only DLC doesn't look much (any?) different from the main cross-gen title.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 472
Re: Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores Expands Aloy's Moveset with Flashy New Finishers
Is it just me or the enemy at 00:08 freezes abnormally/abruptly as soon as it rolls on it's back ? Guess they have some stuff left to iron out until launch.
Anyway, already preordered the DLC a few days back, all set and ready to go!
Re: Poll: Which PS5, PS4 Games Are You Most Looking Forward to in April 2023?
Burning Shores (which I already preordered)
And Jedi: Survivor if it's gonna be better than the first - waiting to see the reviews.
That's about it for April, the other titles present no interest for me.
EDIT: There's also Bramble: The Mountain King that's not on the list, it launches on April 27 on PS5/4/VR and the rest of the platforms. Nice looking game, curious to see the reviews.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 470
Even split between The Last Of Us Part 1 on PC and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
In the meantime I'll install Horizon Forbidden West on the PS5 for a 2nd playthrough before the DLC comes out April 19th.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for April 2023?
Sackboy for me, not gonna play it right now, 'cause I have a lot of other games to finish. But maybe in the summer, somewhere in July or August when usually new releases are pretty scarce.
Re: Rumour: Sony's Big PS5 Showcase to Take Place in Approximately Two Months
Are there any games in particular that you’re dying to see revealed?
Dying to? No.
Expecting to? Oh, yes!
And not only games, but next console news too, Slim and/or Pro.
They better come prepared with a ton of good content, after all of those disappointingly lackluster State of Play(s)...
Re: Indie Not on PlayStation Beats PS5, PS4's Biggest Hits to BAFTA's Game of the Year
Wow, there really is no accounting for taste... or gaming preferences.
I don't see any appeal in that collection of pixels, but that's just me...
Re: Naughty Dog Drops The Last of Us PC Hotfix After Disastrous Launch
@kyleforrester87 Noted : )
Re: Naughty Dog Drops The Last of Us PC Hotfix After Disastrous Launch
@kyleforrester87 I don't see the need for drama, the value was merely included to prove a point, how much of it was used during the game. Also, maybe not every PS reader is also a PC hardware savvy, yes?
Re: Naughty Dog Drops The Last of Us PC Hotfix After Disastrous Launch
Re: Shattered Memories Writer Describes Silent Hill 2 as 'Biggest Poison Chalice in Video Games'
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Resident Evil 4 Remake?
Never played the original, will finally dig into the Remake today.
Hype all built up, can't wait!
Re: Horizon Forbidden West's Big PS5 Burning Shores Expansion Won't Break the Bank
The reverse of this low pricing is: how long will it take to complete it?
I'd rather spend 40$ for a heftyer 15h long DLC instead of 15$ for a 3-4h "blink and it's over" one...
Re: Final Fantasy 16 Will Take Up to 80 Hours to Fully Complete
"Titan" for 80 hours? Doesn't even come close to Skyrim's 215 hours... that's Titan. By the time you finish you can't even rememeber how it all began
Anyway, 35 hours to clear and 80 for complete run sounds good to me, more than that is usually overkill.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 468
Re: Horizon, The Wire's Lance Reddick Has Passed Away
Re: Talking Point: Is 2024 Too Soon for PS5 Pro?
PS5 Pro will be a necessity down the road.
Keep in mind the other rumor running around: PS6 will be launched around 2027-2028.
That's 5 years from now - a hefty amount of time.
That being said, ponder this for a bit :
