You hate to see when enormous trillion dollar entities are awarded for monopolizing and monetizing a once beautiful environment free from war mongering behemoths.
But tell that to a completely amoral society that are conditioned into self-preservation and competition.
Give me a new and brilliant ES6 that teems the creativity of real people that worked in unison to fulfill the creative and technical vision of men and women who were appointed leadership by their peers and I will maybe bend the knee.
I saw the first season on HBO and that certainly wasn't as good as the original game that was masterfully directed by Bruce Straley and the team at Naughty Dog created a AAA gameplay and technical experience back in 2013.
I thought that the show rushed through the story of the first game and was quite a forgetful experience without the masterful direction of the original gamee.
I am quite certain that the show can surpass TLOU2 in many ways, but the real MVPs were those that created the graphics and audio of the game. Truly outstanding work that mirrored the quality of the first game.
Oh wow - I did a thing out of spur of the moment decisions.
In my country a PS5 Pro is about 909 USD. I found a retailer selling a PS5 Pro for 707 USD and I can trade my Original Launch Digital Edition PS5 for 500-530 USD.
So, an upgrade cost me about 200 USD. If everything goes through I can actually just sell the PS5 Pro or my OG PS5 on the market for more after the increase in price should they hit globally.
Am on a buyer's high and haven't got it between my grubby hands, but WHAT an offer!
I was at a galla event with the young and beautiful, and was fortunate enough to be able to assemble a crew of good friends to meet up with afterwards to enjoy a full night out on the town and waking up late!
Besides that I am enjoying Hogwarts Legacy which is everything an old Potterhead could ever wish for. The game runs well, plays well and has a good story, and is held back a little bit by old-gen technology. If a new game is made with better graphics it will be crazy good as this game is very accomplished.
Great communication. I believe them based on their achievements in GTA V and RDR 2.
I was a little uncertain yesterday as to the quality of the game, and how will they exceed expectations when so much is expected? I would love to find out more in six months. This game needs to show a little ankle.
I am in the minority of gamers who navigate my purchase choices based on devs willingness to allow their game to be accessed day one on GamePass.
I was very interested in Indiana Jones, Atomfall, Oblivion and Clair Obscure, but I'll simply be waiting for value propositions similar to GP. The logic is that they'll be willing to lower the price or put the game on PS Plus when their tenured run at GamePass come to pass.
Many people have stacked subs from old conversions which is a mere pittance. Others have found really good deals on GP. Then there's Xbox points conversions, I have seen a fair share of people on Purexbox saying how they used their points to get free GP. Last but not least there's free trials and offerings that many take.
Sure, SOME are paying full price, but the service is deeply unsustainable.q
I'd love for you to make a list of PC components you need and compare to the price of, say, a PS5 bought as new or even secondhand for a few dollars less.
I'd figure you don't even get the graphics card for the price of a PS5. And if you want a laptop the prices increase and the power shrinks.
Also, most people have a PC given to them from work.
You haven't tried God of War: Ragnarok or VR in GT7, I presume? Horizon: Forbidden West is up there too. I have them and haven't even extricated everything from those three games yet - not even close.
I still have to acquire and play Spider-Man 2 and Astro Bot which I think will be very, very good as well.
Third party offerings are there too: KCD II, BG3, and much more that isn't my jam.
It is fair to close ones eyes to current gen, but it is here, and you have to be a gamer full time to exhaust the wealth of gaming on offer.
A trillion dollar company known to deliver critical infrastructure to an alleged genocidal state, extorting its new audiences on Playstation to fund and expand their rental service is exactly why the garden was walled off to begin with.
In other crappy news, Vox Media sold Polygon to a Porn-Kingpin by the name of Hassan Youssef and Polygon lost or laid off key members of staff. Polygon wasn't a site I'd always agree with, but its longform journalism and perspective was appreciated and now it is up in the air what Polygon's future, if any, entails.
