There's no way this was made by one man. Maybe it started as an idea in 1 mans head, but this product was probably made by hundreds of people.

NGL as a PS only gamer this is pretty awesome news. With Sony somewhat dropping the ball on ps5 exclusives recently its been great to have some cool Xbox stuff to look forward to. I love the Sony IPs and hope for a resurgent late gen ps5, but with all this xbox stuff it hasnt been so bad. Really hard to see though how this is benefitting xbox other than through game sales as I think its clear without a doubt at this point that PS is the best place to play.

Wouldn't your questions be something they would more likely address in an investor call or in some financial documents? At least controlling dev costs etc. I get PSVR 2 silence is bad for the product itself as support is nonexistent.

Yeah I think that means its going to be shorter and more linear. Which could still be great if the graphics and gameplay hit the whole time.

@themightyant You can't really call it an edge case because we don't really know how many games will use the features or how they will perform. This is some evidence for this game running better. Does that make it an "edge case?" No. Just means there is a small sample size.

@Banjo- You might know people that did that, but what about the people that didn't play any of them because they don't know that the stories are not connected. I'm saying they are missing sales because of this numbering system. You might know the difference, but lots of people don't. You might anecdotally know people that played 7 then played 4 or whatever, but you probably don't know anyone who saw that 16 came out in 2023 and thought "***** i have to play 15 games before this." Its why God of War in 2018 wasn't "God of War 4."

This isn't the only problem but I think they need to ditch the numbering system on the games. 16? Really? Not everyone has been gaming since the 90s, and younger people don't know that these are more or less completely disconnected games.

Ratchet didn't sell very well, but this has to have cost a lot less to make, so overall lower than say God of War sales might still be a success.

Weird time to announce this too as historically I think those have come out in Aug-Nov timeframe, we're one year out from that.

I thought every game since like 2008 HAD to have trophies? Why are these and a handful of other skirting that rule?
