The game really does look good... but as mentioned in the article, the complexity will scare some away - including me. After a long day of work, I'm not looking to get confused or annoyed because there are multiple buttons doing ONE action all at once. Oh well, will probably still pick this one up... just not on day 1 or for full price

Good to hear! Inquisition is still my favourite of the three, though I do enjoy DA2 as well. Origins is horribly outdated, though, and barely playable. It doesn't help that it has the worst cast of the franchise... although the Mabari is actually adorable and I wish it came back in Inquisition.

Can't wait to see what Veilguard brings to the table.

I do - 23 hours into it and taking my time with it; It's highly enjoyable and rushing things doesn't work for me, so...
And like NintenGuy, I don't sell my games either, ESPECIALLY not this one. It'd be an insult to Team Asobi imo

And just like that, physical games just got better... again.
I will 100% become a retro gamer if future consoles require an account/online connection to play a game.. I can totally see Sony do this.

Is it really that simple? If such an expensive console is going to sell really well.. won't it mean that the PS6 will be around the same price, if not more? Alot of people won't be able to afford it.. Gaming will be considered for the elite and that's just something I can't justify, no matter what. However, if Sony releases a more affordable PS6 at the time with less ''impressive'' specs, then I'm OK with it; I just don't want to splurge that much money on a new console - and I know ALOT of people don't want to do that either. The same thing here with the PS5 - I don't mind the Pro THAT much (Even though it's blatantly obvious Sony's being a greedy little beaver here), but if it co-exists with the regular model, then I don't mind it that much. However, if they pull out all the older models and force people to buy the Pro... yeah, then we're going to have a problem

@Diaclone_Dad I feel the exact same way; glad to see some rational comments on here! I, too, will be using the PS5 only for retro gaming and some third party titles from now on; Astro Bot being my final Playstation Studios game

@B0udoir Yeah, most likely. What I can't figure out is WHY Sony's being so greedy? Like, do they WANT the pro to fail, because I'm fairly certain most people just don't want to spend that much money for what's essentially a slightly faster PS5.. and maybe a slightly better looking one.. and then also cutting away stuff that are there at the original model's launch.

Prices for groceries and gas are already sky high thanks to inflation, so putting this ''pro'' console at such a ridiculous price... will only raise the sales for the original model. Yikes, Sony. Happy weekend everyone! Over here it's one more day of 30 celcius.. after that it's back to the lower 20's - finally. Can't wait for autumn to officially start!

Not sure what kind of special bots you all are talking about.. I haven't played Playroom in over a year haha.
That said, if a game doesn't require internet or an online account to work, it's an instant win in my book.

Naturally - everyone with a PS5 should.. unless, of course, they're only into the generic crappy open world ***** that Sony has released over the last 4 years or so!

The last five years or so SUCKED for Playstation imo. Aside from R&C and now Astro Bot, not a single game has peaked my interest.

Meanwhile, on the PS4, i got blown away by all sorts of games; Sly Cooper, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Knack (Yes really, I loved those games!), Horizon... There's almost none of this veriety on the 5, which is an absolute shame

Ooooor.. here's an idea: Actually BUYING it and supporting Sony and Team Asobi...? Waiting for it to go on Playstation Plus is such a dick move, not going to lie.. and it will take several years to do so anyway. It's not even full price like most PS5 games either, so unless you don't have a single dime to spare - which I doubt - I highly suggest you actually buy it

... You do realise Sony has released at least two of these stinkers by now, yeah? Both Foamstars and Concord were their handiwork.. and both flopped immensly. And yet, they keep insisting that live service is the future and that they want to keep pursuing it. Yeah, Sony's future is screwed. Their legacy might also be, if they dare to turn ratchet and clank or uncharted into live service multiplayer crap.

Haha yeah, with the immense flop of not one, not two, not even THREE live service games in the last six months or so, Sony really does need to take a step back and think.

If not, well... my patience with the company has nearly run out, if they don't take this chance to make more singleplayer games and less live service crap then i'm out. Waiting on a sale for Sonic Generations seems like such a waste though - it's already a fantastic game and with that Shadow story being added too it's most certaintly a day one game for most.. Surely you can just scratch away that ''Metaphor'' game or whatever?

I kinda like Star Wars.. but the ''Instant failure if you're spotted'' stealth missions and the fact that it's a Ubisoft game instantly makes me not want to get it - not even at a deep discount.

It looks great, but this sentence right here put me off the entire game: "Particularly in the early game, stealth sections are rendered an immediate failure if you're spotted, while quests later on demand you prevent the alarm from being raised"

Spiderman 1 also had this stupid issue. Like, stealth missions are okay and all.. but immediate failure if you're spotted, on ALL difficulty settings? Big no no.

Then again, this IS a Ubisoft game so i'm shouldn't be surprised about this.. yet I still am, somewhat.

Hogwarts Legacy, easily. Not only is it the best Harry Potter game, it's the best damn open world game I've played since Skyrim. Absolutely fantastic in every sense of the world.
