To be honest my expectations for this game have gone down over the years. The longer the wait goes on, the more games rely on online services and the more key Rockstar people leave, the less enthused I feel about the next GTA.
Fair enough if some people liked or even loved the game but a lot of people are complaining about a review here while they clearly haven't played said game
It's very disappointing imo. Nowhere near as good as Until Dawn and the more I think about it the more annoyed I am that I spent 8 hours and £50 playing it
Could just be biased but the original Joel and Ellie look better imo
I'm excited to see how different the gameplay is. For its faults story wise, Part 2 had some fantastic gameplay. If they can transfer that to the story of part 1 then I'm probably gonna really enjoy this
I've been playing GT7 all week and loving it so far. There seems plenty of single player content and I expect they'll continue to support it for a while with updates both small and larger
It's the right thing to do to combine PS+ and Now but the whole thing seems a bit underwhelming, if expected.
I don't know why people are wondering what the lineup of games will be. I imagine it'll be almost identical to what's currently on PS Now with the addition of what's been announced from the "new" PS5 games. Potentially with the addition of "classics" added intermittently too. These will be added on a monthly basis as per.
Meanwhile the quality of the "free games" given on "essential" will drop to Xbox Live Gold levels of mediocrity
I think the only way this will be seen as good value is if they add pretty much all the main PS4 exclusives & a healthy selection of now year old PS5 titles.
I don't really see the need for there to be such a radical change anyway tbh. All I think they need to do is improve the PS Now lineup and bundle it together as an option with PS+.

Re: Man of Medan, Little Hope PS5 Versions Available to Download Now
Nice. I'm still yet to play Little Hope or House of Ashes and am meaning to get round to them all at some point
This could be that point starting again with Man of Medan
Re: You Can Disable Criticism from Commentators in FIFA 2023
I really hate the commentary these days. Feels like it's way worse than it used to be back with John Motson etc.
Tempted to try a foreign language now just to keep some noise going
Re: PS3 Classic MotorStorm Pacific Rift Looks Sensational in 4K, 60fps on PC
Fantastic series
Re: Talking Point: Is a PlayStation Showcase Really Happening This Year?
I still think they're missing a bit of a trick when it comes to marketing.
In many ways PlayStation as a brand is far bigger than E3 ever was.
I feel like they should create some kind of PlayStation Week and have their own showcase during it.
It could be used to celebrate the games/hardware of the last 12 months and obviously to promote the future
Re: Stroke the Dog and Now Cat 2,000 Times for 71 PS5, PS4 Trophies
Well, I do like cats..
Re: Bloodborne at 60fps Is Just Two Lines of Code Away from Reality
It's shambolic that it never got anything for PS4 Pro let alone PS5.
Same with RDR2 not having any next gen upgrade.
Re: Rumour: Sonic Frontiers Will Make You Pick 60FPS or 4K Resolution on PS5
I think people, myself included, often forget that 4k resolution is still quite taxing on the average game, even with the power of PS5

Re: Train Sim World 3 (PS5) - Dovetail's Best Railway Simulation to Date
Sorry I don't have much interest in this game. I'm just here for the Simpsons jokes.
Re: The Last of Us: Part I (PS5) - A Better, More Beautiful Remake of a Modern Classic
All things considered I think this is probably the best we could have hoped for. It's just let down by the price really
Re: Latest PS Store Sale Reduces Prices on PS5, PS4 DLC, Special Editions, More
Aside from Resi 2 these all still seem pretty pricey to me
Re: The Last of Us PS5 Remake's Award-Winning Accessibility Suite Outlined
I like the difficulty modifiers. Being able to play with scarce resources but not have enemies just be bullet sponges is ideal for me
I quite liked being able to toggle slow motion in Part II as well. From a cinematic point of view it was really interesting
Re: Poll: How Much Would You Pay for the DualSense Edge PS5 Pro Controller?
The Xbox Elite controller is excellent so providing this is of a similar standard then absolutely I would love one for my PS5 gaming
Re: Anticipated PS5 Game A Plague Tale: Requiem Goes Gold
Also really enjoyed the first game so very much looking forward to this
Re: Mini Review: Thymesia (PS5) – A Poor Take on the Souls-Like Formula
I'll probably still check it out tbh
Re: GTA 6 Will Set 'Creative Benchmarks' for All Entertainment
To be honest my expectations for this game have gone down over the years. The longer the wait goes on, the more games rely on online services and the more key Rockstar people leave, the less enthused I feel about the next GTA.
They've a lot to prove imo.
Re: Upcoming PS5, PS4 Games for August and September 2022
TLOU1 feels like a "cash grab" to me and I was disappointed in Part 2 but that said I'm kind of getting excited for the remake/remaster.
I want another reason to play Part 2, and some of the new accessibility and difficulty settings sound ideal for me.
I loved that you could tweak certain elements in the sequel and even things like the slow motion made for some really cool gameplay.

