Even without Silent Hill, it's been great to experience horror games inspired by it. I will be glad to see something from the franchise soon, I just want one thing confirmed - there's been too many months and rumours that nothing has been confirmed. Just give us something. I don't want everything everywhere all at once.

Have to say, they shouldn't have expected they would get another after Shenmue 3. 3 should have tied up the story within a trilogy. Actually surprised they tried to eek it out after the long process of getting 3 made.

I'd be annoyed for anyone who's subscription runs out before the switch over.

I think the main thing is the list isn't asking for everything to be done, whereas with Dark Souls 3 you had to follow every quest and get every sorcery/ring/etc. to get the platinum.

I agree with this. I would rather pay for quality and yeah a day one release on a subscription is not going to bring quality in the long run.

To be fair, I was playing it all the way up to the release day of Elden Ring.

Nothing new then apart from a pricing structure. This has all been reported before, just worded differently. The middle package is the PS4 games plus PS5 (eventually) tier, and the most expensive tier is ability to play PS1/2/3 games via streaming and cloud gaming on PC and hopefully phones. Grubb just regurgitating what we already know.

There was good deals for the PS5 version so that nobody was paying £70 for it. Also the ratio of sales just makes me think they wasted a good exclusive on cross platform thinking PS4 had the bigger market.
The game is amazing and the detail in the PS5 version is incredible.

Never experienced the PS4 version for myself but I am loving the PS5 version and not experienced any massive bugs. Couple of moments of little glitches, like a pixilated computer screen so couldn't read the messages.

After the demo showing the vast scale, and then the creator being forced into retirement after rumours of harassment allegations came to light, I'm not surprised this is still in development hell.

FTC now looking at the Activision acquisition. I don't think Microsoft would go for anyone else until this has passed. Right now they have just spent $70billion and need to start seeing a return on that.

Yeah the second year of Plus on PS5 has not been off to a great start.

Understandably weird to have a remaster for the same console, but honestly, I recently played Life is Strange original on PS5 and it bloody well needs updated. Screen Tearing, slow down, audio lip sync glitches, pop in and other bugs. Didn't hinder my overall enjoyment of the story but it certainly showed its age. Would consider once on sale as didn't bother with the True Colors ultimate edition.

Sony's response should be bringing back its long line of franchises it has left alone for far too long. Syphon Filter, Resistance, Jak, Sly, Killzone, The Getaway, a lot of dormant franchises that could reasonably replace what Microsoft could make exclusive. Also buy Square Enix and Capcom, as well as Konami IPs.

Better get started on reviving Resistance, Killzone and SOCOM and for platformers we still have Jak, Sly and Ratchet. I would love to see Sony pump money back into those franchises as a reaction to this news.

I would prefer it if Sony bought Capcom, just so Microsoft doesn't. Cause it certainly seems that Microsoft would rather buy the competition than try to win it. Seriously, they haven't allowed any new acquisition to release anything yet.

I think I would be happy with PS1/2 and 3.

Well if it isn't backwards compatible then it's definitely not a day one purchase for me. It's a shame that they won't patch some games for this new hardware. Terrible decision.

I mean I love the game. But yeah, I am stuck at Biome 6 and just really tired of how frustratingly difficult the game can be.

Am I the only one reading this as you have to pay £10 for EACH remaster? The blog post and the picture ad state that "if you have the DISCS, you have to insert THEM in order to download or play the new VERSIONS." So you only get Lost Legacy upgrade for £10 when insert the Lost Legacy disc.

Then I won't be getting it.

Well done, Rockstar! Pull the previous ports from the store before gameplay for the new version is released. Release a badly optimised update for double the cost. Glad I didn't buy day one. Hopefully they sort it out.

Preordered the collectors edition via Game Collection. Cannot wait!

I remember hearing the whole third Act was scaled back on the boss fights, and rather had you fighting each member of the sinister six individually. It would be great to see what they originally envisioned, but the game is fantastic without their inclusion.

@MickOnYourFace I just came here to comment the same. They have set up a separate listing for the plus version, much like FF7R earlier in the year, so that we can't get the PS5 upgrade for Free.

That is great! I don't understand why games don't add additional trophies for each expansion they release... looking at you Marvel's Avengers as one example.
