Far too expensive for a racing game. Anyway, between Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Zelda ToTK I have more than enough to play!

I have a couple of SoS games on my wish list so am glad it’s back. I know there’s a player on here - sorry can’t remember your username! - who’s played something like a 100 hours on (I think) pioneers of Olive town.

Sounds like they fixed the flickering on Geralt on the inventory screen. Another issue I’ve had is when buying/selling with the armourer next to the bridge in Skellige, where mine has crashed several times. I submitted a report each time so hopefully it’s got through to the relevant people.

Some nice changes but not enough to justify its £70 price tag.

£7.99? Does that include the base game? 😉

Still too early to tell. Based on what I’ve played so far I’d give it a 7 or 8, but I have a long way to go.

We’ve already had a 60fps patch, honestly wasn’t expecting anything more for a 4 year old game.

Only a week until SW Jedi survivor, then Redfall just a few days later…so Dead Island 2 has to wait I’m afraid. Probably get it down the road in a sale.

I’ve avoided the betas so far and will avoid this forthcoming one too. I know this game will be a big time sink for me so am holding out for the full release in June. I just hope they get their servers sorted in time!

I’m glad to say I’m over my gaming rut from last week 🙂 I’m mainly playing The Witcher 3 (second play through, first on PS5), some Gran Turismo 7, and also Ni No Kuni II (on GamePass) .

They should have put this on PS+ ages ago. I still haven’t played it, if indeed “play” is the right word.

Good to see Hogwarts Legacy still going strong. I’ve finished it now, but did enjoy my time with it. In fact, I just wanna praise PushSquare for actually reviewing it. I’ve noticed several outlets that have simply refused to review it (Eurogamer, Edge, Play magazine) all for obvious reasons. It’s a shame really cos the devs did a great job on the game.

@MightyDemon82 @Matroska thanks for your tips. Fortunately my gaming rut has only lasted about a week so far. I’ve lost count of how many games I’ve downloaded this week on either GamePass or PS+ premium, only to play for 10 mins then delete them again 😂 I do read anyway, but usually last thing at night before I got to bed. I’m hoping by the time Star Wars Jedi survivor comes out I will be over my rut, or that may actually be the game that ends the rut.

Almost definitely getting SW Jedi survivor, and Dead Island 2 is a possibility. I would get Burning shores but I never got around to finishing the main game 😳

I’m gonna be playing Tales of arise this weekend. This has been on my radar for a while, and when I saw it in the spring sale for £13.99 I couldn’t resist!

If they’re gonna polish it until release day why not put back the date they “go gold”? They have plenty of time, and the later they go gold the smaller a day 1 patch will be.

If it means not having to pick between “graphics” and “performance” modes, ie getting 4K/60fps/RT - all simultaneously - then I’d definitely bite!

Even though I bought Dying light 2 at launch I could never get into it like I did the first game. Will give it one more go when this update lands and just hope the new combat improves things.

I saw Bella on the Jonathan Ross show at the weekend and was shocked when she told JR she was 19 😱 I thought she was only about 15!

I loved Ico. Would love a Bluepoint-style remake.

@ErrantRob if you have no real love for the genre then it probably won’t be your cup of tea. Saying that, I’m defining NOT a hardcore strategy fan, only occasionally getting into them. I played Age of Empires 2 a short while ago when it launched on GamePass and enjoyed it. Ubisoft are quite generous in giving players a whole week to try out Anno so I would say give it a go as you have nothing to lose. Personally, I’m going to play it for a few more days before I pull the trigger. I’ve almost finished Hogwarts Legacy so I need another time sink, and Anno 1880 would fill that gap nicely!

I’ve been playing the free trial of Anno 1800 and am enjoying it so far. I can see myself buying it in the coming days, and subsequently losing many hours to it! I hope to finally finish Hogwarts Legacy over the weekend. I now have all spells unlocked, including the 3 unforgivable curses, and have just a few quests to go.

So sad 😢 loved him in The Wire, and later in the Horizon games.

Still haven’t played this. I know it’s been on sale several times, but I’m holding out on it joining PS+ extra or GamePass.

The games I’d ordinarily be interested in I already have. I’m looking forward to Tchia though, and it’s great it available day 1, much like Stray was. I just wish Sony would do more day 1 releases, especially with indie titles.

An arcade management sim? I’m definitely interested! Will take advantage of the week’s free play trial first that Ubisoft are providing.

I think it’s safe to say they sorted their stock issues!

@DETfaninATL @DETfaninATL I agree with your point about the story being too long. The last third or so of the game really dragged for me and I was more or less forcing myself to finish it, which I eventually did. They needed to cut several hours off the main story.

Mostly jumping between Hogwarts Legacy and Metroid Prime remastered. In Hogwarts I’m level 23, played around 25hrs, with about a dozen main quests still to do. I still haven’t unlocked flying mounts, or explored the bottom of the map! (South Sea bog downwards). I’m also looking forward to unlocking the 3 “unforgivable curses”! Anyone who hasn’t yet tried fidelity mode on PS5 I highly recommend giving it a go. I usually prefer performance mode, but in HL fidelity mode is super smooth.

Good to see fidelity mode getting some love. I usually play games in performance mode, but I was happy with HL fidelity mode so have been using it since launch. Looking forward to seeing how they’ve improved it even more.

I’m about 15 hours in so far. It’s good, but not quite GOTY material yet, though with more hours under my belt that could change. I’ve got my own broom (not the easiest things to control 🙄), though haven’t unlocked mounts yet. The “beasts class” is my next quest.

@KingPev I wanna play Metroid Prime remastered, but I’m already juggling Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Space, and Age of Empires 2, so will probably get it at a later date.

Like **** is it! Lots of great PlayStation exclusives that are all better than any COD game.

@J2theEzzo Thanks for the info 👍 I haven’t played it in quite a while either. I found there were too many currencies, systems etc at play, though I think I read they are going to be streamlining these so I may jump back in!

OlliOlli World and Mafia DE I already have on Xbox. I’m quite looking forward to trying out Evil dead the game. I’m still not sure about Destiny 2 beyond light - is this the new expansion? Do I need the base game to play or is that included? I think I have the base game on PlayStation but honestly can’t remember 🤪

I’ll probably still be knee-deep in Hogwarts Legacy in March anyway 🙂