By admitting defeat and going all in, coupled with an anemic release of Playstation Studios titles there's room for invasive species to overgrow the once walled-off garden.
The consequences are yet to be felt, nobody is expecting Sony to go on retirement and live off the PS Store tax like Valve is doing, but the reality is that many Playstation First party studios are failing due to a long list of reason I and others have tried their best describing.
The net positive - should you be morally capable of supporting M$ as a company these days - is of course to buy even more games than before from an even wider selection.
I JUST played God of War: Ragnarok and boy, if you haven't that is an absolute transfusion of blood into an otherwise slightly anemic system. The graphics on PS5 alone.... Jesus Christ and kids that's something!
Well, you might say that its sales were robbed by a) phony reviewers and b) being moved out of the way because it was to be published together with the just as polarizing TLOU2 which leftist media took to champion as gospel directly from the mouth of God almighty I might be exaggerating.
Someone else points out the technical issues with reviewer copies, but I distinctly remember NOT buying this game at launch because I bought in to the exaggerated criticism levied at the game at the time, instead I bought TLOU2 heralded as the pinnacle of writing and I SEVERELY disliked the story much to my chagrin.
I just wanted a good game.... and I would have got it had it not been for that damned kid, Neil Druckmann!
Well, I myself have taken the brunt of hate and incredulity for championing this game on this very site, and it is quite vindicating to hear that the efforts to defend and define its greatness were not in vain.
I have already played it once or twice, but I am starting to think that someone, somewhere will make a spiritual successor. If AI continues down its trajectory I will be the one that prompted the sequel in all its glory and the total playerbase will exceed no more than 27 which is myself and my current and future progeny included who shall have no choice.
***** EA! I said it as early as yesterday, their stupid subscription service gives away games virtually for free and now the developers pay the price.
Only a trillion dollar company who is allowed into the sacred, once walled garden of a competitor who cultivated a culture of buying to support, can have a ridiculous subscription service that isn't sustainable, and even then said developer will also layoff staff, slowly but surely.
Brilliant review - I read about a unicorn plaguing another journalist's playthrough by following him around, being invincible and generally a hostile menace. Apparently, the creature was considered his mount, so it explains how it could keep up with appearances.
Also, boring dungeons should just teleport/catapult you out of the end immediately. Like press 'X' to return to surface.
I humbly accept their substantial contributions toward the betterment of the base game, but I would have loved to see the base game be expanded in feasible ways. If DLC were just another map, another story and so on, I'd be less interested.
I LOVE DLC that changes the base game. I think Mass Effect 2 is a prime example of this. Maybe the best example ever.
That said, I bought Metro: Exodus DLC by mistake thinking it improved the somewhat double AA-experience of main game, but it was a whole new adventure that seemed pretty cool when trying out the start of it.
People are making it hard to just wait for it to appear on PS Plus or a subjectively attractive offer.
Maybe my LG TV will let me get it for free via Xbox GamePass Trial. I wonder what companies like Microsoft or EA pay for games to come to their services.... it feels like stealing (from devs) when using their services.
There should be a law that stipulated what each instance of use with a game on a subscription service yields the developers. Like. What do they get just from me A) downloading B) opening the game and C) playing for more than say two hours and D) what if you "complete" a game or play it long enough for the average player that plays all of it finishes. The actual reward scheme of having a game on a subscription remains shrouded in mystery.
It was a joke, layered cake. Or is it only upstanding felons that get to criticize/defend other felons in your world of logic? In my neck of the world woods, plenty of men has entered the correctional facilities as good men and came out as even better men.

