I’m good for 4K Ultra. Only worried about the good old stuttering issues almost all day one PC releases are plagued by. But I’m confident in ND and Sony. Most of Sony’s first party PC releases have been well optimized.

Looking forward to my very first playthrough!

Excellent. Bring it on, baby! I was going to play it regardless but happy to see it’s getting positive reviews as well.

I don’t feel anything particular about the game to be honest. Not a huge fan of the franchise but I’ve enjoyed a few FF titles in the past. FF16 looks fun and I’m all for a great game so what the heck, let’s go!

Happy to see Atomic Heart. It’s probably not everyone’s jam but I had a blast with it.

Hell, if it’s good it could warrant to go for a second playthrough. Can't quite put my finger on why but I really liked this game.

@KaijuKaiser You’re likely right. It’s probably just a minority of Souls fans like myself who complains about the difficulty anyway. But honestly it’s not that big of a deal, I’m sure it’ll turn out fine either way!

Pumped for this one. Finished the demo yesterday. It is indeed very, very similar to Nioh 2 but my gut says I’m going to enjoy it regardless.

Although I’m worried about the difficulty. Demo was a breeze. Parry is too forgiving and kind of OP!? Maybe the full game will be harder.

Finishing up the remaining Testing Grounds in Atomic Heart. The game certainly exceeded my expectations, surprisingly so. Moreover, the music is so fricking bomb!

I’m also planning to clean up some side content in Forspoken and Hogwarts Legacy while getting ready for Wo Long next week.

For sure, having a blast! Man, I miss good old BioShock.

Yes, although I’m afraid I’ll get bored with it rather quickly, as was the case with PSVR which I also, ironically, bought at launch. So why do I even bother with the second iteration you ask? I don’t know. FOMO, probably.

I’ve been playing it for a few hours now and I quite like it so far. “A bit too long” and a pointless open world means I should focus on the main objectives. Thanks for a good review!

Shame but somewhat expected. Double dipped and got it on Steam. Fantastic port, looks absolutely incredible and runs silky smooth on my rig.

Giving it more than an 8 would be a stretch for me. It’s far too similar to Ubisoft’s open world games, from fetch quests and filler content to mini-games. The combat can be challenging, which I like, but the puzzles not so much. Moreover, most of the dialogue seems to be written for a five year old.

But despite all that my overall impression was good, I had a lot of fun playing it.

What a great selection, alas one has already completed all of them.

@A_VideoGameIsA_Video Indeed. I largely agree with you. Gameplay wise there is absolutely nothing we haven’t seen before, a striking resemblance to the Ubisoft formula.

Nonetheless, I’ve spent upward 40 hours on the game and I love it. But then again, I for one, actually like Ubisoft’s games.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time on Hogwarts Legacy already. Great game with an incredible attention to detail. Although, the core gameplay is eerily similar to your standard Ubisoft open world formula.

Yup! Not for PS5 but still. A little bummed to miss out on DualSense features though. I was hoping they’d implement them for PC too. Oh well.

Strange. I mean it’s a good looking controller but certainly not the slickest thing I’ve ever seen..

I’ll be damned. Decided to jump on Mafia: Definitive Edition after finishing up Dead Space, and boy it’s surprisingly good. Granted I had no expectations but still.

It’s fine, ND. Just bring me a kickass PC port. What’s another few weeks when you have hold off on playing TLoU for years.

I am intrigued. Presumably you have to play the prequel before jumping on this one, right?

Surely Hogwarts Legacy will be epic, so of course I intend to play it eventually. But right now I'm more intrigued by Atomic Heart and Wild Hearts.

It wasn’t awful. I’d give it a 6,5/10. Admittedly, it could’ve been a lot better. Regardless, I enjoyed myself enough to finish it and clean up some of the open world side content.

Finishing up Forspoken and starting Hi-Fi RUSH. Best shadow drop in forever!

I will purchase it eventually, no rush though. It looks gorgeously gory but in the end it’s just a remake of a game I’ve already beaten. Updated visuals can only do so much.

@Green-Bandit Hah, don’t sweat it my guy. You’ve got nothing on me. I main PC (currently), prefer Xbox controllers, love Sony’s excellent first party titles and Push Square is still my go to site for gaming news. Oh and I’m enjoying Forspoken. The horror!

I’m sure you’ll love the Edge as long as you can put up with the mediocre battery life.

@Green-Bandit Short answer, yes they feel a lot better. Very similar to the Xbox controllers. I’m not a huge fan of the original DualSense, never felt comfortable in my hands. But the Edge with its “tighter” body and rounded grips feels real comfy even for me.

Got mine this morning. Mighty fine controller but 6 hours battery life is a major bummer. I have no intentions of using it wired…

Yeah, I bought it but for PC. I was going to buy it for PS5 if the PC port turned out to be garbage. But to my surprise the demo was actually stutter free (yes, really). With that said, you still need a beast of a rig to enjoy 4K60FPS RT/Ultra…

Darn it. If it runs like crap on PS5 I reckon the PC port will be a glorious stutterfest…

That sucks. I’d happily purchase a more powerful Pro model. I want more ray tracing action on console.

Fingers crossed it turns out well. Would be dope if it comes with a third-person view option! That would probably make me replay it altogether.

Continuing my Resident Evil marathon (RE2/3 Remake, RE7 and Village). The remakes are well done imo, runs impeccably smooth and are graphically impressive with ray tracing enabled.

Happy I managed to hold off on playing Village until third person view was released just recently.

Nah. Played it on PC. Not a huge MH fan so double dipping (or triple, considering I got it on Game Pass too) is not happening.

Ordered one. Looking forward to it! Using Xbox elite controller on Xbox/PC already so I’m fully accustomed with the paddles etc.

But, admittedly, the battery life is a massive letdown. I was expecting something on par with Xbox’s elite controllers, oh well.

4K@60FPS Ray tracing here we go! Or maybe you can push it to 120 with DLSS enabled on a 4090? Regardless, I’m looking forward to this one. Had an absolute blast with it on PS5.

@sanderson72 Yes, but QHD is defined as 2560x1440. So yeah saying 2K QHD is confusing.

A good selection of games I’ve already played long time ago. So nah, not very happy.

@Mad001 I want to buy it on Steam for 60 fps ray tracing but I’m holding off till it’s confirmed to be stutter-free. The Callisto Protocol was a nightmare.

Good to see they’re offering 1440p60 on console though, that’s good enough for me if PC performance is subpar.

My intentions are to pick it up day one. Either for PS5 or PC. Performance reviews will decide that. If it’s a stutterfest on PC (like many day one releases…) I’ll grab it for PS5.

Finished High On Life the other day. Decent game, not too long so it didn’t overstay its welcome.

Now I’m onto Crisis Core Reunion and also Blacktail. Picked it up on a whim. Surprisingly good, don’t sleep on this little gem!

Oh yes, I'm ready for this and so is my rig. Honestly, it wasn't even that long ago since I finished it on PS5 yet I'm super eager to try it out with fancy ultra ray tracing goodness!

I didn't pick up Returnal day one because I was convinced it wasn't for me. When it hit Extra I decided to give it a shot. Pushed through the entire game in record time, loved it! I'll be sure to grab it for PC as well.

Not happy per se since I’ve already completed two of them but it is a good selection of games!
