Well, this is more exciting than the Viper class...

The first game clocked in around 17 hours and I don't recall that being a major problem.

I'm hoping this is like a library wide check instead of an individual 'Check for Update'...that gets tedious.

If this is a 1-1 update and they sell it as anything other than a TOTALLY FREE upgrade for PS5 owners, Naughty Dog can go straight to hell. No argument. No, well maybe. Just go straight to hell. If it's a Director's Cut with extra content and in full 4k/fps you can get 10 bucks. But that's it.

@Powerplay94 I'm expecting this as well. Although I was very surprised they didn't do this with Gran Turismo. Even still, I'm very glad for the PC port of Forbidden West. One of my 2 favorite 2022 games. The way things are going, I would guess 2024 is going to be a big push for PC with Sony. H:FW will probly be February-ish to his that 2 year mark. GoW:Rag late in the year. TLOU:2 when season 2 of the show is going. And hopefully Ghost when the timing is right. Hard-core PS owners may not like it, but PC players sure do.

Weird cuz I thought this was all about third party games and indies. It was Spiderman 2, Rebirth and a couple PSVR2 games. Granted all 3 look great. But seriously. Wth was that?

IF and it's a big IF, the PS5 kicked out it's own signal like the PS4 does and it could be used independent of your own WiFi, then maybe. Or a USB connection. Something like that. If it does I can't find that information. But it only works via over-the-air wifi? That's madness. The amount of latency caused by that would render most action games near unusable, let alone an online game where you essentially double or triple your latency. The Portal is DOA for me. Even the Vita/PS4 remote play would be more viable.

80$ for online play access on Non-FTP games. Sony must be really sure of themselves. That's pretty insane. And the announcement goes live just days before BG3 launch on PS5...great timing.

If the RDR1 port is any indicator, folks will buy this in droves on day 1. Devs have picked up on our addiction to nostalgia being a great excuse for re-releases.

Please give us Ghost on PC. Kkthx.

I'm really angry at Xbox with that stupid Dashboard and bought this for spite....at least that's what my brain said when I pushed the button. Cuz that'll teach Xbox! In absolutely no way!! Me spending 50$ for a barely upgraded ort!...I need help...

Larian-Takes years and smart investment of early access purchases to create a once in a generation RPG with zero microtransactions and a complete experience. Satisfying and thrilling fans everywhere.

Blizzard-Puts a stripped down, aggressively priced in-game shop on Steams for one of it's best original IP's. Fans immediately down-vote it into oblivion.

Bethesda-Sells it's soul to Microsoft. Yet still spends years in it most ambitious open world action RPG. Even with the ambition, it won't sell the number it would have because Bethesda isn't as important as Acti-Blizz.

Devs and corporations are weird.

It took me 6 hours to download the release file...yeesh.

@WaveBoy I look ridiculous in the setup...no lie. Need a fan blowing cuz the head sweat gets intense.

@WaveBoy I use my old PS4 white gold headset with the dongle for PSVR2 and they work fabulously. I can't imagine these somehow performing worse.

An over stuffed coding mess on PS5 and Xbox Series...makes me wonder what the coding Wizards are going to strip.

Good lord....internal 8tb plus the 1tb...that's absurd! I put a 4tb in last year that ran me near 500. Still have a solid 2tb left. I'll never play that many games.

It was never going to be sustainable when creators had no path to profit from their own creations. The game is an amazing tool that was blocked from its own potential by greed.

Giving away a low price unsupported game within which creators can't profit from their own creations. Gee that's really nice of Sony.

It's running pretty damn smooth on SteamDeck off a SD card. 30fps in game and no issue on the pull rifts. Cutscenes run at 26fps for some reason. Only hitch I found was the end of the opening sequence when falling thru the rifts there's a 4ish second delay when loading the new dimension. Even if it's essentially a complex cutscene. Loving it tho.

I'll pick this up on Steam for Black Friday for 20 bucks and load it on a SD card. It's weird that the SteamDeck is the only console this generation not BSing it's way thru everything.

I see this and think....that's 2000 hours of my life I can see disappearing. Sleeper hit of the year.

@Cordyceps CrossCode is still on my unfinished list. I got burnt out after the 999th screen of puzzles in the Lightning temple. Great story tho. Bug Fables is also quite fantastic. Problem with the random indie RPG's there just aren't many of them. Come to think of it, I think there's a Paper Mario clone coming out soon I wanted to check out...forgot the name.

@Cordyceps the older I get, the more I really appreciate good turn based games like Octopath or Triangle Strategy. I am a little surprised there aren't more Indy RPG's. Most games just get funneled thru the 'will sell X amount' chutes and nothing more.

That would make for one helluva explanation on a Warranty repair, I was playing that game you paid to be exclusive. Then it nuked my PS5.

So far I'm not impressed. Every major character being a superhero, makes for one boring ass story.

Good speaker. Good voice. His 'reading the articles and headlines' type of YouTube coverage got tiresome. But he is not lacking in voice quality.

I'm past the point of caring with this crap. Do it or don't. Just quit with the drama of one of the wealthiest companies in the world trying to buy the scummiest video game publisher. It's exhausting.

Hurry up and make the movie so Ghost can ride the hype to PC.

@Triumph741 I have a personal preference to non-traditional pc gaming. Although I break that somewhat with the SteamDeck.

Not bad. Considering Jedi Survivor is 160g. That 4tb SS upgrade was totally worth it.

@Yorgen I committed the cardinal sin. I put my SD in the case without zipping it closed. Forgot, grabbed it and watched it tumble to the tile floor and break the left bumper. After ordering a replacement part and tearing it down I found the contact was actually sheared off the daughter board. No choice but to send it in.

I'm gonna have not one second of spare leisure time this winter....

Figures...right after I send my SteamDeck in for repair....
