After the 19.hour download time for Miles Morales from extra, been playing that.
It's good, it's more spidey.
But that said, this game doesn't need to exist. It's exactly the same thing. Least make him feel different to play. And no, the instant win button that is the venom powers don't count.
Still, it's more spidey and that's never a bad thing.

Any word on how long Miles Morales/gotg/stray will last? I'm moving home soon and won't have chance to get through them all too quickly.

Have been umming and arring about getting ps++ all week because I wanted to play Miles Morales. Had a ***** day so as I got paid, i ordered it. And now I have to wait 3 hours for it to download. Ergh.

Tifa was a monster in remake. Absolute beast. And tbf all the characters were viable choices, even aeris (I refuse the th) was really useful in this one.

Finish up Resi r3make. It's good, not as good as 2, and don't like the missing content, but it's good and about as fun as I remember. I miss my dismemberment though

Is digimon next order any good? Really liked the hacker's memory games (despite knowing absolutely nothing about the series, just was fun evolving and devolving everything) but next order is a very different thing from what I have seen.

Really liked the first one. If it wasn't for a couple of bugs and getting caught in death loops 3x, it'd been amazing.
This one looks to be more action orientated, but that's fine by me.

Yes, yes, yes. Anything these guys do is just OOZING passion, it's palpable and I will be getting this bad boy at some point. Though I played through initially on Steam so may get it over there.

@CWill97 It's hard. Frustratingly so. But, it's also incredibly fair (not like Dark Souls which is cheap). Any mistakes you make are on you, and it's just learning patterns of the bosses etc. The platform sections are fun too. It's absolutely worth a playthrough, if nothing else than to hear the soundtrack.

FF7R2 needs to be addressed.
There is SO much stuff left to cover:
Kalm, chocobo ranch, mythril mine, nibelheim, rocket Town, icicle Inn, wutai, gongaga, northern crater, mideel, nibelheim again, midgar again, golden saucer, Fort condor, junon, ancient temple, bone Village, chocobo sage, forest of the ancients, cosmo canyon, cave of the gi, WEAPONS, Dyne and coral, crashed gelnika, underwster, space... Not forgetting just the bloody world map.

If they're doing Legacy of Kain, I hope they do the entire series, not just the Raziel stuff. That said, they were all fantastic, they need to poach Hennig for a time to get the story told.

The controls are truly awful lol, but you get used to them pretty quickly (hold select and press L1 (might be L2?) to cycle weapons), think it's R1 to move camera, no analogue movement...

Yeah it's absolutely my number 1 game series to get a proper remake, they could do so much!

I'm one of THOSE people who like to invert the Y but not X anyway so that wouldn't bother me in Jak I don't think, not that I'd play that.

Turn based is a fine style for rpgs, but personally, I absolutely loved the ff7 remake and I thought the combat was by far the best thing about it. Each to their own on that one I guess!
Although I seem to remember getting the pre-order summons at a later date anyway (Chocobuckle, Cactuar I think?)

FF7R2 is probably one of my most anticipated games to be honest, but again, each to their own.

God the amount of times I had to ps+square to zoom in on the bloody text on the first one. I'm sat about 6' away I should be able to read them. Stuff like this (and last of us 2 which despite the controversy, did accessibility VERY well from what I've seen) is very cool and should be the absolute norm.

Actually pleasantly surprised by something Sony have done so that's a nice change of pace as of late.

Having said that, "extra" should be premium and they should have done a basic tier for online access and cloud. Also don't really get the fact that trials, that used to be free, is now some kind of selling point worthy of a higher entry price.

@PushButtons First few times I ran through it, I did it the slow methodical way, crawling behind every car and bit of cover, taking out everyone i could get close enough to, inching away. Then on my (first) survivor run (i think), i went left instead of straight. Literal game changer lol.
Hardest part for me on grounded, was the ellie/david fight against the massive horde. I was trying to save ammo (I think i had 2 rifle shots), so was stabbing and throwing stuff etc. Nah, shoot, don't stab. Replenishes ammo and does damage.

@PushButtons You know you can complete that section in about a minute? Just run left, up the steps and down, sneak up to the first house, get the guy to come out and hide from him, then just sprint the rest of the way and jump the fence?