I think someone put peanutbutter in an awful place when you were licking this game, Mr. Dog.
The truth is that biker culture is extremely difficult to un-cringe. There'll be traits and dialogue that will curl the toes of lesser canines, but at the heart Deke is a good boy.

I don't think gamers will revise their spending, but my conscience bids me say what happens when they shell out a 100 dollars for early access to Forza for example🤦
Or when they spend hundreds of hours/dollars on predatory/grindy games with the narrative heft of wet cardboard.
Me, myself, I am living out my best life as a Slytherin in Hogwarts Legacy. The graphics are TERRIBLE and crossgen, but at least there's some reverence to the source material. A 7/10 experience well worth it if you're on extra.
A townhall meeting? Sounds like really good local channel television. The one kind without advertisements, just 4 hour of streaming about local planning.
I am starting to wish that Hogwarts would get the TLOU-treatment and get a graphical upgrade that says goodbye to its PS3/PS4-era graphics. It is an okay game mired in technical limitations, and it sold like wildfire, so hopefully the sequel will ditch old hardware and be geared for an amazing and polished version of Hogwarts everyone deserves.
I think the next game should have a slightly younger character and a more Persona-esque structure (with more freedom) to how you go about your day learning magic. I know that it just Harry Potter-rehash, but it could work because Persona also takes that formula and nails it with a different cast every time. They could also change settings and leave Hogwarts for one of the other schools.
I am playing Hogwarts Legends and it is NOT GREAT on a portal. Or my home connection is crappy, but when I play GOW:Rag it looks PHENOMENAL on both Portal and TV.

I am a perfectionist Slytherin, but want to maybe restart or have a side character as a bumbling fool of a Hufflepuff in order to fail everything that can be failed.
I wonder if the deals to put Indiana Jones, Clair Obscure and Oblivion on PS Plus has already been made or will be done when sales taper off.
Like how far ahead in time are games booked in to the service? Maybe later than I think, compared to Game Pass which seems to be pretty early in a games' development to sort of hedge the developer's bets or because they belong to a poor trillion dollar company.
Off-topic: Some day, I'll play on my PSVR2 headset. I have a lot of games just begging me to play them.
The truth probably is that Sony Playstation supports PSVR2 like an unemployed bum on the streets with a beard rash would support Paris Hilton's wants and needs (in the bizarre reality where she is bitterly dependent on said bum). Like, he's trying in his own way, but it'll never be enough.
And meanwhile I just bought a month of extra to steal away the experience of GOW: Ragnarok which I just finished and is a 10/10 WOWza game and started on Hogwarts which looks like absolute dog ***** in comparison. Like... did they even try? It will probably take a while before I ever see something as spectacular as GOW: Rag ..... and I have KCD2 between my greedy, grubby hands.
I've had the flu, so my brain is even less useful these days. Thanks for accurate description of time's passage. I should tattoo it to my body, so I don't forget.
The story-trailer confused me: Why is woman sitting down, when it would be much more polite to stand up, like these upstanding gentlemen are!
They even gave her a sword as compensation for unluckily killing the worst parts, arguably, of her family, so she seems ungrateful to boot!
But okay, maybe it's just a side character, because it seems pretty obvious we get to play as the charming rogue greeting her by the door. Seems like quality answering-the-door-gameplay to me. We don't get many of those.

I've had the flu, so my brain is even less useful these days. Thanks for accurate description of time's passage. I should tattoo it to my body, so I don't forget.
Re: PS3's Resistance Games Not Playable on PS5, PS4 at All After Just 6 Months
Jesus, what a storm in a tea cup! But it is quite soon, I'll admit. Maybe the games are terrible!?

It is 25 hours since it shadow dropped, I feel. Get some sleep 💤😂
Re: Ghost of Yotei Gets PS5 Release Date, Trailer, Pre-Order Details
The story-trailer confused me: Why is woman sitting down, when it would be much more polite to stand up, like these upstanding gentlemen are!
They even gave her a sword as compensation for unluckily killing the worst parts, arguably, of her family, so she seems ungrateful to boot!
But okay, maybe it's just a side character, because it seems pretty obvious we get to play as the charming rogue greeting her by the door. Seems like quality answering-the-door-gameplay to me. We don't get many of those.
