LOVE my Portal. After that last update a few months back, performance is fantastic. So nice to be able to play my PS5 while the lady watches a show. Glad to hear it’s selling well!

The timing of this one is all wrong. Competing for time against Rebirth and Dogma 2 is not a great plan. I love Team Ninja’s work, but I’m already committed to Rebirth for Spring. First Team Ninja game I won’t be preordering in a long time…

I think when Kojima says, “For the next-generation” he literally means it. This game won’t be ready for 4-5 years. Crazy to drop a game that early, but I’m sure everyone is excited about the prospects, and now fans can be in on that excitement. Awesome to know it’s happening.

Looks utterly fantastic. Little bit of Nioh, little bit of Wo Long, little bit of Sekiro, and finally a seamless map to explore. Sold!

Finishing up Jedi Survivor and really enjoying mopping up all the collectibles. Then it’s back to Armored Core VI, and then need to finally finish Elden Ring in preparation for the DLC. Also hoping to do another quick play through of FF7R before Rebirth comes out. And God of War Ragnarok is just sittin’ there unopened. Good lord…

Tekken 8 is an absolute winner. The demo made it pretty evident that it’s going to be a smash hit.

But… it also reminded me of how complex Tekken is, and the high bar of memorizing combo strings and moves just doesn’t work me for me any more. Sad to say that I cancelled my preorder after playing the demo.

But yeah, dedicated fighting game and Tekken fans are about to eat reeeeeal good!

PS - there are SO many characters to choose from at launch, so can’t feel too burnt by upcoming DLC characters.

Agreement!!! Cool to finally see Wo Long and Lies of P make a list here—both games in my too 5 for the year as well! Wo Long is just so dang fun to play; an excellent Team Ninja power fantasy. And Lies of P is just a fantastic world to play around in, with a great story and engaging, tactical combat.

Alien Dark Descent is on my wishlist for sure, and can’t wait for my physical of Baldur’s Gate III !!!

Just started playing this a few weeks ago, and wow, SO much fun! Loved the first game, and glad I waited until (most of) the bugs were squashed. If you love Star Wars, it doesn’t get much better than this game. My vote goes to higher on the list! 👍🏼👍🏼

Still need to play Alan Wake. I will absolutely play Alan Wake II, especially given how much I loved Control. I mean LOVED. Too many other games right now, and I’m really holding out for a physical steelbook or something… Maybe after we see how well Baldur’s Gate 3’s physical sells Remedy will change their tune 🤞🏼

@Northern_munkey Utterly fantastic game. Really fun power-fantasy combat, great enemy and weapon design, and decent story. I absolutely plowed threw this game, and I find it tough to finish games these days. Nothing like stopping a dragon dead in its tracks with a sword parry! And alternative opinion to above, I think the level design is great. I definitely recommend it!

This was all I needed to pre-order. Been on the fence about whether I want to jump in right from the get-go; was a huge Tekken fan back in the day, but it’s been a while… This sounds absolutely amazing, and lots of options for single player! Very excited!

Most excited for Rise of the Ronin. Absolutely loved Wo Long. Team Ninja are crushin it!

Jurassic Park: Survival Horror???

Looks fantastic! Wo Long was an absolute masterpiece, loved that game SO much. Excited to see them tackle something that appears a bit more grounded in reality, as much as I love their take on Japanese demonology. Combat looks superb, as always!
