I was undecided about the game but tried the demo and loved it. Nice to see reviews who've spent more time with the game are still enjoying it. I'll be buying based on the demo but it's good to see the scores are good too so far
@fybyfyby only problem I can see with bundling everything together is how that cost is perceived by consumers. £350 Pro, £350 PSVR, £70 Move controller, £50 PsCamera...that bundle is going to be £700+ and maybe they don't want a product on the market for that much
I wasn't too sure about whether I'd be interested in this but after playing the demo I'm totally sold. Looks great, addictive gameplay and most of all it was lots of fun!
@Feena Vita version isn't getting a physical release in the West but there is an English version being made that can be imported from various websites. (play-asia).
This game is 100% buy for me, looks really good. I'm not going in with the idea it's going to be GOTY (that's reserved for Persona 5), but I think it'll be good.
I have to say I wasn't impressed with it running in 4K and actually didn't like the look of it at all on the monitor they had at EGX. Saying that I don't have a PS4 Pro or 4K TV so I don't really care, it'll look great on my OG PS4 too:)
I watched this at EGX on the big screen but it didn't help me decide if I want the game of not. Like you say in the article, the cutscenes and setting seem to tell a great story but the gameplay doesn't look anything special. I was hoping for a hands on at EGX to help me decide.
Having also seen Horizon running on the 4K screen at EGX, I actually didn't like it. It looked extremely garish and actually turned me off being interested the PS4 Pro. I then saw Horizon running on the normal screens/PS4 and thought it look better.
It's pretty good. Feels like a bit of a step back since TTK but I don't mind really. It doesn't feel at the moment like it has that much content to offer, even once you beat the 2 hours story. With regards the story it's always a shame that they have such potential but within 2 hours you go from being introduced to the threat to having completed it and become an Iron Lord.
Archon Forge is a mess in my opinion...so bad compared to CoO.
Fortunately for Destiny it's still a fantastic game and it's gameplay loop is so enjoyable that I can let things slide and enjoy the content. Looking forward to playing over the next month and hopefully completing the Raid
Comment section on this is brilliant. I love how angry people get about game reviews sometimes.
@kyleforrester87 Sims isn't about building houses? It's a game about finding the most interesting way to kill your Sims isn't it? Oh...maybe that was just me.
Most physical stores have the same refund policy on games...if the seal is broken they can't be returned if faulty. I do understand it can be frustrating, but when I buy a game I buy it knowing I'm taking a small risk it might be crap. We have a big community of gamers/reviews etc that we can go to before buying a game.
I enjoyed it but don't see it as a 10/10 (have no issues with you giving it one though).
The ending was a bit rubbish in my opinion and I don't quite think it's the masterpiece it's being touted as. I do think it's a great game but didn't think it offered anything new and I've preferred other platformers considerably more. Still worth playing though.
EDIT: Thought I'd say something positive...the atmosphere and art design are brilliant.
Decided to play Sonic 2 this weekend (megadrive version) and I have to say I really enjoyed it! I was quite young at the time so don't think I ever actually beat it! I'm aiming to beat it for the first time in a few weeks
@DualWielding it could just be me but I'm finding it a bit sluggish in some sections. There seems to be constant frame dips in the first 20 minutes I played, can't find much about it online though so maybe it's just me
I want to be excited for this because TTK was great but I'm not sure I can be bothered with the grind and no longer have the time or inclination to spend 5 - 10 hours a weekend raiding (half spent sat in groups waiting for people). We'll see how I feel closer to release.
I watched the YouTube video on it and it looks like they've done a great job of the port, looks really nice. I've never actually played Ape Escape though and it doesn't actually look like a good game without the nostalgia behind it so I don't think I'll buy
@SmashbrosFtw1306 I do own an Xbox and a Playstation and whilst their line up is better this month, it really isn't this amazing service to be jealous of like everyone is making out.
Maybe external HDD support & PS1 classics but can't think of anything else I'm that bothered about. I don't find the UI a problem as the games I last played are at the beginning of the list.
What I would like is a game stat section like they have on Xbox where it shows you time spent, progress of achievements and rank out of your friends.
Not a big FF fan but I really like the look of this! Just can't decide between PS4 or Vita...PS4 will obviously look better but Vita is great for on the go!
If this is like PC cross play then it will only be private matches and Xbox players in the player pool. You won't be able to team up with your Xbox friends and play ranked or playlist games together. I'm sure for most people it makes this "almost" irrelevant but I could be wrong. There is also no party chat.
It's a start to something but I think there is a long way to go until people get the cross play experience they actually desire.
@Neolit You've certainly a lot more knowledge about the whole ordeal than I have with some decent facts and history to it all! I'm relatively new to it all so my views on it don't take it's history into consideration really. I'm glad some people in this comment section can present their views in a non offence manor
Abzu is 100% buy for me and I'm waiting to hear more about Bound but I'm interested. I do think this sort of promotion is good to get lesser known games out there though
@johncalmc I was also going to buy anyway as thoroughly enjoyed the last one.
I think people are boycotting because Tomb Raider made it's name on playstation (about 15 years ago) and they decided to make the timed exclusive agreement with MS for money. People find it terrible that a company would do something for money over it's fan and are therefore boycotting it.
I'm a relatively new gamer but it amazes me the amount of people that let business interfere with enjoying games. I personally don't care that it's been exclusive for a year, it looks great so I'll probably buy it!
@Kidfried The concurrent player base has been at around 100,000 pretty much from launch to today (excluding Xbox, not sure about PC). In fact they only recently hit their highest concurrent players.
They've said the loot boxes are to fund their championship series so I don't think it's to keep people playing
Whilst I'm not personally bothered by this, it does seem like a strange decision (assuming there are reasons). The game has sold incredibly well on 3 platforms with DLC selling well on at least 2 of them....I'd have thought they'd earned enough money now without the need for "loot crates" (micro-transactions).
@xMEADx to be honest it seems like a lot of people are really like this game but yet it's reviewing quite poorly. I'm seeing a lot of people saying it's really fun so it's definitely not just you

