I played some of the Yakuza games when they were on GamePass but couldn’t get into them. Some of the others I already have (Metro Exodus, GR Wildlands), and the remaining few don’t really interest me. I just wish they’d give these monthly drops a bit more variety - this month it’s all about Yakuza, last month it was Assassins creed 🙄

Gutted it won’t be out this year, but at the end of the day I’d rather wait a bit longer for a more polished and finished game. Anyway, probably be knee-deep in GoW Ragnarok this Nov/Dec!

I’ve just finished Stray. The game was pretty good, with some gorgeous graphics, especially the lighting. I think PushSquare’s rating of 8/10 was spot on. I’ve now started Raji an ancient epic, which I’m not sure about so far. Still playing F1 2022, AC Origins (though may switch to Odyssey soon). On my Switch I’m playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Mario Kart 8, thanks to wave 2 of the booster pack courses!

Really looking forward to this, though every time I see the game’s title in a headline I dread the words “delayed until…” 😬

I don’t suppose there’s a way of telling the new additions only, or do we have to trawl through the whole lot again?

I’m pretty burnt out on Valhalla so can’t see myself playing this any time soon. Saying that, I am currently replaying AC Origins thanks to the recent 60fps patch.

This game would be the perfect fit for PS+ extra or GamePass.

I dusted off my Switch so I can play Xenoblade Chronicles 3. On my PS5 I’m still playing Stray and F1 2022. I also bought a couple of indie games in the PS store summer sale - Raji an ancient epic (enhanced edition), and Cloudpunk. Haven’t started either yet, and with Cloudpunk I’m going to wait for the free PS5 upgrade in a few weeks time.

This was never gonna be day 1 for me anyway. I’ll wait till it’s either on PS+ extra or heavily discounted. I have enough games in my backlog anyway, I can’t justify spending £70 on a game I’ve played before.

Would love to see some PS5 gameplay! I’ve been dying to play TW3 again but am holding off until the upgrade drops.

Do you have to watch it through your PS5? Or can I just set it up on my PS5 then watch it on another device? I have a Roku for my TV and would rather watch through that.

What have they given us since GTAV? Just RDR2. Admittedly the single player was amazing, but it had no DLC. GTAV had no single player DLC. The GTA trilogy remasters were poor. Ffs Rockstar sort yourselves out!

At £/$70 I would yes, it is a cash grab. If it was more reasonably priced then probably not. I’ll probably end up playing it when it comes to PS+ extra/premium.

This is 4 years old so I think we were lucky to even get a 60fps patch, let alone the fact they are going to improve it. I think for a native PS5 version you’ll probably have to wait for the inevitable Crew 3.

If they drop the single player mode completely then I simply won’t buy it.

This just makes me 😡 Rockstar have created this beautiful, vast open world western and are just letting it go to waste.

Didn’t Starfield have a “confirmed” release date of November too? Sorry, I still reckon GoW will slip into 2023…but by god I hope I’m wrong! When we see an article that says “God of War Ragnarok has gone gold” then I’ll get excited 😜

I wish they’d add the option of starting a new game. I haven’t played this since getting my PS5, but don’t want to open another account just for this game.

Well I definitely contributed to F1 2022 making the top spot - I bought the PS5 disc version on Amazon, where it was £55. There’s no way I was paying £70 for it.

Tbh I don’t think they need to worry about clashing with Need for Speed’s release date

I’ve never really got on with FromSoftware games (too hard) but despite this I still ended up buying Elden Ring anyway 🤪 I got into it for a few weeks, and even beat a few early bosses, but eventually the constant beatings I was taking wore me down and I inevitably gave up. I got about 20 hours play out of it so it wasn’t a complete waste of my time or money.

For the last few years I’ve bought the F1 games on Xbox, but have decided to get this one on PS5 for the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Also Amazon have it for £55, a saving of £15.

@Gloamin I’m hoping it comes to PS+ extra, or even GamePass. I know it’s had great reviews, but not sure it’s my cup of tea so would rather try it first.

Subbed to PS+ extra for a year. Already playing Returnal, and have downloaded a couple of racing games to try out. With this and GamePass I now have too many games to play 😂

Wait, what? The new service has only just launched (in Europe at least) and there’s games already leaving?!? Mind you, I wouldn’t worry too much about missing out on SW3 as it’s hugely disappointing.

I went for PS+ extra for a year, which works out only £7 per month. The one thing I like that GamePass doesn’t offer (as far as I know) is you can buy an annual sub, whereas GP (inc GPU, which I have) you can only buy a max of 3 months, though admittedly they do stack.

I just hope they don’t commit to a release date unless they are 100% sure they can deliver. All we need is yet another delayed game this year.

I went for PS+ extra. Not interested in retro gaming so Premium is out. I was going to do a 3 month sub, but after seeing that works out at £10.67 a month (saving hardly anything) vs a yearly sub which works out at £7 p/m, I went for the yearly sub. First game I’m downloading…Returnal 🙂

I let my PS+ sub lapse a few weeks ago, and will re-subscribe tomorrow. I’m not into retro gaming (despite being old enough to have played the games first time round 😂) so will sub to PS+ extra. Will probably go for a quarterly sub and see how it goes. Looking forward to playing Returnal, Stray, and hoping for some other titles like Disco Elysium final cut.

I’m not even looking at this sale until I know what games are included in the new PS+ extra/premium tomorrow.

Release it day 1 on PS+ extra/premium and I think a lot of the haters will stop hating.

I literally started playing this about a week or so ago, having already played the original version before. I’m certainly not stopping my play through cos of the PS5 version.

I’m suffering burnout from Valhalla. I don’t even think this free dlc will tempt me back.

Ghost of Tsushima DC - I finished act 1 and am now on Ike island for the first time. Also playing Ghostwire Tokyo and Persona 5 Royal. I went go-karting today (IRL) so that’s got me in the mood for some karting action in GT7!

So just like George Lucas later rebranded “Star Wars” to “Star Wars - A New Hope”, this game is now going to be called “TLOU - Part 1”, instead of just “TLOU” 🙄

Overpriced. Sony would do well in the PR dept to release this straight onto PS+ extra/premium.

I’m knee deep in Japanese culture atm - I’m on my second play through of Ghost of Tsushima. Almost finished act 1, so I can then go to Iki island for the first time. The instantaneous loading on PS5 is incredible! Also playing Ghostwire Tokyo, which I only started last night.
Away from my PS5 (and Japan!) on my XSX I’m playing Sniper elite 5 and Ruined King.
