@Pranwell No worries! On PS5 in Performance Mode, the game manages to average around 120 FPS at 1080p. The game looks incredibly gorgeous, as it utilizes the power of the gameplay’s physics system’ with the added benefit of the lighting system and ray tracing.
I need to know how they work with PS VR2. Regular Bluetooth headsets (except Sony's own Pulse 3D) will have too much audio delay when using in VR. However, I believe that is no longer the issue with these Pulse Explore Earbuds. I would like to have confirmation how they work with PS VR2 before making a final decision. Would be nice to be able to use good sounding small earbuds instead of the 3D Pulse, which can be a bit cumbersome to use in combination with PS VR2 because you need to place those over the PS VR2 headset.
People complain about paid seasonal fatailities. WB respone: We're going to release a whole bundle of Paid Seasonal Fatalities next week, you get 2 for free!

That's the same logic as giving vegetarians more steaks, after you accidentally served them steak, instead of lettuce.
I bet that stat also includes digital only game. I would like to see the percantages for games that have both a physical and digital release only. I'm convinced that number will me much greater than 4%
@MrMagic
Yes, but the difference is that in there all characters are black. That's more in the vein of the movie Ghost Dog with Forrest Whitaker.
As I understand in AC: Red, you're playing the only black guy, a ex-slave to be precise, in a in feudal Japan in which I assume everyone else is asian. That's probably not what most players had in mind, who have been waiting for a AC game in a Feudal Japan setting for years now.
I'm not against it, just don't be surprised if this game will catch some heat because of that choice.
It's just as weird as playing Assassins Creed Freedom Cry as a white slave in the lead, which existed in that period as well.
@STOBO
Good point, but that movie was released in pre-woke era. Before people were getting fed up with gender/race swapping.
If The Last Samurai was released today, I'll think it will be received different than how the people in 2003 reacted to it.
But even then there was controversy about The Last Samurai attracting negative press for perceived racial insensitivity for casting Tom Cruise as a samurai.
If this is true, it's funny that out of the entire samurai history, they managed to find the single black african samurai to play the lead.
Even though it's based on real history, I'm curious to see how asia will react to this decision, for a African to represent their samurai culture.
Has anyone any information about the specs of these new Blu-Ray disc drives? Are they identical to the ones in the current PS5s? If not, does anyone know if they support 3D Blu-Ray out of the box, which could lead to 3D Blu-Ray support returning to PS VR2?

Switchback & Firewall Ultra were inexcusable since those were console exclusives. The others could be the result of lazy ports.
Maybe when the Quest 3 is released we might see a slight bump in visual quality for the multiplatform games.
Other than games we expected to be good to turn out terrible, there are also some games that we expected to be bad but turn out to be good. Unfortunately they do not get as much attention as they deserve.
Zombieland Headshot Fever Reloaded 2 is one of those titles which had a massive visual overhaul for PS VR2. Moss and Vacation Simulator are some others that pleasantly surprised me.
It's an indy game made by one person. I assume it was too much work to convert the entire game to PS VR2 and they settled to make 6 mission for PS VR2 specifically and include the flat screen version of the game.
!!!CAUTION!!! Just to be clear, only the 6 new missions are playable on PS VR2! All other missions and game modes can only be played in "flat screen mode". Neither the game's description, trailers or the PlayStation Blog article are clear in communicating that to the costumer.
@DennisReynolds I agree! If I'm not mistaken, Ghostface is just a normal dude who dresses up like that. Although I haven't seen SCREAM movies after part 2 or 3, so maybe that changed.
All the other characters are supernatural beings, which fit more into the game if you ask me.
Although, Jigsaw is also just a dude. The famous puppet we see is just his avatar he uses to scare people and not an actual being.
