I feel like HZD is one of those franchises that people sorta like, but nobody’s actually a huge fan of it and that most people are probably a bit puzzled as to why Sony keeps pushing it so hard when nobody is all that excited about the franchise in general. Am I totally off base here?

I’d be surprised if Disney didn’t have something to do with Indy going multi- plat. They want ROI on their IP, and the gamepass users aren’t going to generate that.

After awhile I found myself preferring to solo missions, but the time limit made solo-ing the harder missions pretty much impossible. If they’d make it to where there was no time limit I might jump back in. I know playing solo kinda defeats the purpose, but after playing with randos for awhile I just preferred it.

Developers don’t need Xbox. Xbox needs developers.

PS5 Pro incoming

For what it’s worth, I saw the gameplay video and I canceled my preorder and switched it to space marine 2 instead.

My question is, can I play Scarface with it? That’s the one PS2 era game I really felt like I missed out on.

I’ve probably played the original halo dozens of time since its release, I’ll play it again on PS5! Bring it!

This might be the best game I’ve played in the last 5 or 6 years. I almost never play games twice, but I’m almost through NG+. I’d love a sequel, bring it!

@Vault_Mcfly I could be wrong, but I don’t believe consoles are dying. Xbox is dying bc it doesn’t have any games worth buying a console for and gamepass is bleeding profit for them, so I believe Sony will be more than happy to pick up that market share.

This reminds me of the PS2 era where almost all exclusives were 3rd party. Nothing wrong with it as long as good games are coming out.

I chose 9. I’m totally loving this game. It’s like Nier Automata, DMC, God of War, and the classic “Gall Force” anime all rolled into one! You can choose less “distracting” outfits if that’s not your thing.

@UltimateOtaku91 I assume you have it on story mode, make sure you go into the settings and set it to automatically complete QTEs. It doesn’t seem “automatic”, but it makes perfect dodge and parry a lot easier. Also go into the settings and adjust the QTE timing so that it gives you a screen prompt and more time. You can also go to the skills screen, choose a skill and press square. You can practice everything without risk. Hope that helps!

@dskatter yes, agreed, it goes from awesome to rage-inducing once you have to stick a tricky jump

It’s not like I wouldn’t play it, but the remaster is fine. I think they should just focus on going forward at this point.

I keep going back to subscription services growing peoples’ gaming backlogs, which causes people to wait on buying games until they’re cheaper or even “free” which reduces revenue. Subscription services are killing gaming, IMO

I love this game, I hope it’s active for years to come. Every mission winds up playing out differently, and the community has been really non-toxic so far.

Nobody wants a god of war game featuring Atreus. Nobody.

It was a pretty good game. Every game that released around the same time as baldur’s gate 3 suffered. That’s the reason.

I’ve played all of the Halo and Gears games, I’d gladly play them again with trophy support

Definitely excited about rollerdrome. Is steelrising just as punishing as the souls games?

I played it, finished it. I thought it was pretty good. It’s a bit of a metroidvania FPS, give it a try!

In months like this I add the games to my library anyway just in case in the future I’m just old, lonely, with no friends or money, knowing that I’ll always have something to go back and play.

No physical, so I’ll just wait for it to be on PS+. Both AW1 and Control were on there, no reason this won’t be a year or so from now.

There needs to be a “waiting for it to be on PS+” option in the poll

I don’t plan on playing this one unless it hits PS+. I didn’t really like Basim in Valhalla, and it sounds like this game is everything I was bored of prior to Origins. Not to say the series didn’t need change bc it did, but going backwards isn’t the answer.

This is a great month, makes up for last month IMO

True PS3 emulation so we don’t have to stream those games. It’s terrible, at least with my internet connection.

Disappointed there wasn’t a far cry reveal. Yes, really. Maybe avatar scratches that itch, but not a big fan of the movies.

Oh, another thing, way back in the day I actually sold my PS2 so I could get an Xbox and knights of the old republic. I know it’s a 20 year old example, but he’s wrong.

@dark_knightmare2 agreed, time is limited, and trophies are what really keeps Playstation as my main. That said, I’ve owned all of the Xboxes at one point or another and I’ve made time to play all of the halo games, gears games, and some random odds and ends throughout the years. Xbox has definitely profited off of me because it had great games.

@LiamCroft while having great games on Xbox may not lead anyone to sell their PS5 it would drive people to buy Xboxes, which they’re not doing now.