Love this game. Definitely recommend it to those that haven't played

@PaperAlien yeah I feel this might need changing as it currently seems kinda useless.
The official image example of them looks like a joke 😂
Re: Goodbye, Piemonte Calcio! FIFA 23 Scores Juventus At Last
Wtf is that verbal nonsense at the end 😂
Re: Reaction: WTF Is Going on with The Last of Us PS5?
It looks as expected tbh. Which is a shame and why a lot of us are saying this is unnecessary and too expensive for what it is.
Re: Random: Cats Watching Stray Is Your New Favourite Twitter Account
We've actually adopted 2 stray cats recently and one of them seemed so confused yesterday when the tv kept meowing at him 😂
Re: Stray (PS5) - Atmospheric Adventure Is the Cat's Pyjamas
I was sold on this game the first time I saw it. Sounds like it delivers too
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for July 2022 Revealed
Pretty solid additions. I'm definitely down for some Stray, and Spirit of the North has been on my radar since its release
Re: What Remains of Edith Finch PS5 Version Supposedly in the Works
Thought it was brilliant myself. I'm not really sure a PS5 upgrade is needed but could be a nice reason to replay it again
Re: The Last of Us: Part I Compares Tess on PS5 vs. PS3 Model, and the Results Are Impressive
Need to see proper gameplay if they really want to impress.
I'm sceptical of how it'll be improved but we'll see
Re: Official Elden Ring Strategy Guides are Glorious and Now Available to Preorder, Currently Discounted
Wow this is awesome news. I love strategy guides in general and the futurepress ones for previous Souls games have been absolutely superb
Thanks for the heads up here as I imagine these will go quick

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 430
I'm trying to clean up the last few time relics in Crash 1 to get the platinum there and also spending my nights at The Quarry.
A run flawless run through of Stormy Ascent or creep camp horror. Not sure what's more terrifying

Yeah very Limbo/Inside like. I enjoy these types of games though so will keep an eye on this

Nope. Love these games but not like this

RIP Concrete Genie
Re: All the Big Names Will Be on Revamped PS Plus, You'll Just Have to Imagine Which
I don't think it will. But I see no reason why it shouldn't include pretty much every major first party PS4 game at the least
Re: Talking Point: What PS1, PS2, and PSP Games Do You Want on PS Plus Premium?
+1 for Croc! The Getaway would be great too although I'm preparing to be underwhelmed by this
Re: PS Plus vs Xbox Game Pass vs Nintendo Switch Online: What Are the Differences and Which One Is Better?
"PlayStation Plus only removes a few bigger titles a year, while multiple games leave Xbox Game Pass on a monthly basis"
Do we know this? PS Now had games leave it on a monthly basis too, often the most valuable games on its service
Re: Huge PS Store Spring Sale Discounts 1,000 PS5, PS4 Games
Still want a digital version of Sekiro but not for £30

Re: Poll: Will You Subscribe to Sony's New PS Plus Tiers?
Hmm. I wonder how it will work if you just want to upgrade your sub for a month or two, but already have say a year of "essential".
Sony don't have a great track record of making things like that easy so I'm curious if they'll get this right
Re: Returnal's Free Ascension Update Out on PS5 Now
Adding more trophies?? Geez, I already gave up on getting the randomly generated ones a while ago 😂
Love that they're adding even more content to an already great game
Re: Elden Ring Community Shocked by New Fake Wall Revelation
I love this. Hope it was intentional
Re: Best GTA Games
@Uncharted2007 not only that but in the wrong order too 😂
Worth remembering that it's done on the user ratings though, perhaps reflecting how we've all felt paying for effectively the same game over and over.