Sooooooooo excited for this one! Unlike most people I'm not bothered if it has Jap dubs or not. Love Persona 4 the way it came and sure I'll love this

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi from what I remember there is about 10 seconds from the E3 announcement. Maybe I'm wrong though
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition Goes Gold on PS4
@GBMatthew I am expecting it to be different to the PS3 version visually/performance
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition Goes Gold on PS4
I'm just waiting patiently for some gameplay from this version to see how much it's improved.

Re: Mafia III Reviews Will Remain in the Bayou Beyond Launch
Dissapointing as I'm still undecided, the lack of playable demo EGX also seemed strange
Re: PlayStation VR's Demo Disc Kinda Sucks in Europe
Has anyone explained why there is such a difference. I don't mind too much. It's not a proper demo disc if it's not in a cardboard sleeve anyway

That's probably a bit selfish of me though lol
Re: Talking Point: What Are Your PlayStation Meeting 2016 Expectations?
Expectations: Neo and Slim announced with most time spent on the Neo
Hopes: Neo announced, New PS Vita, Crash Bandicoot remasters footage, Skate 4 announced and the PS4 Slim was a fake that was 3D printed
Re: Ni no Kuni II Sounds Like One Huge RPG Project

Re: PlayStation Plus' September Freebies Include Journey, Lords of the Fallen on PS4
@DualWielding Not 100% the exact definition of "AAA" but I would have thought Lords of The Fallen is?
Great month compared to what we've been getting, I'm actually looking forward to playing some of them!
Re: Only the First Half of Final Fantasy XV Is Open World, Apparently
Sounds ideal really...open worlds can get a bit tiresome. If it makes sense for the story to go more linear then that's fine

Really great list with a lot of different genres on there! I think you've accidentally put Fallout on it though instead of the worst games of 2016

Saw a comment today on this site saying it was the best game on PS4 atm.....interesting.
Re: Lara Croft's Tomb Raider Will Rise on PS4 This Holiday
As much as I'd prefer to plat this on PS4, you can pick it up on Xbox One for about £17 atm so I'll probably end up getting it for that
